  1. Stuka? Stuuukaaaaa!!!!! :pilotfly:
  2. If you click on an airfield in F10 view you'll see the radio information. Towers use AM frequency.
  3. That is good news, and a testament to Razabam's team effort.
  4. Thanks for all your hard work! And I really appreciate your communication with us. Of course I'd rather see the Mirage today than later, but such is life.
  5. Maybe it's a Chandelle? IIRC Chandelle is 'candle' in french.
  6. I have an innocent muffin sitting here I'm ready and willing to mutilate it in the most brutal fashion if the Mirage is NOT released until 1800 CET. It's in your hands now! :pirate:
  7. I'm pretty sure if the Razbam team could give us an exact release date they would do it. It's not as if they're trying to annoy us on purpose. ;)
  8. Good news, thank you!
  9. The button solution is IMO the best choice.
  10. I know, just rattling the chains. ;) Besides, Zeus might just provide us with another bone. Like another vid. Or a couple of pages of the manual. Or a pic of scantily-clad mademoiselle reading the manual... :D
  11. Are we there yet? No? How about now? :joystick:
  12. 1.) Download the 2.0 Open Alpha installer. 2.) Start the 2.0 Open Alpha Installer and download the client 3.) Run 2.0, log into the module manager and check under DLC-Terrain Unless you bought the A-10C Beta you need to buy the Nevada terrain, it doesn't come free with 2.0.
  13. Pre-ordering gives you a discount compared to the price 'on release'. If you know you'll buy a module anyway you might as well pre-order it and get it cheaper.
  14. Thanks, much appreciated! The Mirage certainly is a nimble aircraft in the hands of a skilled pilots.
  15. That would be an instant pre-order for me, no matter the price.

    Thank you.
  17. For me it's pretty much always the same basic procedure: 1.) Cold start the aircraft, get to know the cockpit instrumentation and layout 2.) Taxiing, take off, simple navigation, landing 3.) basic weapons employment 4.) advanced navigation 4.) advanced weapons employment Learning tools are the official manuals, tutorial missions (if available), youtube tutorials, forum posts. I frequently write down procedures while learning both as a help in the future and to memorize actions

  19. Take-off with the 109 in DCS 2.0 is actually fairly easy once you understand what to do and what not to do. ;) I've put together a small vid, maybe it helps a bit:
  20. Teamspeak and Aries are amazing in DCS when flying in an organized group.
  21. Considering the installers for the 1.5 and 2.0 versions already were smart enough to copy large amount of data from the 1.2 installation I do hope it will work similar for the 2.0 release.
  22. Get both. The Mig-21 in DCS is an absolute masterpiece, can't praise it too much. It's systems are fairly simple compared to newer AC but flying and fighting the Mig is incredibly rewarding. I've also pre-ordered the Mirage but since it's not released yet we can pretty much only speculate on its quality. I do have high hopes for it but we'll see.
  23. While Steam keys work with both the Steam and ED version of DCS, ED keys only work with the ED version. So no, you won't able to use a M-2000C key bought on the ED website in the Steam version later. IMO it doesn't make a lot of sense to use the Steam version since with the ED version you can benefit from sales on both Steam and the ED website. And no middleman means probably more money for ED and partners. ;) And no, the M-2000C hasn't been released as beta yet.
  24. Reporting in. :pilotfly:
  25. Thanks guys!
