  1. How to drop mk.82 with Backup Fixed Sight? I'm able to turn it on and set mils but I have not figure out to make the bombs drop yet and I couldn't find it neither on the manual or Chuck's guide... Any help will be appreciated! EDIT: Got the answer on Discord: 1) Arm bombs 2) Selective jettison switch to SEL But there is a bug at the time of this writing that will make the backup sight disappear from the VTH when the Jet Sel swicth is on SEL
  2. nullThese are my current mappings. I'm using both bumpers as modifiers and have them mapped (on my controller) to the paddles. I am also using reWASD to deal with the triggers.
  3. I modified one of the extension ( sorry, forgot who posted it original but full credits goes to the author, not me). I have not managed yet to modify the buttons after they are created, but that is just a cosmetic issue. Attached is my current version of the full QWERTY keyboard. null KeyBoard_QWERTY3.lua
  4. Folks, I've been looking at adding some functionality to the base code to allow editing buttons . My goal is to simulate the "shift" and "caps" keys, but that piece of the code is still a bit beyond me. I used scratch pad as a virtual keyboard in VR (using copy and paste) from within DCS to key in passwords, F10 markers names, etc. This is my current KB: Of course, I would like to reduce the size with the shift and caps functionality ... Another idea I have... Is it possible for Scratchpad to change flag values and populate in-mission scripts variables (sort of a buffer)... This integration with in-mission scripts would allow for an ad-hoc UI for scripts instead of using F10 menus or the F10 marker method) to input values (think of entering target coordinates for an artillery attack).
  5. Not from the Quest UI but apparently it can be done from the application side (DCS) via code... At least that's what I got from a google search
  6. Not sure that I understand your question. Please, elaborate.
  7. @Flappie I found another module with a similar issue. In the Gazelle, if the sight is deployed and you lean forward so the headset "touches" the sight, the it retracts.
  8. Take a look at https://github.com/OpenKneeboard/OpenKneeboard It is a fantastic companion tool for Scratchpad in VR
  9. Thanks, I'll give it a try
  10. Is there a way to reduce the reflections in the instruments? The screenshot was taken in 2D but in VR, they look worse null
  11. The uninstall / reinstall worked BTW....
  12. Getting this error, on launch, after the 2.5.5 beta installation... Since it mentions corruption, I'll uninstall it and try from scratch...
  13. The rest of the pictures I took: Cell phone camera and dirty window... DCS looks very off to me....
  14. I flew over the Hoover dam yesterday, IRL, at about 33,000ft (according to the pilot). Today, I did the same in DCS. Set the mission date time to match with my fly. Here are the results: null
  15. No worries... I'm guilty of that too!
  16. It does happens on the ground to. Tested with today's patch (2.8.0.32235.1) 1.trk
  17. Hello, the scripts are not map dependent. I used it in all the maps. Are you doing an air start with a player skill? If so, change that to "client" and if possible, start from an airfield. null
  18. Sadly, I spoke too soon... It is still happening. Now, yesterday, if I recall correctly, I tested hot a runway...Today I did an air start, set autopilot and exercised my neck a little, soon, I ejected Not sure if the ground vs air matter, but I'll test that
  19. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue in 2.8... I am cautiously optimist that it has been fixed!
  20. you just select (click on) the unit that you want to control in the F10 map and its control interface appears lif you own Combine Arms and have this selected:
  21. Combine Arms Module... If you own it, you can control ground units from the cockpit. Very easy user interface to use and very usable in VR without a keyboard (controlling the artillery from the F10 map). This is what I use. Script wise, the Moose class that buur posted looks really nice on paper (I'll probably will give it a try)... But since it relies on F10 markers (like, most likely any artillery out there) it requires the use of the keyboard (which might be an issue for some VR users)
  22. The easy button is Combine Arms ...
  23. Spent 10 minutes trying to reproduce the issue with the A-4E, both handles (in between the legs and top - which doesn't seem to be clickable, but just in case...) and was unable to.
