Damn there s some new things to learn in Shogun... Althought some old tricks still works, some old trick are quickly avoided by AI. Rolling an army is much toughter, thought coming with cavalry behind bowmens and battling ennemies still work a charm. Assalting a castle climbing walls is also awesome and tense. having to balance the Bushido way and Chi way is daunting as raising armies cost reserves of rice, one more point to worry, supplies!!! Trading ain t a given you must tame the other clan enought so that he wish to trade. And my ass have been handled to me in a battle iwould have won on hard when i was on normal...Shame on me. As for strategy in TW they are basically the same since Shogun one. Musket or not. Rolling an army works like a charm at least until Empire and trapping AI ain t a challenge as AI is dumb enought and can t maintain ciherence in Empire , don t know about Napoleon thoug. In Shogun or they fall back or it seem they try to break your line in a single attempt, not sure it a normal behavior or a coincidence. If not Its Sun Tzu applied as i had him cornered with no issue, its charged and broke my lines..like a spear trought an armor. Morale broke and my general fled as cavalry charged and i was trying to steam the flow until i could regroup...no time, bad luck, bad tactic..whatever, or all toghether.. Arght. :D Ijust had to launch A10C and fly around (take off, landing) just to hear the engine whine from start to full growl and my mood was back this morning....Interesting how simple little things can change your mood and bring you happiness.:D Thank you Ed and to your team.

Frankly, Its not for nothing that shield where build, that medieval assault on castle had moving covers. There also the fact that muskets and the like had less range and less accuracy than bows, but they required much less training (no skill) so its why they got popular, anyone could wield one so a general could have wall of dumb, badly payd, suicidal people. I visualize those battle like 2 bunch of to be executed people with wall on their back and guns. the bunch who have everybody killed first loose. There s anothe thing that push me out in empire and Napoleon, they seem to shoot so bad its not even fun. 2 row of 50 people shooting at each others front to front shouldn t take 30mn to end, more like 10 at max.

Well i see not many people using VAC, GC2/3 around. I m really in a doubt. Its hell gping all those commands seeking F that aren t planes all around.. Separate or not separate in 2 soundcards.... If i separate my wife may kill me. Whats the advantage of having separated voice from rest of the sounds ? -

I have all but Napoleon Shogun, Medieval 1 & 2, and even the crappy Empire. As i don t like rank of people rowing themselves in front of themselves and shooting at each other just praying not getting hit while eating something, all this without seeking any kind of cover... Its beyond me. For me its really the dark age of warfare. So i jumped Napoleon, as i should have done with empire. I already Bought Shogun2 as i am much of clash, at least it make sense in my head. The game is very beautifull and fun, the AI is somewhat improved. If you like warfare, economic and Strategy, diplomacy take the demo. There a tutorial and a historical battle mean to show you the kind of battle chaos you will confront This time CE went back to his roots (about time) bringing the best of what they learned in 10 years. @Jazjar, DCS may do things to you at long term, but with Shogun you will suffer from the far worse...just one more turn syndrom. @All of you who don t have it... Buy Rome if possible Rome BI (Barbaric Invasion) its still awesome if you can take on outdated GFX, in this game all the countries have real diferences so playing diferent faction is really diferent and a blast! In BI, Nothing like night warfare with flamming arrows all over the place. Nothing like loosing a 2000+ city and seeing all the survivors becoming part of the horde coming to smash you, because the city have been plundered to the walls. And a bit of very interesting facts over history in those time were the Mighty decadent ROME fall. COuld you same it ? Or will you Smash it ? can you ?

How VAC perform on speech recognition compared to GC3 ?

What MTF said. If its a possibility my CPU goes around 65 up to 70 C full load when the ambient temp is 35-40 C. Its monstrous its not that expansive and beyond all it works. I should add that my haf 922 has other 4 fan to cool the case.

Cockpit and helmet are designed to isolate so the pilot have a greater chance to hear the comm. Anyway you can change the world com settings to your liking. -

Not all translators are reliable. Anyway try shuffling in the cockpit building section there a lot of people there that have kicked that issue out and are fuly operational with your settings... or not. Some people are going 1 monitor instead of 2 small for easyness of install. -
Very NICE rep in.

Depending on how much you have guys i would recomend a 560 over a 460. -
They will. Japan is " Used" to this kind of disaster, and other kind WW2. Anyway if a people want to live it have to. Really the last string of Earthquake is impressive, but when you llok at the techtonic plaques involved they more or less all make sense. A part of the earth adjusting to the inner pressure it suffer daily. We re nothing but ants floating on cushions and thinking we are kings. If the cities wouldn t block the night sky and star lights so much, maybe many would be more humble.

Nice work... +1 rep. I don t like the rays...not natural or maybe the actuall are too intense.

And a ton radar and system management to boost it. You will be sooo overhelmed that when you start to think about DC, the next module will be out.

Maybe... can they still see trought buildings and mountains ?

For screenshot purposes ? Glowing Amraam demanding one for movie making purpose ? To reward some very good 3d artist ? Too flare your eyes and shaff your brain ? To test new kind of 3D modelling tech that will appear on the compat patch ? Well ... Carrier ops FTW Enought crop groove makers...Lets do some sardine fishing Lets do some skillfull landing...hitting a deck on not do good weather with some crosswind is always a challenge. What i wonder is if DCS would be able to do some nice boat rocking due to sea storm, But even without such landing only is a blast.

No as i can t see the picture i got this damn freaking iced frog.

Try to live out of USA and well talk again about cheap... Anyway nice settings. If i had this kind of oportunity though, i would go 2 for instruments with helios and 3 vertical as you did. Right now i m trying to sort if i buy a 32" 1080p TV, and set my 22 monitor to instruments or if i go a 27" monitor + my 22 as instrument. 32" TV and 27" monitor are the same price. But 32 TV would allow 2 others smaller monitors vertically on the side for a futher future. The doubt, the doubt...

Smuggling some spices to Tattoine, can you send me a copy via interstellar com for my holodeck ? Talk about highjacking its own thread...:D @Conure: As in any public department, there s alot of loitering, you can reduce it to 2/3 it will still work fine. We dont need the troopers, why send troopers to storm rubbles ? The pilots and support crew can be a problem especially if there s supply management in a DC.

Pilot:" Do you like my mock up, for the governo dress party ?" Soldier: Not bad, turn around. Hey nice uniform, OMG where did you got that patch ? i m seeking one it been 2 years, but i can t find one even on e-bay" Pilot: "Well we could trade them you know, nobody will know the diference anyway" Soldier: "Thank you!!! Go along and send the governor the regards from the (insert ID) unit, with us around here he s safe"...
