  1. In openkneeboard (which doesn't care about SP/MP) you can add a tab to display the radio log...Again, it would be nice for the tool to be native...But I'm not holding my breath on it
  2. While it would be really cool to have this natively, there is a current way to do it: Scratch Pad https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344152/ And if you combine it with Openkneeboard, it is even better.
  3. (apologies, did not see a forum wish list) 1) I would like a way to ignore complete threads. There are some currently in the forum that have a lot of activity and the take a lot of the real state when using the "all activity" tab. 2) Currently, when we ignore an user, we still see that they posted something. Ideally, I will like to not see that, they are ignored for a reason. And, of course, if there is a current way of doing this, please, let me know!
  4. On 2.9.18.12722 , behavior was changed to return values as per the change logs and forums post... This was then reversed on hotfix 2.9.18.12899. Returning nil seems like a consistent behavior to me, but that particular tidbit was not spelled out in the change log or in the forum post about this (granted, I did not read all the thread)
  5. The only one who can is the author of the campaign. https://forum.dcs.world/forum/1286-f-16c-arctic-thunder-campaign/
  6. By human, looks like it.... Error? Don't know... Hope so...
  7. That's called mixed reality and it is indeed a possibility ... I tested it briefly and found that, for me, it doesn't bring much to the table and it did break my immersion... But, with a 1 to 1 cockpit and the proper environment it would work (for me, I think)... I also tested hand tracking with and without PointCtrl and found, that for me, it required either no devices around or that the bare minimum (stick and throttle) were set in a 1 to 1 configuration, because, if they aren't, they will get in the way to operate the virtual buttons, levers or switches... Of course if I only flight one aircraft, that would be relatively easy to accomplish, but it is really difficult when flying two or more. For you, perhaps, not for me, and, I'm sure we both will find other fellows that agree with either (or none!) of us. How we experience DCS and how we expect it to entertain us is a very personal experience. YMMV
  8. I even switch aircrafts in the same session! Moving the throttle assembly to the side and bring up the collective assembly it the only thing I change when switching wing types
  9. I fly only in VR, multiple fixed and rotary wing aircraft and I do not have a 1 to 1 setup. I use a simpit and hand controllers and it is very comfortable! The JetSeat even give me massages! Simpit buttons and switches are used when I am NOT looking, while the hand controllers when I'm looking. Zero immersion kill for me. A 1 to 1 setup would be cool but I do not have the space or the money to make one for every module I fly...And it would be easier to list the ones I don't: I-16, MiG-19 and Christen Eagle. At the end of the day, do what is best for you.
  10. 70 fps...per eye... Remember that for VR 2 sightly different frames are needed
  11. It is indeed brilliant and I wish I could claim the credit but it goes to @SorelRo... He posted about it in his F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign. Share the mass/skill values please... I'll do the same when I get to test it.
  12. The "UFO effect" can, usually, be mitigated by adding mass using setUnitInternalCargo ... The skill level is a factor in determining how much it needs but it is a trial and error process.
  13. Excel and some trigonometry can give you that, but it will not be enough since you also need to be at the right speed at the release altitude, which is function of your entry speed (at roll in) and how many g's you pull in the roll in (plus throttle position, drag fact and who knows what else...). Also, it assumes that you have a way to determine the distance to target. Another way to do it id using cockpit/canopy/wing references... Put the target at the reference position, at a given altitude and speed and pull the same g's in the roll in every time. Attached is an old kneeboard I generated a while ago...
  14. Right click stations 7 & 5... The tiny tim are there...Bat bomb is on 6. null
  15. I don't see any there Parent folder has one Their MiG-21 has the same folder structure btw... (Shapes folder in the parent, none in "Cockpit")
  16. How to control the mouse cursor in DCS is a very subjective experience and your overall setup matters. I have a dedicated simpit and I've tried using a traditional mouse, trackballs, trackpads, hand tracking, VR controllers (Quest 2 & 3) and a set of PointCtrl... For me, VR Hand controllers works best, but I echo @Hempstead advise, try then and form your own opinion.
  17. Looking good! Looking forward to it and the updated version of the T-45!
  18. Cool! I was typing this script using moose (untested) : Posting it as a starting point if you or anybody else wants to used it... I'll probably add it to my library just in case Checking speeds is a lot easier ... Sometime the first idea is not the best
  19. My pleasure... That was a quick idea and not knowing the context (but I assume it is about the training mission of the T-45C ) and toolbox used (native, mist or moose), although it should be doable with all. Good luck! @Rudel_chw Another one.. If any of the speeds (GSmost likely) you can get for the plane, matches the carrier's , then they are not moving...
  20. Would checking distance variation from carrier to plane work? That would have to be in a loop and require an initial/prior position, sorta asking has it moved since I last checked?
  21. The prior version was posted on 4/27/25... I touched the Hook script after for the Viggen
