I got newsletter in my inbox in part says "...This weekend only we are offering the F-15C Eagle and Su-27 Flanker for DCS World to fly for free, both on our e-shop and on Steam.". Not seeing anything in E-shop. Am I missing something?

I take it this is a dead thread now ?

For a minute there I was seriously confused. I read this by RaisedByWolves: "I asked a female I went out with the other night the exact same question". Did not get what he was trying to say, knew there was a joke there somewhere. Reread all post above that one. Then saw this post by IRememberJeep:" "I was expecting a very different topic with that thread title. :-D I’m looking forward to stores/aircraft damage when performing an over G. This leads me to ask: is the Cat I/Cat II switch functional at this point? Isn’t it supposed to limit Gs based off what setting it’s on?". I then looked at the title of the thread and realized I need to improve my situational awareness skills.

Huzar, I missed the dual trigger trick. What all did you have to do? I have X-65 single stage and am thinking of inserting x-52 dual trigger button in place of. In your mind is it possible? Before I take things apart.

Not sure of the question but The scripts in my sig is for Saitek items. I believe what you want to do is export items to android devices. is this correct?
-
I use Spacedesk to export items to my Asus transformer ( Andriod). It is a free app. https://spacedesk.net/multi-monitor-app-virtual-display-screen-software-video-wall

It appears that a recent windows update borked the screen capture function within the dll. Looking into a fix if anyone is interested. Until then I will continue to struggle with other promised updates and manuals.

There in lies the problem, I have this thread so mangled that you have to ask that question( shame on me ). Give me a minute and I will organize things for the latest Dll. I am adjusting things as the colors are off on the Fips. As you have the x-52 pro should not affect you but I nee to clean things up over here.

I think I screwed the pooch on this one. What dll did you put in the lua lib folder? Saitek dll or Cpias dll?
-
O.k that is compiled version. let me point you to not compiled version. ( I think that one is now incompatible). Stand by.
-
okie dokie? Try right clicking CPIAS and open with Lua "Scite"( edit script) The scripting window should open. On the top panel you should see the tool menu bar. Look for a blue arrow and click it. Let me know what happens.
-
O.k., Let's start with the usual: You read the instructions and got stuck, What part have you done? I only ask to shorten steps and questions.
-
Magpie, I do not have the F-18 module. The F-86 module is up on the first page but does not have any functions for the X-52. What are the functions you are hoping to see for the F-86?

Monstertech Flight Stand Early Impressions
algerad3 replied to Supmua's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
" PS The Negatives: The right leg stand is only half thickness, so this reduced the overall expandability of the unit. Which means if I want to add a right sided joystick or keyboard mount this won’t be compatible with the existing add-ons. It is likely a cost-cutting measure, albeit a short-sighted one." Is it possible to reverse the assembly to put the left leg stand on the right hand side? From the looks of things it could be assembled either way, I may be wrong. -
Try these the drivers and associated SST version (SD6). I just tested and it works as requested. Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_7_0_34_109_64_Drivers_pfw.zip Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64.zip

Me too and and a few fip panels. :D Of course I will probably get more scripting time than stick time as that is the way it is now.

Quickstart Export Data from DCS
algerad3 replied to tomekldc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am surprised nobody has chimed in on this one yet. I am not very well versed in this arena but will try to help. First off , how are you trying to send data (copy of send and receive script). DCS export can connect to any script/programs that accepts and sends data via lua sockets. A quick search on the inter-webs indicates the error you are getting is due to an issue with the port settings. Maybe proxie setup issue. Not very well Versed with DCS Bios but you can find the data you are looking for in the lua files for dcs if you know where to look as illustrated in the "Export .Lua" file examples portions. A quick search of the forums for "udp connections " will yield a lot of pages to peruse which can point you in the right direction for Udp connections and issues to such. ( i use tcp and am very little light on info ). Once you get the connection sorted out, you can peruse my scripts and get an idea of how to send and receive / use data streams. ( fair warning :I am an amateur on this portion and still learning.) -
No, I do not have the Mirage module. It has been awhile since I have worked on this project ( real life issues). I hope to get back to it soon, clean things up and then work on other modules in the future. Hopefully the old scripts will give you an idea as to how to get info displayed on the x-52 pro display. If I can help let me know.

Ketelcorn, Sorry it has been awhile since I checked in. Have you used Cpias for any other modules? What steps have you taken?
