  1. Thanks for the advices. I appreciate it. Honestly, that is not the ideal method for me 'coz I don't wanna touch the axis curve just like DayGlow have mentioned in the post above. It doesn't make sense this simulator does not have the dedicated function as part of controller setting after many years with the bunch of fighter jet add-ons. Anyway, I'll try it for sure.
  2. Three years after the original post.. Just wondering here: there's still no way to get the user definable detent unlike Falcon BMS? Haven't been flying in DCS for a while, but last time I flew the Hornet it was really annoying to enable the A/B accidentally over and over again.
  3. I really appreciate you for the help, McMicha. I've already deleted the "DCS.openbeta" folder in "Saved Games" numerous times. Same for Ikarus, have tested newly downloaded one. Just tried the following two things: 1. Turning off VSYNC -> No change 2. Turning off the "Share" function of GeForce Experience -> No Change The version is 1.4.5.4d, and also tried older versions but no success. Yes, haven't tried with the jet, though.
  4. Hi, McMicha. Thank you for advice. I've tested the behavior after changing the lines as you instructed. However, nothing was changed. Instruments are still lagged. DCS is running at almost 60fps w/ Vsync ON. I thought the display driver is causing the trouble, so re-installed the latest WHQL Geforce Driver. It didn't solve the issue, though.
  5. Hi, I have serious performance issue on Ikarus. More specifically, refresh rate of instruments are really low, thus cannot readable. The response of switches are also poor. I have no performance issue on DCS itself. It runs smoothly regardless of Ikarus. I just followed the installation instructions, so no modification on export scripts or Ikarus. Download, extract, copy&paste "Scripts" folder, launch Ikarus and DCS. Just like that. I will really appreciate any advice on this problem. Thank you for reading.
  6. Hi, debolestis. I'm sorry about the flu you've got. Get well soon, mate! And also thank you for remeasurement. According to your post, I understand that you couldn't confirm my center play issue which I pointed in the comment on Shapeways tailpiece page. However, actually, I have that issue with Warthog and FSSB R3. And I confirmed that it can be fixed with hot glue. Which means the problem is comes from the diameter of its cylinder, as I already mentioned in the comment. If you have time for it, I hope you'll test the tailpiece to confirm that issue in exact same way as I did. I did: 1) Disassemble the stick. 2) Loose the screw at C shaped point. (It's for simulating the usage of FSSB/FCC, because when we use it, we apply strong force to stick) 3) Pinch the tailpiece at bottom part, and slowly shake it laterally. 4) You'll see the play.
  7. Stick potentiometer used in console controller like above won't fit to Cougar's cursor circuit board. Check the following image posted by Fakum. The layout of pins are slightly different from console stick pot, hence you can't solder and fix it. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2638092&postcount=23
  8. I confirmed that the Leo Bodnar's Cable Adapter doesn't have compatibility with G940 rudder pedals. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2151074&postcount=17
  9. I've just found this thread, and it's quite interesting! If you are going to sell it, definitely I want a throttle mod kit.
  10. I bought and tested it almost 2 years ago, but not successful. Some axis didn't work at all, and exported value of the recognized axis was not suited for rudder pedal use.:(
  11. Thanks for your great work, RICARDO.
  12. Yes, you are right. It's actually blocker to prevent human FOD, be called "Fan Guard". "Fan Guard" is mainly used by maintainers when engine checking. The picture was taken while engine running performance at Hamamatsu Airpark. Please check the following post. http://d.hatena.ne.jp/blue015/20130421/1366547971 There exist white inert round. You can see it in the above post.
  13. The AIM-7 is believed for countering cruise missile. NF tail fighters carry it quite often. (except Glowlers) The spotter's blog based at NAF Atsugi, Japan. http://robinbirds.exblog.jp/17726400/
  14. Hi, Skylark. I also experienced the same issue. Check this footblot's post, you should be able to fix it. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1688458&postcount=13
  15. I feel reassured if you fight with us.
  16. Yes, the partnership between Japan and US is most important factor for the security. They have knowledges, skills and equipments for real war which JSDF doesn't have. For example, JSDF has no capability for SEAD mission, but 35th Fighter Wing (Misawa AB) has such capability. But I guess US forces will evacuate from japan, after enemy forces landed on my country...
  17. Yes, you're right. F-2 was actually designed as support fighter. Japan is island country, so we usually have to attack ships at first stage of war time situation. Because of this needs, obviously F-2's main role is anti-ship attacking. But close air support is also important role for F-2. Today's multi-role fighters always carry the laser or GPS/INS guided munition with targeting pod. But JASDF only had GCS-1 infrared guided bomb until few years ago. GCS-1 is known as anti-ship bomb. Since past decades, japanese Ministry of Defense always thought that it will be too late and lose situation when JASDF do the CAS mission, because japan has long coastline. So MOD and JASDF didn't have much interest in such role.
  18. The JASDF doesn't have any Maverick in their inventory. JMSDF is going to purchase AGM-65Fs for anti-piracy operation. F-2 fighters has close air support capability as limited for now. Main mission of F-2 fighters are anti-ship attacking from stand-off distance by using ASM-1/2. So japanese Ministry of Defense had no interest in such role untill few years ago. Currently JASDF has GBU-38/54 for CAS mission in their inventory, and they are going to purchase targeting pod for own ship designation.
  19. I appreciate your support. I was realized that the installer of 1.2.3 may have a problem. Because, I confirmed there is no problem if entire files are updated from 1.2.2 via autoupdater. Please check the installer. Please also check my dcs.log file. Thanks. dcs.log.txt
  20. After few updates are available, the issue is still existing. There are not many Japanese DCS players in this world. But this issue is very fatal. Obviously, the issue is reducing our playability. I hope to be fixed it.
  21. I'm struggling with the identical issue. I'm also using Japanese version of Windows 7 64bit, and my DCS.exe always stop working when loading 3D world. I installed DCS: World and A-10C module, and had any issues before version 1.2.3. Bug report was already sent to customer support. I hope to be fixed this issue as soon as possible.
  22. Air-to-Air shot of Su-27 which be taken by JASDF on that day. R-73s can be seen at outer wing stations. And the route of violated fighters.
  23. The incident occurred in Japanese "Day of Northern Territories". Russia only claimed to consistent their position which no changed over the past few decades. We launched four F-2A fighters, but above photo seems not be taken on that particular day. QRA aircraft does not carry blue color inert missiles in JASDF.
  24. "SP" A-10s will disappear in this year. http://www.spangdahlem.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123334517
  25. Our EWR in Miyako island, couldn't detect and track the chinese plane at first stage of that. It's a big problem. BTW, USAF announced 2013 Thunderbirds show schedule in a few days ago. They will perform pacific tour in next year, but the shows at fareast bases seems be canceled, because of Taepodong-2 launching by north korea...:(
