Kameraden, I am looking for suggestions related to Graphic Settings for my system, my signature has the details. I have not flown the simulation for awhile now and am just getting back into it. Out of the box, I selected the High Preset and would like to entertain discussions on tweaks. I am using the latest Nvidia drivers and also have Nvidia Inspector installed. Did a quick search on the forums and found information for older versions of the game (Legacy). Right now I am running the v1.53 Beta. Thanks in advance. S!

+1 Messing up my view of the cockpit.

A challenge for sure and you can not get lazy or it will bite you. Right now I am about 50-50 after 3 days, seem to have more success not using full power but maxing it at 2500 rpm. Think the X65-F is working against me as going from locked position for tailwheel is to abrupt.

Hat's off to the SF support group, we got this one fixed in four quick emails. SHIII no longer uses the SF popup box that caused the issue.

My FC SF install is ok, it's my SHIII SF install that is causing my system fits. I recently did a complete reinstall and it continues to happen. I have a Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2 and when the Starforce box comes up that checks (whatever it checks), I get this horrible sound through my speakers that I've only had during full system lockups. Very high pitched and it just sounds terrible. Almost sure it's related to the IDE scan. 50% of the time my system locks solid and I have to unplug it, the other 50% it just hangs and comes back after 20 or 30 seconds. I should note that my FC SF install is the downloaded version. SHIII is the DVD version. Last time Tech Support just disabled the check after a couple of weeks of troubleshooting. Going back that way again I think.

Hola, As per the fixes section, I recently changed hard drives and did a fresh install of LOMAC / Flaming Cliffs. I have the downloaded copy. Should I have installed the Client Network Game Stuttering Fix after v1.1 and before v1.11 or is it included? Thanks in advance.

Nic was a top notch fellow, when I ran into delivery problems he was right on top of it and we turned a bad situation into a positive one. Very tragic loss for the family. He'll be missed.

But SF has different products with different functions.

Can someone confirm that Starforce Copy Protection for v1.1 will only check that the software I have downloaded is being used on the original machine I installed it on? I have another recently released software title and I'm having lockup's when SF checks the CD when the Copy Protection box pop's up. Strange thing is, if I use the popup Menu when inserting the disc it's fine, if I use a shortcut, blamo !!! Have to cycle power.

Correct - it should be at the user level. Don't pirate stuff :wink: Hey, that was easy . . . . . Excellent. Does Pirating equal lost revenue? Would the people doing the Pirating be customers anyway? I suspect that type of person, is not the character type to spend time learning a complex game like Lockon. Don't go Apetit on me it's an observation.
