  1. Thats practical but I think you miss in b) that if the microswitches are pressed and the Yaw AP is on it will funktion as a damper/stabilizer. When the microswitches are not pressed (feets are off the padles) it will go in heading hold. If you turn off the yaw AP completly you will not have the stablization / dampening effekt to the HIND FM. But you are right, the damper / stabilizer is not realy needed in the Hind but many people dont get the difference in the two modes of the yaw AP.
  2. Had the same idea and I want to open a topic for Basepohl. You came first by a few hours. We need Basepohl because it was the only base for GDR Mi-24P. Thanks for opening.
  3. If you want to use this option you should bind the microswitch key to your paddles not the yaw AP channel. If you deactivate the AP you don't have yaw stabilisation too.
  4. Perfect this would be perfect. Thanks a lot!!! Happy Easter!

Cochem near Büchel is missing too. There was the Bunker of the federal bank of germany which stored a new currency to replace the D-Mark in case of war. It was called the BBK2. It was feared that the east would fake the D-Mark and flood the BRD. But Cochem as a hole is missing completely.
  6. Hey, I have a very special problem in the HB F4E. I wrote to the devs via discord but dont get any answer, so I will try it here. I have a problem with my inputs only on the F4. For Heli I use a sidewinder FFB2 stick (axis inverted in special FFB option for all modules). For the Jets I use the TM Warthog Hotas. Works well with all modules expect the F4. If the FFB2 stick is pluged in (USB only) the TM Hotas is not functional as normal. The Problem even stays the same when inputs are all cleared out, the FFB2 is deactivated and even when the FFB2 has no AC connection. The Warthog Joystick inputs are recognized too but it fights a permanent pitch up momentum when the MSFFB2 is connected. Even when I deactivate the MSFFB2 in the controlls panel the inputs are still there. With AC power or not for the MSFFB2 doesnt matter, the problem stays the same. So the axis are with no bindes and the MSFFB2 is deactivated but the problem is still there. I think it has to do with the trimm. The trimm doesnt work. The pitch neadle is moving as it should but the stick in the cockpit stays in position and no effekt to the FM from the trim is noticeable. While flying the plane is pitching up as hell and you cant counter that with trimm down. Even if the neadle is complety down, it has no effect at all. I can counter with the TM Warthog Hotas with permanent pitch down pressure on the stick, but that is unflyable. The autopilot will not engage and you have to permanetly push the nose down to fly straight. I only can get rid of this when I close DCS, plug out the USB Cable of the MSFFB2 and restart DCS or when I deactivate the Force Feedback in the general DCS settings. But then I cant use the F4 or the heli at the same server without leaving the server, deactivate the FFB option and join again only to fly the F4. I spoke with ED about that but they have no clue. Maybe HB can add a option in the special options of the F4 to deactivate Force Feedback only on the F4 like the Gazelle has? The F4 is one of my absoulte favorites but the helis too. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
  7. Hope they push Out a hot fix for the yaw problem and the laser.
  8. It will be soon standalone... But need some time till release.
  9. Solved this issue. It was this bug from the recent update. Probably the coms are made through a vihicle on the ground or some workaround in the missions. When I deleted the Su30 Mod the vihicles were there again in all the other missions in the ME and the Palestreal 25 missions are working again.
  10. no im not on steam but never did a rollback before
  11. When the radio is not setup correctly (f.e. wrong ch.) you get a notification to check the radio settings again. But if you can comunicate via F10 menu it should be fine. Yes, it put the middle console switch to presets. Done it multiple time some weeks ago and it worked fine. If I could I would go to the version before update and would check it myself but I cant downgrade... Batteries on curcuit brakers all on Inverters auto or manual Radio switch to R863 check ICS swtich set to radio switch chanel 2 select presets middle console turn vol up middle console
  12. Guys I have no idea. It doesnt work in all missions. Its all set correctly but I cant hear any answers anymore. No station (Ch. 2 ATC or Ch. 3 TacCom). Downloaded new missions and there is still no answer. The answers dont appear written in the upper right corner, only the hearable own player voice. I thought it was because of the new save function and the triggers might be broken but if you tested it to this should not be the case. I played this missions a while ago with no problems at all.
  13. Yes did the radio setup as it was moticed in the briefing. Worked before patch... No its broken. I will do an redownload of the great campaign and will try again.
  14. Radio coms doesnt work since DCS recent update. Setting the radio correct as before but no answer is heard anymore. Only own replays are hearable. Maybe some idea to fix this?
  15. Its not gar away...two weeks maybe. Seriously, it will be soon
  16. Same problem here. But Im not able to change any IP things because I dont know how. Please ED fix it ASAP! Would be great to get an update without any major error!
