It is doable but theres a catch. I tried experimenting to make it more luminescent, bit more LCD'ish. Only catch is that with position of lighting from the sun it throws the color of the screen off. Weapons display lights up when you turn cockpit lights on. :) The skin is editable, but the font?/lines display isnt I dont think. Im sure some treasure hunting through some files may find it.

Is that how you capture your grea nice smooth camera shots?, due to the speed being slower?

Any new software/hardware installed witihin past month? Latest drivers since this started occuring? ATI or Nvidia? Check the Display Properties, make your monitor change in there if possible. One more thing. Uninstall drivers and reinstall.

lol. I think its simple enough to just use Invuneribilty(damn did I spell that right?) You can then train with the missile/s, and your buddy can train dodging that missile with or without countermeasures. Hit 2 birds with one stone. My 2c worth.

Lemme guess. You have a dual core right? this problem has been noted in another thread if so. from what I recall the game will load 'wihout' the CD in the drive, try that. that is if you use CD version.

Yuh was gonna say if you wanna edit the .dds files, Photoshop and the DDS Plugin by Nvidia for Photoshop is what I used for editing textures. Im not to sure if all skinners use this method? Its the one that I found that worked. :) http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photoshop_dds_plugins.html :)

CLI.exe is part of catalyst control center, hence disable them you disable CCC, and your configurations within it. as far as I know... Perhaps someone can elaborate further..

thats the first thing that stood out for me, the caonpy edges look like someones used windows paint to draw them.

Well they didnt say the ejection system wasnt working did they? :P

Coulda been a good opportunity to test out that zero-zero ejection. :)

*For those that didnt want the radio chatter. In zzzspace's soundpack there are two CockpitSystems files. 1. CockpitSystems(zzzspace's radio chatter modified) 2. CockpitSystemsALTERNATIVE simply exchange the two. rename the original to something else, and rename the second to 'CockpitSystems'. for those that just 'paste' over the origianl folders/files, you 'will' then have duplicate sound files,wav and ogg. * Follow rekoal's instructions - see above * *For those that didnt want the radio chatter. I may be to do with the compression? Khz? of the file. Srry not to sure, I personally started mixing A few sound packs to get the desired results I wanted. But in the end I just went back to zzzspaces sounds, and replaced cockpitsounds file with the original. Cant stand listening to radio chatter all the time. Id like to see a re-tuned soundpack, and hopefully more soundpacks put together by some others. :)

EDITED: I'd try out different res/refresh rates.
