  1. @VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants when you say you find it "not as noticeable" are you talking about being able to see the faint outline of the focus box or something else? When running on cable link I can make out the focus area at times looking up at the sky I dont see it as much with VD. I also use this program to tweak quad views settings. Its called Quad View Companion I believe it listed in ED's user file section. J
  2. As far as I know VD is wifi only but I could be wrong. I'm using an asus router wired into my computer with the oculus pro on the the 5Ghz wifi. Here are my settings on the computer app. On the VD menu in the headset I'm running 72hz with the asw disabled with ultra or godlike Thanks again J
  3. I get so confused with all the runtimes I thought VD was it own runtime I do see the option on one of the menu screens for launching Steam. I keep it as a backup in case link get messed up. Performance wise it right on par with link with my system now. The only thing that I notice is the text on the displays are not quite as crisp as link but still plenty clear @Jive @Mr_sukebe If you haven't done it already if you flip the back head pad 180 it really helps with taking all the pressure off of the forehead. It's clipped on there pretty good but it will pop loose.
  4. For the quad views/eye eyetracking to work. On the VD streaming tab menu that you pull up while in the headset. Select "Forward tracking data to PC".
  5. @Maddaawg I have always had troubles with the Tray Tool lossing its setting ,getting corrupt and not working so I have stuck with the Debug Tool. You may have already tried it this way but I'll post anyway just in case. This is how I change my bitrate if needed. As you can see in the screen shot I have notepad with the different bitrates and on the left Debug tool. On notepad highlight the bitrate then right mouse click and copy like you usually do. Then over on the debug tool left click the encode bitrate and backspace until blank Now hit Ctrl V to paste in your number. For some reason debug wont let you paste it in using the mouse no idea why Hope it helps J
  6. Our squad encountered this problem last thrusday on our mission night. Had a flight of 4 crash when they armed their laser .Poof they were gone. This was on the Syria map
  7. I have been really happy so far with it I bought it used of off ebay a couple of years ago. Its no 4090 but I think it does a pretty good job and I;m not really sure what it compares too with a nvidia card. I'm running it with a quest pro along with the eyetracking. I run it at 90hz and lock it down to 45fps and it runs really smooth. The rest of my spec are in my signature.
  8. Here are my the settings that I ran when I had my Q2 with a radeon 6700xt. The tweaks in the oculus debug really make things smooth and playable. Plus on the debug tool any number that you type in you have to hit the enter key for them to take. These were with the Q2 set at 72hz 1.2x on the slider 4480x2256 using the link cable. Also the DCS Config screen is from an older version I use no upscaling with the latest release
  9. These are the setting I use with my Q Pro via link cable I lock my framerate to 45 fps or enable force 45 with ASW on the debug tool. Very good visuals and really smooth SP & MP. Radeon 6950xt. The FOV Tangent Mult really helps with the FPS J
  10. no does not show instant when you come back to the page. I also have a IR Mav on that mission. If you fire up the mav and go back to the jdam it does not show instant on that page swap also but at least they explode.
  11. I broke one of my cardinal rules when ever a DCS patch come out I always do a slow repair and I did not this time. I read your post tried my mission dud bombs if I did not reselect efuse for the second drop. Ran the repair and they all go boom
  12. @Lord Vader Then I'm curious to what changed been flying the hornet the last 3 years and have trained this procedure to new guys that join the squad (332 AEW) and it didn't show up until the latest patch. I usually fly this miz 4 or 5 times a month. So has it been wrong the whole time and was fixed with the latest patch ? I looked through the patch notes and didn't see anything specific. And I do not have any info on how it should be working. Not arguing either way it just something that I noticed after the patch to why I had dud bombs on the second pass. What ever is right could the team pm their info would love to read up on it. Thanks J
  13. @Muchocracker If that's the case in the real hornet world I wonder how many dud bombs get dropped because they forgot to reset the fuse each time. I just cant imaging it being programed that way. Plus here is a track file I'm just selecting different weapons and each time I come back to the jdam efuse is off even after the bomb has been spun up and showing good Bomb fuse.trk
  14. @NineLine @BIGNEWY Was practicing finding sam sites with the harm and tgp with gbu 38's. When ever I went back to the harm too page then back to the gbu 38 i would have to reapply the efuze it would be off each time. This also applies to gbu12's. I did not check to see if this happens if you went to any other pages hsi, fpas and such and then back to a weapon. I'll put up a track later today but heres the miz that I was using J F18 Harm TGP Traing.miz
  15. Question to the smart people. In simple terms, "correct field of view submission" what does this mean? Will this help with performance any compared to what we have been using? J
  16. I believe it was either @BIGNEWY or @NineLine stated awhile back that this would hopefully be addressed when the new deck crew/directors get updated. I wish we had the key bind like pre SC as a backup to get us hooked up to the cat when the deck crew dont activate. It silly how long this bug has been going on, completely tanks MP most of the time. J
  17. @NineLine @BIGNEWY Hopefully this zip file works I posted it in the supercarrier forum but no reply if anyone even seen it. This is just me on our squads server. Deck crew will not hook me up tried cat 1 then cat 2 I backed out after that to save the track. I know your always needing track files so I hope it helps. This is with the Hornet.   19. @gonvise I'm in the same boat I do not see any option for the foveated or eyetracking in any of the toolkit menus while in VR I;m on version 1.3.2. I'm also using a amd gpu 6950xt if that make a difference. Thanks for any info J
  20. Like the title says horrible jitters/shaking seems to get worse as you look closer toward the hud. Quest pro with quad views rest of my specs listed below J

  22. I'll let you know how I feel about this delay in about 2 weeks while I run over the deck crew that wont launch me most of the time in MP.
  23. I'm on Starlink which is also CGNAT I ended up getting a dedicated IP with port forwarding through PureVPN that I use on my small server. And my server is nothing to brag about it an old dell t3600 workstation with a 3.2gh xeon cpu. But I have hosted up to 10 players on some simple training mission and it works fine.
