Yes, the UHF Guard is imlpemented for all the planes that have Guard (A-10A/C, F-15C, MiG-29A/G/S, SU27/33, SU-25A/T, Sabre, UH-1H, Hip, L-39, 21) The SR lua code could be tweaked easily, so the F-5E-3 will be easy to add (I think)

Quick question. The ALE-40 is programmed before flight for the "Programmed decoys release" as states the manual. Will we be able to set the program for the ALE-40 in the ME, via a Special Tab (interval, number,... pg. 188 of the manual)? Like the 20 preset UHF frequencies for the Radio. Thanks in advance.

Mr Dackhart is wrong. The NDB (or ARC in russian) system is functional since Blackshark 1. The ARK-22 in the KA-50 is functional and is an 8 preset only system (like the ARK-10) that could be edited since the beginning via a lua file and, thanks to Flagrum, in the ME with a mod that now is part of DCSW. The ARC-10 could be modeled like the ARK-22, with 9 presets from the beginning. In a posterior feature, they could enable the "rotary selector" for the inner frecuencies. The MRP-56 that works with the marker beacons is the same system that is modelled even for the FC planes. So it could be done. The same with the RSBN and PRMG equipment, both are defined from Blackshark 1 onwards. After one of the first FC3 updates, even the russian planes have an "automatic PRMG selection" that allows them to only use the PRMG system in the military bases of the Caucasus. I know that the development of the LN-21 was difficult, but the radio equipment (RSBN/TACAN/PRMG/NDB/ILS/VOR) was defined from the beginning of the Lomac/FC/DCSW concept. If Mr Dackhart says that is a "design decision", it´s OK. But please, look at the code before. Attached is the beacons.lua from the BS1, you can find even information for TACAN and ILS that obviously a KA-50 doesn´t use.

BR switch: ECM Spirale system power on. Rotatory; V: system stand-by ,Square: ECM On. LL switch: it would power on flare/chaff dispensers. Not sure if it's implemented. The ECM suit is WiP as Zeus said.

Maybe related with the "Flashlight bug" thread. The white and red flood lights only seem to work before sunset. Test: quick mission: Landing, no flood lights. Changing the time to 18PM, before sunset, red and white floodlights works. Clean beta 1.5.4 install.

Both airbases only have PRMG in one of the runways. If the active runway it's the other one (27 active for K-C for example) PRMG will not be active.

Why? You've got a working Lua for Russian navigation (NDB/RSBN/PRMG) since Blackshark 1. Even the Russian FC3 planes use this implementation (for PRMG) In the NTTR I can fly with the Albatross and the RSBN in manual mode without any RSBN stations. It's like ask for a TACAN and ILS station in every airport in every city in the world. In a future LN map, LN must use the standard implementation or the other planes cannot make a proper navigation/approach. If every developer makes their own system, the "DCS open idea" is dead.

LN has chosen to have a proprietary nav system. ARC is the acronym for NDB in Russian. It's the same system: English name NDB, Russian name ARC If the LN-21 will depict a real ARC-10, MRP-56 marker beacon, and a real RSBN equipment, like in the Fagot and the Albatross, all will be easier. Maybe in the medium-long term, with the upcoming Viggen, LN will change to a most accurate depiction of a navigation system, either western or Russian.

If you can lock a target at 200 meters AGL, well the radar is bugged then. Or is a design feature.

It isn´t a radar filtering. In the "H Signal" (medium position) the compesation channel is engaged. Must be on below 3500-4000 meters (IRL Manuals) The radar antenna is set in an upward position of +1.5º/2º when you engage the Low Altitude mode. Even in this mode, the radar is unable to search and track at an altitude below of 2000 meters, according with real life manuals.

Little bug in the open beta 1.5.3U6. Clean Install. No profile loaded from U5. The "PRF cycle keybinds (HI-Int-Low and Low-Int-HI)" doesn´t work. No problems assigning one key per action. Maybe WiP? Thanks.

You need to activate the "master module" of the mod and after the Ka-50 part of the mod.

Maybe it´s a simple graphic bug. Is the right selector in the VOR/ILS, the labeled "test/HG/BD" a 2 positions knob "HG/BD" or a 3 positions "HG/TEST/BD? The selector seems to be in a "center position" (TEST) but you can only switch it between HG/BD. I think it´s a WiP feature. Thanks in advance! Tarres
