@ Slayer: My actuall monitor is 60 MHZ, would this strain occur because of the larger area and larger pixel ? @ Gadroc: I m not sure i m following you.. TV above 60Hz, i think you mean meant to receive above 60Hz doesn t really receive above 60 Hz they only blur the extra signal trought the screen ? Slammin, my 40" home TV is my wife s computer screen, and all look shark on that non Full HD (as far i can remember) TV. But thank you for the heads up, i ll take extra care on choosing the TV, without this warning i wouldn t have bothered to have this extra care. Some TV resseller will have a sweat for his money :D

I think 1080p TV those that are full HD, arent crappy because they are more thoug for gaming than the 780p. But anyway thank you for the heads up! I dont want no 780p...i want something worthy.

Chavez has financial issues with oil low cost since its the only national product this country has apart tourism on Hugo chavez speech, so it may well be true they are having issues maintaining them. Anyway who wouldn t be happy to fly those, even only to fool around ? As now Venezuela has the greatest south american air force in cabability, but i wonder if they have the weaponry. On a side note i m not sure they have 24 SU 30MK (1/2 ?), i known thy wanted to have 24. I think they have something like 12 SU 27 (something) that where delivered first + at least 4 Mk30MK(x) At least this was the case middle year of 2010.

|Thanks Lawdart, Since i m building a cockpit, and the TV will be near (probably little more than armreach, wouldn t a 40" be an overkill ? Ummm price diference ain t a problem, but space is.. so 1 vote for 32" i think.

That part of the counseling i m hoping to solve i m actually 50-50, i can t solve it geek wise.

Hi i am planning, still and ever, a simple generic cockpit to better enjoy sims. Now i am in doubt: 27" 16:10 monitor or 32" 1080p LCD Tv are the same price, around 750 to 850 USD. (Remember i don t live in europe or USA, hence the price.) 27" is thebiggest monitor i can encounter, and above 32 is an overkill for price and use IMHO, since it probably will be used as monitor only. I need your opinion. Actually with my 22" 16:9 monitor i have a really hard time reading labels and clearly seeing the target for slewing, without TIR it would be near impossible, but even with TIR and zoom i have to "neck dance" which is annoying and cut SA to ribbons. The 22" will be used to export MFD and instruments as i have TM MFD frame, So which one, in your opinion would be better. Someone said me 32 it tooooo biiig. But i m not sure. Thank you in advance.

Long enought to call all the dictators (plainly direct or hidden ones) for a conference upon Nuke energy and make it blow as fast as i can.

Interesting of some people are bashing DCS for its sterile environment and lack of DC. I think that there always will be people looking at sims mostly for the DC after F4 and DID TAW. i really hope DCS get there, it would be much freater longevity to the modules.

Just take a sword and cut them to ribbons just to train honong blade skill. Its cheaper than a bullet and you end up with something usefull. Such people should be virused until HD fry in great balls of fire.

It seem the problem is as it has been sayd: the rate of failure is correct, incorrect is the severity of the failure. IRL there s a range beetween 0 and 100% in DCS it doesn t seem so, its binary: Working - Fubar. @GG then the rate of failure must be diminished. If you can t model partial failures, you can t also model fubar failure at partial failure rate.

No translation error, just a very witty, and well placed, comment i would have expected from english acid, monthy pytonic, humour. The translation error would be more: " The A10 can take very LITTLE ad still go very far"... quite fun.

ALLthought i would be happy to have some non US military in DCS, SINCE it cames to F something. I welcome the F18 only because of naval ops. But if after F18 its still some US hardware i ll buy it formely by respect. I m really tired of Fsomething (except F14). Since A10 FC doesn t cut it much anymore, it already didn t cut it much because of F4 (even if i was never a ace on F4 and sloooooowly learning F4). As DC i understand its tuff and hard, DCS is doing good steps forward as the instant randomic mission. I hope it will be implemented (not necessarily in F18)because if there s no DC, and a US plane it ll be installing for grafic upgrade only.

Do not worry, the leasing has the primary condition: "To be sent back to me when the leased doesn t want them anymore" So if you come with a USB solution count me in!

Monitor setup: 1 large screen <vs> 3 small screens
Succellus replied to Frazer's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It seems yes, it will after adjustement. I m am running DCS on a 16:9, FOV aint the problem, the problem is getting the damn details on the LCD (ingame) and trying to read labels on the panels (onbviously i don t have them on my head). For that i think a greater 1 big (i m actually 22) screen flanked by 2 smaller "portrait" monitors maybe the best solution: One big screen to read them all, two portrait screen to find them, One nice system to run them up in high framerate and with the A10C send opfor back where the Shadows lie. :D (i tryed) -
LOL !!!! My bad. Well its Hall Sensors All around after all ! :D Not a glitch, absolutely perfect !!! I "Leased" the cougar to a friend, and all the sensors from the Stick, throttle and "the so much trouble it gave you first" RCS mod are perfect, no better rudders in the market. A pitty they aren t USB. The only thing is a big play due to overuse in the middle :) of the stick, but nothing related to the hall sensors. Now i got WT and Saitek pedals, the Saitek stuff isn t as good by far but i like them. Thank you for the great work! God to see you kicking too, +1 rep in name of the comunity for honorable and priceless serviçe in duty :D

Succellus replied to Succellus's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Wedge check page 2or 3 of this thread i think its Teej, he hooked a small lithium battery to the track ir pro to juice it (USB only for that purpose) so he got fully wireless - Track ir Pro + Headset. -
