I use the 4YA Syria server as my test bed for tweaking my VR it really works my mid range system. Have no idea what they run in the back ground for scripts. If I can run fairly smooth on it I'm pretty well golden anywhere else. My system is in my signature. J

Dont know if this makes a difference or not but the recommend Virtual Desktop GPU driver for 30/40 series card is 566.36. J

Title says it all. I've locked out my updates awhile back and I'm on ver 79. something with Virtual Desktop. Just curious if the latest V81 is safe to upgrade to or are there any problems with it. I read for awhile with people have trouble with charging and link cable not being recognized with some of the other updates. using a quest pro Thank J

Here is the crayon drawing of my set up. I'm using an older asus router RT-AC68U 2.5/5GH with starlink as my internet provider. The 2.5 runs my tv's and laptops and the 5gh channel is strictly for my quest pro. I have been very happy with this setup but for best gameplay you will need the router ethernet connection. Over on Virtual Desktop Discord site the devs are topnotch in helping troubleshoot. I'm running a quest pro , 5800x3d,64 ram with a 6950xt. And lastly they have a recommended driver list for GPU's brands for us it 25.3.1 I have tried some of the newer releases and have had stuttering and tracking issues with virtual desktop J

This doesnt really add to anything but I do find 4ya servers really task a system at least in my case. I tune my VR/DCS on their Syria USA server. If I can get decent performance, there I'm pretty well golden everywhere else J

I think Super Carrier is a dead horse anymore. Would really be surprised if anything major gets done to it in the future if you pin anyone down you get the ole "it's being worked on" and hopefully you will go away. They made their profit and have moved on to the other projects. It would be nice if they turned the code loose to the community and let them tweak/fix it. Maybe I'm wrong would be nice either way it is what it is J

Glad you got it figured out. I'm slowly contemplating an upgrade when my retirement kicks in next year. Getting tired of Meta's update screwing the pooch for everyone. Have them locked out for now. Running a 5800x3d quest pro 6950xt with virtual desktop. Happy with the balance of gameplay and visuals but always wanting more J

I have no idea if this will help or even applies to you. I remember a Youtube vid byJay2cents he does computer reviews and such. With the newer AMD X3D cpu's you needed to have windows 11 power plan set to Balanced. If you have high performance it holds back the cpu.. Easy enough to try J

I'm going to ask a stupid question does it work on DCS stand alone or is this strictly for Steam. Thanks J

@BIGNEWY Sorry for ruffling your feathers but it's frustrating. Especially when you see downloads listed in this post from outside users/modders from a couple of years ago that still works now with the latest build of DCS, not perfect but usable.

I found out you can but a windows tab in open kneeboard. Its not perfect but its usable

Virtual Desktop has the hotkey option to swap monitors has anyone had any luck doing this in DCS. I was hoping to be able to swap to the monitor that has Discord on when needed vs peekout from under my quest pro. I asked over on Virtual Desktops Discord but we didn't have any luck. The hotkeys do work but just not in DCS. Thanks J

deleted QuadViews couple of slow repairs of DCS reinstalled QV's .Eyetracking is working now on Link and Virtual Desktop again.

I ll double check eye tracking does work with link cable but just not Virtdesktop

Title says it all DCS runs fine but no eyetracking with Virtual Desktop. I have checked and the forward data to PC is checked. Quest is on version78.1027 on the headset QPro. The xri layer tab in DCS show quadviews first then necksaver and open kneeboard J

There is a battery saver option that I have heard limits fps. Not sure which menu its under in the headset menu itself. J

@BIGNEWY @NineLine Have not seen much info on any SC updates or tweaks here in a bit any new news seems like its dead in the water again or have I missed anything. J

I made a backup of my saved games folder and let DCS rebuild it and it works now. Everyone thanks for the input appreciate it J

Mouse double click does not work only thing I have not tried is to rename saved games folder and let it rebuild. I already did the slow repair plus delete extra files.

I have the same settings. I uninstalled the F14 and reinstalled it but still the same

If I choose F2 or F6 I am unable to pan the view around with the mouse. It will pan if I use the keypad Panning around works fine in my other modules. I have done a short repair and a long one with the option to remove extra files Thank You J

when using the debug tool you have to hit the enter key for it to take at first. it will show 1.500000 then once you click another cell it will show1.5 OpenXR is what you want

Also on VD Discord there are a few new posts that V74 has another update and has fixed the problem.
