  1. Let's see how this work: In all cases I was looking directly at the top of the tower 1.trk 2.trk 3.trk HMD Issue.miz
  2. Ok. That assumes a cold and dark scenario and yes, you would be correct in that case it could be, easily user error... But in a hot start it would perfectly aligned so an incorrect alignment procedure wouldn't be a factor, right? I'll try to add a track / screenshot later today or tomorrow: Hot start, on the ground, looking at a well define object.
  3. Honest question: Can you determine from a track file where the HMD is pointing to? Or where the center of the physical headset is pointing to? If so, we could setup a mission, look to a particular object (head level and object 'centered' in the line of vision ) so you can grab something useful from the track file. I think this has been done with screenshot, but if that helps you somehow, I can do it.
  4. @BIGNEWY Sorry, I fail to see how a track would help here. This is the same Quest 3 too high issue that had been reported multiple times in the past 2 or 3 years with different modules that had a helmet mounted sight. Here are a couple of the threads: This is a physical headset issue that can be only solved by making the HMD adjustable in the special options of the respective module, like the BS3 has.
  5. Since we now have user deployable RSBM / PRMG systems in the sim, can we have a deployable ILS? https://www.icao.tv/thales/videos/thales-atm-d-ils
  6. Confirmed. Created new mission: Single (to rule out taxi interreference) veteran AI Harrier at Batumi, take of from parking, with a few waypoints including a landing one. Plane goes to runway, nozzles to 10° and seems to me adding power but moves only inches at the most. Seems to be stuck in the runway.

  8. 250914A (September, 14th 2025) - Support for UH-60L 2.0 mod added. Support for prior version of the mod deprecated https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344152/
  9. The question is about if is is working (as is not broken), not if it is supported…
  10. So... Went ahead and did a sanity check before making changes and found that I was able to reproduce the issue in 2D and SP, which seems to indicate that it is something in my client PC. Then I deleted the fxo and metashaders2 folders to no effect. Decided to double check everything before reverting versions (since it was working fine after the last update). First, I turned the PC off and booted again to go into the BIOS (PC is turned off every night). Nothing changed there as expected, but "saved" and exited the BIOS anyway. Tested DCS again and problem went away... So, I'm scratching my head a little bit...
  11. Thanks, will try later today
  12. My wingman and I had been flying a particular mission for the last couple of weeks in my dedicated server. Until yesterday we both had excellent performances. Today, however, with no changes to my PC (DCS client), the mission or the dedicate server , my performance tanked while my wingman's remained unchanged... My dedicated server is in my LAN, 1ms ping, my wingman connects from the outside of my LAN. My SP performance is excellent but when I connect to any mission in my server , I get a slide show. I'm at a lost at the moment on how to approach the situation since I don't want to have a kneejerk reaction and changes configurations anywhere but ran out if ideas on how to troubleshot. Performance drop is apparent right at the start, in the join coalition screen, regardless of the complexity of the mission... Both machines were rebooted a couple of times each... I don't see any connectivity issue in my LAN... No windows update in the client or server, no driver changes and no AV software changes either. So, please, if you have an idea on what to look at, share it...
  13. 3 years and 3 variants...
  14. Have you seen a telephone pole (SA-2) coming at your face yet?
  15. LOL... Welcome to the darkside! We have cookies... And unlimited settings tweaking sessions!
  16. My only objection to this thread is calling this content "bloatware". Poor choice of words.. Now, as for making the handful of GBs of content optional (10-15Gb if I read the OP correctly)... Is it really worth the dev time and gained complexity for such a small gain? Because, I can see the complains already for the additional bugs in the installer and because the dev are dedicating time to this and not "that" feature or the "other"... null
  17. What you call "bloatware" is not. It is not unnecessary (for me, an other who had posted here at the very least) and therefore it does not match the definition of bloatware. At best, or worst, depending on the point of view, it should be optional content.
  18. Hold shift while moving it
  19. Yeah... ED Just keep up working hard and gives us the stuff for free... /sarcasms in case it flew over your heads...Pun definitely intended. Can't wait for the PTO , Hellcat and Zero... My wallet is READY
  20. It was definitely the amount of menu entries... Had to rearrange some mission flows to fix. My estimate is the the dedicated server supports only between 10 and 20% of the total menu items supported by the client.
  21. There might be something to this... Just did a quick test limiting the number or "missions" displayed in the menu to 1 per category and it does render the menus correctly... I will do some more testing and analysis tomorrow. Puzzling things is that the standalone client has not issues and the dedicate server does... Perhaps the menu rendering code is not the same. (BTW, my client PC and dedicated server differ only in GPU and total HD size)
  22. Negative... Just tried that and switching slots while connected AFTER a slow repair of the server.... Thanks for the idea!
  23. I have one mission that generates a complex menu using scripts, it works as designed in SP and local MP but when launched in a dedicated server, the menus are no generated correctly. Both, client machine and dedicated server, are at the same patch level. No errors in the DCS log and bread crumb tracing indicates that the menus are generated in the same way in both computers...This is how is should look and how it looks in SP & local MP: Now, this is how it looks in the Dedicate Server: Now, I have done some testing (simplified mission, different map) that seems to indicate that this is not a general DCS MP bug but an issue related either with the mission or my dedicated server, but I ran out of ideas at the moment of what to check or how to troubleshoot further, so , if you have any ideas or pointers, please, let me know.
  24. I seldom use the ingame kneeboard all but current position and dynamically generated slides can be placed in openkneeboard, in the right place (VR at least) and with dual kneeboards... This is my Openkneeboard controller.... Not relly sure why you mention that it is challenging to adjust the position? Once you have them where you want, they stay there... And you can always "re-center" them if needed with the press of one button... Anyway... Sorry for the hijack... I definitely would support this functionality as native.
