OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
I am not sure what aspect of relevance you are talking about. I am not trying to prove anything. I am just having fun and skidding is not that hard or easy to perform. Before I forget, the suspension modelled here is very impressive. Just lacking some sparks, literally. -

Cannot comment of the FM nor the physics but skidding is possible but the behaviour is quite unlike the OH-58D -
I have given it a try by JF-17 trial, but the cannon turned me off.

Update: I get the overlay enabled. And I have the controller layout done But still, I get no menu show up. Help needed. Tried both MT and ST version, no menu showed up.

I find that the Steam Overlay option, when in game, is greyed out and cannot be disabled. What have I done wrong? Nevermind, after Steam update, the option enables again.

The downside, the throttle easily goes straight down from 75% to 50% because of the AB dent. If the throttle is needed between these 2 values, it can be quite tricky. Not likely to go well with chopters. Unlike some other sims out there (cough) AB and idle dents do not have an unified setting, it is down to different modules. Shame.

Absolute Fanta-Tast-Tic! Andes finally looks like a real mountain range! Bravo! Two-weeks, I suppose? -
HOTAS Cougar software on a modern Windows

Nevermind, thanks for the help. The handle seems to be broken during transportation...I have to glue it back together so I doubt I am going to open it up again for fixing.... -

Just personal vent, the ANT ELEV axis is broken though. Got it from eBay and it was quite a drama... -

I got an old one just for TQS only. How do I get the RDR cursor control working. I am not suing the FOXY software though. -
OT: Apache is now much more easier to hover and land than when it was out initially. It does feel the weight a bit, again, it was me. Now, on to UH-1H...

How to win at BFM in the Mighty F-4E Phantom

In echo to @SgtPappy above, here is a vid to aid the excellent discussions so far: -
There was a clickable mod for FC3 planes, fyi. And I am not sure if it still works or not. And I think there was also a NVG mod and again I am not sure if it works currently or not.

Quest 3 better graphics how?
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to StankFart's topic in Virtual Reality
It is easy to note: at the DCS initial loading screen, if ASW is on, one would see some strange distortions on screen. If off, it is definitely off. If one turns off the headset and turn it back on, or the computer has been rebooted, it will reset and one has to turn it back off. BTW, I have been using a batch file to turn it off. -

Look at the ODT screenshot, the ASW is turned off, I am afraid. -

Sorry to drop you into some reading: Home · mbucchia/Meta-Foveated Wiki · GitHub I assure it will be time well spent. Not as fancy as QPro with eye-tracking but giving a particular sweet spot should make it better. Additional: Have you tried turning Windows Game Mode on/off? -
My baseline is: it is gorram better than nothing, and I Do Not Comment On Products That Does Not ExistTM

For starter: What is your NVIDIA setting? Have you turned Low Latency to "ultra"? And what is the Power Management mode? The shadow settings certainly kill the frame rate. Try to switch up your Q3 to 90Hz (120Hz does not help afaik) Are you using MT plus OpenXR with OpenXR Toolkit? If so what are the settings? Any OpenXR-Quad-Views-Foveated? (Self-promo BS) This is why 2/3 of my DCS benchmark baseline video are just about settings as VR is so gorram complicated! -
So far: Hellfire training, the in-game message title says APKWS instead of Hellfire.
