  1. One binding that is missing is fuel cut up and down. Currently there's only toggle switch and I am using physical levers for these and there's no way to configure them like for example in ka-50 or in many planes.
  2. Landing at FARP at night or very poor weather is really hard or almost impossible as there's no mechanic for setting up some lights for helping approach. Even spotting a FARP is really hard and sometimes requires a lot of circling and if you are not in exact place, it's impossible to found. If not automated, at least by contacting FARP via ATC menu, there should be option for some guidance lights.
  3. The switch on the left wall near landing/taxi light switch is on by default.
  4. Is there some changes with weapons or delivery of them? I have flown with viggen last couple of weeks and now after patch I have had a lot of problems especially with bombs. For example, when in NAV mastermode and Bomb/Plan delivery mode, there's now no sight. When in ANF mode, the sight seems to behave differently and more dive is required?

Just guessing here, but Viggen had only greenish phosphor in the CRT thus circle and other markings just could not be other than green or black so current representation is better than previous in that sense. EDIT: Ok, the circle is still white in cockpit and in exported viewport if brightness is enhanced to usable level (normally it's either way too dark or cockpit radar too bright):
  6. I will try this too (2D user) as currently ghosting with TAA (DLAA) is so massive. Even head movements with trackIR causes ghosting from cockpit structures. All fine details like masts and powerlines are gone. Strangely I didn't have those problems when first version with DLAA came at October. Only later.
  7. ReShade works, but with some night displays, like radar of AJS37, it creates a lot of posterization as image is so dark and has so few colors that it cannot be brightened without bringing a lot of artifacts. One example of posterization as attachment.
  8. I really have been hoping something like that as sometimes (virtual) sun light on some cockpit lights, displays or even knobs is so strong that it's hard so see their status. In real life you would just shade them by hand but that's currently not possible in dcs. Something like inverse flashlight would do the job.

Hi, If I set rotor brake to some axis of controller, the lever in cockpit seems to move as it should and when I use something to get exported (telemetry) data, I can get lever's location updates also properly. However even though lever is fully down, engine wont start. It will start only if I raise the lever again by clicking on the cockpit and then set it again to the lowest position by clicking it.
  10. Hi, I would like to get gauges of mosquito to my small display with Helios but it seems that there's no existing interface for Mosquito? Is that true or have I mistaken as there's interfaces for so many rare planes?
  11. Civilian traffic is great for immersion but when they drive thru active battle field, that's not good. Could it be changed in the future so that there's no civ traffic within certain radius of active battle units? Like 5 km?
  12. In KA-50 you can do that by options / special settings page but how with A-10C II? Currently sight is too low to my taste and requires awkward neck angles when trying to point something with Track-IR. I have found that by editing SnapViews.lua you can change that but unfortunately it changes the whole view. If you shift helmet mounted sight more up, you have to tilt head more downwards when looking at cockpit. Not good. Any other options?
  13. This just seems to be so hard. They can be destroyed with vikhr when shot in normal mode (not A/A-mode). A/A mode seems to cause only minor damage. However they can track with laser guided Hellfires after they got hit fatally. Those hellfires are hard to evade and they track behind the obstacles (even behind mountains). Just got shot down by AI apache that I had destroyed (got Destoyed message). That still flew, circled behind me (while I thought it was circling to ground) and shot me with missile.

  15. I can try reproduce this. As I approached the village, it was on my 12 and shkval looked directly towards it (boresight). According to ABRIS I wasn't flying toward the village. The last screenshot was when I was flying towards to FARP, but according to map I wasn't. I did not corrected the magnetic declination - If ABRIS heading is not taken directly from GNSS.
  16. This was quick alignment. Does it affect ABRIS too?
  17. I am not sure how this should be and how could this kind behaviour be possible in real life (with out electrical warfare). The thing is that sometimes KA-50's ABRIS display will display location and heading incorrectly (way more than GLONAS display shows as accuracy). My heading is directly towards the target village and still according to map, my heading is off the village: The satellite positioning is accurate. 2D plane is within 20 meters and altitude within 23 meters: Shkval and heading towards point marked on map as 'Start'. The map display shows around 15° offset: This happens sometimes and I really aren't sure why. Is this known problem of real ABRIS system or just thing in the DCS (using Open Beta MT 2.9.0.47168). No rearming and repairing done during mission.

  19. Hi, It seems that Normal and Precision alignment does the trick. Still not sure how hot start is. The problem lies in many (campaign) missions that has time limits. You cannot perform Normal INU alignment as it takes too much time. "Easy Start" also does only fast alignment.
  20. I looked this more and yes, something has changed. I am not sure if it's 'Forest Visibility' which causes this? I tested with Forest Visibility set to minimum and was able to see the target area. I Fiddled with the Forest Visibility settings and after that it has no effect, I left it on 80%. Then today when I tested, forest was returned and target was not visible. I did INU FIX over nearby dam so HUD shows exactly target location: The next mission is 'Substract ' where you have to destroy BUK (SA-11) battery. Unfortunately those are also in the middle of forest...
  21. I am currently on mission 8, 'Werewolf'. The briefing shows that target is in the village showing screenshots of village with buildings. In reality, the target sits in the middle of the forest and it took 2 tries until I even found it (by hovering low above area designated on ABRIS - and got shot down as enemies shot from forest all around my helicopter). As mission has only gun and gunpods, it's hard to shoot enemies without even seeing target area. With rockets, perhaps...
  22. I use normally Fast alignment. If mission starts with engines on, its usually Normal + gyro in mission builder. Just tested with stable release and it's all the same. Just after couple of minutes flight I get 'missile 3 o'clock low' warning and Inu begins to have more and more error.
  23. I am having a lot of problems with navigation systems of Ka-50 BS3 (latest open beta MT 2.9.0.47168). INU begins to drift right after takeoff, often losing heading completely. That makes use of datalink and marking up targets useless as all markings will be way off the real location. Here I have flown just 02:33 and navigation system thinks that I should go 5 degrees left from real heading. Got also 'missile 3 o'clock low' warning from EKRAN when INU FIX error appeared. Same mission, second attempt. Here navigation system would guide me 10 degree to the right.
  24. I could not complete campaing because in mission 12 the Mi-8's will only land on designated target area but they do not disembark infantry. They just wait forever. One of them will land on the house (house will burn after that) which I guess is not supposed to happen. I had no problems with mission 2. However I had difficulties to understand commands and had to try some missions couple of times until I figured out what my commands actually were. I am not a native a english speaker so I can usually understand really bad language but there were some phrases that could use some google or AI translations to become much more understable.
  25. The mission "3:10 to Sukhumi" ends always when friendly troops destroys captured train which they should support. Mission cannot be completed.
