I made a backup of my saved games folder and let DCS rebuild it and it works now. Everyone thanks for the input appreciate it J
-
Mouse double click does not work only thing I have not tried is to rename saved games folder and let it rebuild. I already did the slow repair plus delete extra files.

I have the same settings. I uninstalled the F14 and reinstalled it but still the same
-
yes I will ck my settings

If I choose F2 or F6 I am unable to pan the view around with the mouse. It will pan if I use the keypad Panning around works fine in my other modules. I have done a short repair and a long one with the option to remove extra files Thank You J

Meta Quest 3 v74 and VD equal FPS drop randomly
Tomcat388th replied to Macheten's topic in Virtual Reality
Also on VD Discord there are a few new posts that V74 has another update and has fixed the problem. -
When I updated to windows 11 it would install their generic amd gpu drivers even thought I downloaded amd's drivers and installed them. Unistall with DDU then reinstall amd's and on the next boot up back to windows drivers. I finally found the setting to keep windows from doing that had to google it. That was a problem that I ran into took a bit to figure out. Win10 did not do that to me. May not be related to your problem but thought I would post just in case

Recommended spec for dedicated server?
Tomcat388th replied to Lace's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
No expert here but I would think if it had to access the hdd for much info you might see a stutter or pause in mission but I really don't know. I just upgrade my server from SSD to a Nvme I did notice a faster load time but that was it. -
I believe it's V74 dont have the full number. I'm still on the latest 72

Over on Virtual Desktop Discord site. A couple of users have mentioned after getting the headset updated that they have stutters now. I don't know if it is user error, setup or computer. But thought I would mention it just in case. J

the PC side cannot go full screen with VR

One thing is to make sure your display resolution on the dcs settings matches what your monitor is set at -
F-35A Announcement discussion mega thread.
Tomcat388th replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
As much as I love DCS and if its another chance to bring in more money thats where the priority will go. I know bills and people have to be paid just seems like a lot of stuff get forgotten about once a new module gets started -
If OTT has been working and not giving you any problems no need to change. There was something with my system that just trashed it I would have to reinstall the program from time to time. As for the different PD settings that was something that had been posted here on DCS a long time ago when I first got my quest 2 and I was happy with the results but you could probably just set the oculus to 1.0 and bump up the traytool PD a bit and get the same effect. I run a quest pro now I bounce back and forth between link cable and Virtual desktop just to compare the two. J
-
Here are the settings when I used my quest 2. Oculus tray tool always gave me fits and would get corrupted and loose it settings. Another thing that comes to mind is when this starts happening is the headset getting low on battery power? I have a powered aftermarket link cable that charges while you play and rarely does my headset get below 80%

Fullscreen on desktop monitor while in VR
Tomcat388th replied to warmachine79's topic in Virtual Reality
On the DCS setting config tab make sure the resolution matches to what your monitor is set to. Plus the full screen option on that page also I believe -
Ele Com brand model ex-g It was a cheapo from amazon it is right handed configuration with 4 clickable buttons and track wheel. It sits right beside my win wing joystick J

I use a track ball mouse I find it very steady for clicking switches

We saluted a few times after we were ready trying to get some action for the deck crew
-
Not sure where to post this. 9 of us tried to launch and the cat crew never tried to taxi us. We all saluted plane captain gave us the signal to start. As each of us got ready we saluted again and there we set. No statics on the carrier that I'm aware of I did not build the miz. So I'm not sure if its a us problem or if its a SC problem. I have my dcs slider set to 95 and with openxr toolkit I lock my frames to 45. I'm also using Virtual Desktop with the 90hz setting. I get really smooth gameplay SP and MP my specs are in my sig. When I left everything at 90 and have the dcs fps showing I would see the stutter/skip if it dipped down in the upper50's or low 60's and back up to 90. With it locked at 45 I rarely get anything at all. On the FPS monitor staight fps line and the frame time line is really tiny zigzags. Don't know it it helps or not but thought I would post Happy New Year everyone J
