Shame, have to work till UKT 1730 tomorrow...
-
A side note to those who have no idea how complex modern computing software is and whine about delays, let alone even more complicated ones like simulations, an issue which sounds so silly simple actually involves a lot of works and a huge amount of unseen dependencies and impact across the system as a whole. Repeating myself, as a former software developer myself, i have a lot of respect to the developers and the same level of intolerance to bugs as you all are.

DCS Su-30MK MOD
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to freebirddz's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Shame the replay system still does not work in single player. So I am stuck with the F1 view... Keep up the good work. This is amazing again. -

Does the AI do any vector thrusting? -
Any example script how S_EVENT_SHOOTING_START event can be used? I am working on a mission where the blue must wait for the red to shoot first or the game ends. Thanks in advanced.

My problem on the non-Jeff version is that there are actually 3 planes, I know, this is a mod based on passion. I can wait as I cannot stand the Jeff gun... It is just me.

Seriously, I am all for the gun here. Would not buy JF-17 till the cannon is changed here for JAS-39C.

OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Me2... IDK IRL if it is rubber, carbon or metal, I like the sound of OH-58D skidding a bit more, not to mention there is literally sparks flying. -

I am not sure what aspect of relevance you are talking about. I am not trying to prove anything. I am just having fun and skidding is not that hard or easy to perform. Before I forget, the suspension modelled here is very impressive. Just lacking some sparks, literally. -

Cannot comment of the FM nor the physics but skidding is possible but the behaviour is quite unlike the OH-58D -
I have given it a try by JF-17 trial, but the cannon turned me off.

Update: I get the overlay enabled. And I have the controller layout done But still, I get no menu show up. Help needed. Tried both MT and ST version, no menu showed up.
-
I find that the Steam Overlay option, when in game, is greyed out and cannot be disabled. What have I done wrong? Nevermind, after Steam update, the option enables again.

The downside, the throttle easily goes straight down from 75% to 50% because of the AB dent. If the throttle is needed between these 2 values, it can be quite tricky. Not likely to go well with chopters. Unlike some other sims out there (cough) AB and idle dents do not have an unified setting, it is down to different modules. Shame.

Nevermind, thanks for the help. The handle seems to be broken during transportation...I have to glue it back together so I doubt I am going to open it up again for fixing.... -

Just personal vent, the ANT ELEV axis is broken though. Got it from eBay and it was quite a drama... -