  17. @dggoofy Amazing work but the bomb squad doesnt embark. The car is there and is leaving but there is no reaction at all. Even after 15 min of waiting. I think some triggers are off. Coms are set correctly.
  18. Same Here. Apache is unusable at the moment. Please fix.
  19. Yes, that was also my understanding. Thanks for explaining that in detail! Then the most realistic option would either be to select the microswitches off by pressing on a button and only when your pilot would remove the feet from the paddles you deactivate microswitches, or to have a very narrow paddle movement input to deactivate the microswiches, because the system may register the light inputs when you have your own feet on the paddles, right? But then you will have to set a deadzone to get rid of the little paddle stutter inputs in center position for spring paddles. What would you select if you have FFB paddles which stay in position, like in the real Hind? Happy new year and thanks again!
  20. @YoYo Any news about setting this great campaign to its orignal theater? I think the new copy paste method for units in the ME can do you some help, right? Keep up the great work, thanks and happy new year!
  21. That is what we all waited for!!!!!! I will do a profile for foxvox. That is much more capable instead of voice attack and its for free.
  22. @AeriaGloria Thanks for all your work with your very usefull manuals. The pure yaw AP has only 18% authority without any paddle inputs but after that the SDV-5000-OA can still move the paddles, right? Still I have some questions about the yaw AP or to be more precise with the SDV-5000-OA and the "Paddle Auto Move" option. Maybe you can help me in this case. 1) Is the SDV-5000-OA really able to move the paddles the way it does with "Paddle Auto Move" set to on? What does the pilot do when the SDV-5000-OA move the paddles to not press the microswitches? 2) In the "Dienstvorschrift" for the Mi24D of the NVA army of the ex GDR it is said that the pilot puts the right paddle nearly to max to counter the torque when hover start. In DCS this is not needed when the Yaw AP is on and the "Paddle Auto Move" activated. Landing is also possible with no manual paddle inputs since yaw AP and SDV-5000-OA will keep the Mi24 on course. It is only needed if you put to much torque in and the system is overloaded. Was it needed to press the paddles manually while starting and landing the helicopter because the system cant hold it or did the SDV-5000-OA move the paddles for the pilots. 3) You turned "Paddle Auto Move" off as you mentioned in your paper. But does this not cut the SDV-5000-OA which was able to move the paddles out of the buisness? Then it would be harder in DCS to fly with "Paddle Auto Move" off then it would be in real life with the paddle movement of the SDV-5000-OA. Which option is more realistic to the real thing? Thanks a lot! PS: the link to the "Dienstvorschrift: A 101/1/309 Hubschrauber Mi-24, Steuertechnik und Navigation" https://www.kondruss.com/mad/a-101-1-309/index.htm
  23. Can you please push this to ED? Many people had said this but it is never taken seriously. The direction is clear but not the distance at first radar pulse. But the hornet TD Box is right on the SAM. That is the only thing that is unrealistic and that need to be changed. But ED doesnt care about. They say, give us a prove by documents. But that is physics. If they have in their documents that the TD-Box is right on the SAM exact position when it comes online for a millisecond I will trust them but I this is not possible in terms of physics. They can ask their SME but still no word. In many interviews the Hornet pilots say that is very simplified but cant go into detail. But that is no reason to leave it in this way because that has nothing to do with simulation! The MSI will track the emitter by time and will have great benefits no doubt but a single Hornet has no chance to get the exact location in milliseconds of the emitter when it comes online for the first time. Direction on the first signal recive - yes. Search this direction with the TGP and finde the sam - yes. Move aspect and get more and more precise location data via triangulation by time with MSI by RWR etc. - yes. But not the way it is implemented by now!
  24. Yeah you are right. Was it fixed that the TD Box of the hornet is not spot on immedeatly? I have to try again. That would be a good step in the right direction to get it more realistic. Thats all we wanted. I thought from your Video with the f18 the TD Box is still spot on right away on the target, when the emitter starts emitting. If this was fixed and you have to slew the pod / TD Box around to find the radar by yourself this would be perfect. Thanks for taking care of...
  25. Thanks for you invastigation. Do you know if ED is taking this fact seriosly? In both planes its too fast, when the emitter starts emitting for the first time. In the F18 the exact pinpoint TD-Box right on spot in milliseconds is wrong. In your case, as you proofed, how does the HTS or TOO harm seeker knows the correct distance instantly? Of course only if the emitter starts emmitting for the first time and you have only that direction information. The longer the emitter emitts and the more you can build up other aspects to the emitter the distance can be solved. But with this HARM sensor. why you have to do a multimillion dollar HTS Pod develepment with 3 F16 needed to get the triangulation when the HAS/TOO Mode does the same thing only much faster and much more precise...
