I had a similar problem found out windows was putting my usb ports to sleep when flying in DCS. Only happened with DCS any other game worked fine. Go into device manager and under the properties for each of your usb ports/hubs tell windows not to put them to sleep or something like that. Should be able to find it in a google search

Its possible it could be something with your Virpil there are a couple of older post in the DCS Virpil forum where a person had to update their hotas firmware. Winwing had a similar issue with their software it kept polling the game for info and causing stuttering. At the time most people just made sure the program didn't start and windows startup. Hope you get it figured out J

I'm on the latest version of DCS but here are some screen shots of my Q Pro settings with link cable if they help any. On the debug tool screen it shows ASW as auto but I usually have it disabled. In the open xr toolkit I run CAS and I throttle my frame rates to 45. Only other thing that comes to mind is do a DCS slow repair and if there was an app for the blue tooth headphones added remove it.

I'm always comparing oculus usb link and virtual desktop. VD on the A2A page radar elevation text was always fuzzy, not that you could not read it but just not as crisp as the link cable. Not sure which one helped but it seems to be better, now curious to see if anyone has seen an improvement J

I picked up a used 6950xt last year from ebay for around 300 to replace my 6700xt been very happy with it. When ever I shop ebay I try to pick sellers that accept returns worst case I have to pay return shipping. J

So your running fine with V63 on the QP and Oculus PC software. My PC app has not updated yet still on 62. something QP is 63 so I'm still able to use link cable but have Virtual Desktop to fall back on if needed. J

I just hope the team can find a good balance of realism and gameplay for the middle of the road computer systems. I'd be happy as heck the team would just get the cats and jbd's with what we got for MP. I dont know if this can be done but say your lined up on cat 3 and the plane director is ignoring you. Have a menu option for resetting cat 1,2,3 or 4 @BIGNEWY Thanks for getting back J

I didn't see fixes or improvements for SC in the latest patch. Any new news?

I use the oculus debug tool to tweak my link cable settings plus I do use open xr tool kit with CAS upscaling enabled and you can also adjust the color settings for a better overall dcs world enviroment.

I'm using the 5800X3D for VR and have been pleased with the results J

I understand the options for the large medium and small on the 120 parameters but what does Auto and Man do or is it even modeled? Thanks J

Here are the settings I ran with my quest 2 that gave me a good balance of visuals and gameplay. At the time this was with a 6700xt vid card. On the DCS VR page the IPD setting scales the size of the cockpit. My setting is usually to large for most people but it keeps me from having to wear my cheater glasses to read the mfd's. J

For some reason OTT hates my system no idea why. As for the IPD 30 this keeps me from having to wear cheater glasses so I can read the txt on the mfds in the hornet/ viper. and I did notice it only effects the cockpit J

Aleader Here are some screen shots of my quest 2 settings these ran really well with my 6700xt gpu. I cant remember if you were using OTT or oculus debug tool at but I use the debug tool to tweak a couple of settings I always had trouble with OTT locking up or getting corrupted. Either way I run the open beta standalone MT via link cable IGNORE THE OPENXR TOOLS SLIDE NOT NEEDED THAT WAS WHEN I RAN A G2

@BIGNEWY thanks for keeping up with this. Here's one of our missions if the team needs to test with incase it something we are doing or how the mission is made. We have gone to using 2 carriers to try and help with this situation. We spawn into our jets start and load up once someone is ready they will get on SRS and let everyone know they are taxing to a specific cat and every one follow in the same way. One or two guys will get lucky and SC will hook them up even if we ask for request launch it usually doesnt work. This is with the latest open beta. I have brought this problem up a few times and would like to post a track but it ends up being a 1-2 hour miz and its to large. SC in my opinion with MP is a BUG FEST, SP it great everything works. Been hinted that the next SC update might be an improvement with the deck crew directing acft who knows? Had our Thursday4Jan24 night miz with only 6 of us spawning on the boat absolute crap show trying to get a cat to hook you up. @BIGNEWY Is there any update on when they might update SC and why no hotfix. I know you cant give specific dates and i wouldnt expect that.

A couple of our squad members are running the earlier 7000 series gpu's and have been happy with them in vr. I've been using a 6950xt for a couple of months now with my Quest Pro. I pretty well have everything locked in at 72fps these screen shots dont do it justice for what I see in VR J

QVFR as to not working in any mode usb link or Virtual desktop. On the virtual Desktop settings screen you have to have facial expressions checked also for it to work. As for comfort I found that if you remove the back head cushion and flip it 180 its way way more comfortable of the forehead that way. It's clipped on there pretty good but it will pop loose.

@Qcumber I have been using Virtual Desktop for about a month now for me I believe its on par compared to using usb link with my system. The only quirk I found when I first started using it was my MFD's text was blurry/fuzzy but everything else was nice and clear. I found out that using any of the upscaling options in the DCS settings was messing up the txt. I'm running god like at 72hz with my system. It is running really smooth at this point in time J
