  1. In this image there are two only two type of weapons: B-8 of the same type and S13 of the same type. If the payload is for example: B8KOM+B8OFP2+S13 (3 types of weapons) the WCS can´t handle with them, even in the SM3 upgrade I think.
  2. 2 minor upgrades that I think could be good for the missions: .- set Kobuleti ATC frequency in Channel 0 for both missions. .- Use battery on and radio on to talk with the Ground Power Unit on the Start-up mission. Thanks Derelor!

    Gun safe?

The gun safe isn't modeled. In the stick seems that it lacks a shortcut linked to the safe/fire position. These positions seem to be linked to the reload buttons. Maybe can be addressed in the next revision of the controls alongside with other controls.

    Mirage F1

    Me too.
  5. Yes, the best solution would be make a "RSBN Station", a "TACAN Station" (that is a mobile system too) and a "PRMG Station" like an objects in the ME with associated frequencies. But you don't need a map full of radio beacons to achieve a satisfactory navigation in an airframe of the 60's and 70's. So in the interim I prefer the solution that we 've got nowadays. Regards.
  6. Well, it´s the reality. Not all airfields have VOR/DME, TACAN and ILS in the west for example. You can use the manual mode of the RSBN. I can fly in the NTTR without RSBN and with only one NDB for example. You only have to study the map and take a few notes regarding Bearing and Distance.
  7. Thanks Grunf, it´s a great and simple workaround until we´ve got the system fixed.
  8. @Vincent90. Radar: It seems that the radar that we´ve got is a mix between the old RP-21 (PF/PFM/SM) and the RP-22 to enable the use of the old beam riders RS-2 and KH-66 in the most modern Izd75 aka 21bis. WCS, linked to the radar. Navigation systems: the ED L-39C features a real and functional RSBN (it´s the same model that the 21bis has). The LN RSBN lacks the manual mode (heading and distance) that allows navigation outside a RSBN area. RSBN and PRMG are different systems, like a VOR/DME and an ILS in the western aircrafts. RSBN is for civilian and military and PRMG is only for military. RSBN-4 has a maximum of 40 channels for the RSBN and PRMG, not 99 (this is trivial) The LN approach links the MRP-56 marker beacon system to the RSBN, so if you don´t put a RSBN station in an airfield you don´t have marker signals. It´s like if in western airfields you have to got an ILS and a VOR/DME in every airfield to have a functional markers beacon. The LN RSBN have a range of 200km, IRL RSBN have a range of 400-600km , like the depicted in the L-39C. ARK-10 system: IRL 9 presets and 8 "bands" something like the ARK-5 of the MiG-15. The inner-outer selector is used to select the 9 presets (pushbuttons) and the knob selector for the outer. So maybe 17 stations, not 72 stations. And the ability to setup this frequencies in the ME not in a LUA. The ASP-PFD, well it´s WiP so I´m sure that we will got in the medium term an accurate gunsight. Ground handling, tuned down for easier gameplay. I think that LNS made a great job with the 21bis and maybe the next ones will be better. It will be modules designed and programmed by the team from scratch. Maybe in the medium term, LNS can borrow the RSBN and ARK system from ED and solve I´m sure that they will resolve the problems with the ASP-PFD. I hope that in the long run, this module will be as good as the ED/BST projects. But I think it´s better to know their "deficiencies". Sorry for my English. 9. @mwd2. Unfortunately, all the navigation (RSBN/PRMG system) and radar/gunsight system, alongside with some weapons acting like a 9X or a R-73M instead of a late 60´s missile or have weapons that the WCS can handle. It´s like in the A-10C module you have TACAN and ILS in all the airports of the map for example or have the ability to carry and fire an GBU-15(V) or an AGM-88 HARM or an F-16A with AIM-7. The developers say that these choices are for a better gameplay balance but I would like to have the option to have a functional system like the RSBN of the L-39 and fly the Fishbed with real systems. The best choice in the medium term would be to have these two approximations (real and developer choice) as an option for the customer. Maybe I´m too old. Regards.
  10. +1
  11. Only one "custom" unfortunately. And yes, great work!
  12. The 21 uses his own system for custom cockpits. I think that with the LN system you can only have 2 "cockpits" one "original" and one "custom". Maybe in the medium term they decide to use the standard system that we´ve got in the other modules.
  13. Most realistic: ED and BST modules. The 21 lacks fidelity in navigation (ARK-10, RSBN-4) and weapons (ASP gunsight and RP-22 radar system)
  14. Maybe in a future update the option for the Gunsight could be moved from the "Special options" tab to the ME options tab along the "solo flight" and the other option, I don't remember the exact name. I think that could be better to have his option in the Mission editor rather than in the module options to make this feature linked to a particular mission rather than a global parameter. Thanks in advance and Happy new year.
  15. That will resolve a lot of problems with the navigation part of the module. The best solution, as you said.
  16. Thanks Seaeagle! I suppose that will be a modest upgrade for the airframes and nav and weapons system within a modest budget. Yes, now I remember, the proposed upgrade for the 33 in the mid-90's.
  17. Seaegle, I think that was the 27KUB, the naval flanker with PGM/AGM/ASM capabilities. The 33 will be decomised and replaced with the new 29K/KUB (budget and capabilities) after the planned refit of the Kuznetsov, that will take 3 or 4 years (SS-N-19 removed, SAM updated, new engines...) to be completed. For FC· and weapons, well, even the 25A and the 25T have weapons that can´t carry IRL: .-the 25A WCS has a limitation of 2 ballistic weapons, so you can´t carry 4 types of weapons in a flight. .- the only SEAD´s of the 25 family are the dozen of modified UB ex-bielorussian sold to Peru that can carry the Phantasmagoria pod and carry the KH-58. And the the pod is manually operated by the WSO in the second seat
  18. Is the MRP-56 marker beacon system tied to the RSBN-4N in the LNS MiG-21? If I create a custom navdata (using only the RSBN and PRMG that exist or existed IRL e.g. PRMG only at AFB´s), all works as indeed but I only have marker beacons signals IF the airport has a RSBN station. The MRP-56 and the RSBN systems are independent IRL. You can have a marker signal in an airport without a RSBN station. Thanks in advance.
  19. The crash happens because the PRMG selector is unable to rotate to the next channel after the last defined in the navdata lua. Maybe can be resolved using a 0-40 channel variable in the file that define the RSBN. When the knob reaches the 40 (uppper limit of the RSBN IRL like in the L-39) the knob must stop. The upper limit of the RSBN is 40 aswell, but I known that it´s a game concession (99 channels) for better gameplay.
  20. It isn´t fixed in the 2.0 branch yet.
  21. The use of a standard navigation file or system will be necessary to have proper navigation in different maps from different developers. With the manual mode of the RSBN you don't need RSBN stations in the NTTR for example, as you say.
  22. Well, I hope that in the medium term we've got a full functional RSBN like the one in the Albatross. IRL both airplanes shares the same RSBN system.
  23. Thanks Grunf. All the nav systems don´t work.
  24. @Grunf. Are you able to get a signal from the NDB station or from the custom RSBN?
