  1. you can search the User files at DCS http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ Also try Lockonfiles.com http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/files/ You might also want to look at youtube
  2. With TGP and Waypoints - If the TGP targeting is done by Waypoint, some waypoints are in the air.
  3. I had built a mission with A-10C heights of 5000m, but the waypoints on ground targets are in the air. I went into the CDU | Waypoint 3 and, using the scratchpad, entered 0m as the height That worked fine for Waypoint 3 but all other waypoints are affected - but I only want Waypoint3 to be ground based SOmeone mentioned using a Markpoint(it'll be ground-height) but I want it to work with the current waypoint system
  4. I've put together a tutorial for that - ABRIS Map Marking But I tend to use the ERBL functions more - ERBLs - In-Flight Tool
  5. Have you loaded the BS1.0 mission into BS2 and then quickly File | Save As... ??
  6. I usually keep them far apart But if you activate Units/Groups correctly, you'll have lots of things happening For atmosphere I sometimes explode buildings and units
  7. Can you go into the Options Controls and RE-MAP the END MISSION Key? Test it and then maybe re-map it back again
  8. I'm not at my flying PC but I thought there was an language option on the Options screen
  9. A mission with a medium difficulty - it's a night mission for the A-10C with no JTAC support There two versions - Ramp-start and runway-start After the Russians lose the town of Chikola in the Republic of North Ossetia, the remaining enemy Russian forces are making their escape to the west. Primary Objectives: Track down escaping enemy forces. They are most like fleeing down a valley west of Chikola heading to Tashly-Tala. Lesken to the north is also a possible refuge for them Secondary Objective: The escaping forces will be covered by a screen of Shilkas. Destroy the screen. Good Replayability - unzip into Missions folder There is a blog-entry on the things I learned doing this Enjoy a10_ChikolaNightHunt.zip
  10. It is a bug - not in the game but the Mission Editor being able to add the Point There is a work-around Load a functioning stock mission with a INU point in it already - and then File... Save As... There's another method - but it requires Unzipping the .miz file and inserting the proper code - :book:  :renske: :surrender:
  11. Actually I already did this mission - with tthe KH-25ML Leaser Designated missiles loaded See my Blog-entry
  12. I don't mind people making versions of my missions - The BlackShark community is small enough so that it's not a major problem. But please note in the Credits section(at bottom) that it's a different version Modified by dsobbe - added secondary target I cannot help someone about some problem in a mission that I never put in there and maybe never heard of.
  13. See my Lines and Boxes on ABRIS Map Tutorial It's exactly what you need. I'm blogging on the Black Shark and now the A10-C with various topics and mission making is one way to generate blogging content I used the tutorial on my 1st published Ka-50 mission - Coast Runners Enjoy
  14. Found a work-around for a Bullseye I was flying the =4c= multiplayer server, they had Operation Snakehead loaded And they just declatred Waypoint 3 as the Bullseye If I throw in some lines in the ABRIS - we would have a pretty solid Bullseye reference point
  15. Does Black Shark 1.0.2 have a Bullseye system? - I do not see it in the GUI manual Can one be entered in the ABRIS system? I'm creating a mission where the Pilot is given locations of moving troops that he is to hunt down I can use the Longitude/Latitude method (in conjunction with the ERBL functions) but having a bullseye is easier
  16. Are you referring to this Sharkpit - it looks like it was updated to BS version 1.0.1 Here's a page for Dragon's version of TangioRomeo's Sharkpit - I think he did a version 3 - I do not know if it is BS V1.0.2
  17. A mission with a medium difficulty - you are flying into the teeth of some weak air defences Ochamchira along the coast of north-west Georgia has been over-run by our troops and allied forces. 1) Destroy escaping Georgian convoys 2) Destroy the Command Bunker at the edge of Meore-Guadwara by putting a few missiles into it There will be AAA emplacements along the Coast you will have to watch out for. The coastal area and the Bunker will be marked in your ABRIS I have also made a Making-Of Blog-Entry at my BlackShark Blog - don't worry - no spoilers Yellow Line is the front-line between Russian (and russian-allied forces) and Georgian forces Poti_001_CoastRunners.zip
  18. I noticed your sig matched your answer Aerodynamics is a very complicated thing | | | |
  19. R.CTRL + NUMPAD-Zero and then Numpad-4 or Numpad-6
  20. You are probably referring to the Lighting texture problem - when the cockpit lights are on there's an error in the PVI-800 Navigation Panel light switches See my Black Shark Blog Entry Please check if that is the case for you I also mention a problem with the INU Fix Point in the Mission Editor.
  21. I like using the Escort to try and keep my fighter cover near my A-10C's rather than roaming the skies But when a an enemy interceptor gets too close, I want to trigger an Attack-Group AI Task Anyone know how to do it - the ME does not give me the Attack Group option with Escorts
  22. Is that for the copy/pasting Text or for copy/pasting Units I'm used to doing it for text - especially when re-naming Units
  23. I think there are further things that need to be done by Eagle Dynamics in the DCS engine and Mission Editor to increase Randomness Vary the vehicle speed. There should be an option that gives a random plus/minus on the speed of enemy groups. So they are not exactly at the same place at the same time - unless the mission designer wants it that way. There are some random things you can do with flags, but a better solution is to vary the spawn time by using Random Times (in seconds or minutes) Under certain triggered conditions, vary the speed of the enemy group. For example when the A-10 gets too close, increase/decrease the speed of the target convoys. There is already some variability with AI Off/On Triggered Actions, but extra changes in speed would not hurt.
  24. How effective is the Load Mission Action in BlackShark? You can look at that
