  1. The canopy used to be clear when flying through rain, now, water streams forms in flight if the plane is caught in the rain area. This makes landing in rain even more miserable and taxing is worse, especially at night. Video soon...
  2. 1.0.2 release up, can finally select sound source.
  3. You guys tempted me to give my non-mod stick another go...
  4. Blurry image says nothing, will wait-n-see cause if the stick is an extra investment, pass.

  6. It seems to me QVF was trying to track but failed, resulting the screen "shaking". I concur the overall FPS has dropped when there is a lot going on.
  7. I dunno, here is from the official wiki: For me, I disabled OpenXR Toolkit and uninstall QVF before running my benchmark. Then I reinstall QVF and find it did not work.
  8. Yup, even OpenXR Toolkit is disabled. Put it in safe mode actually makes it worse. I think we should move this to elsewhere.
  9. Love the new GUI, Run benchmark and compare it with 2.9.1, the FPS in VR is significantly worse but the time between frames, has improved quite a lot. It is all in MT, full setting and plain installation. Detailed result later. Not sure why yet, but it may be something to do with Syria map or other effect.
  10. It was on and off for me too, but the video I posted should be one of the correct sequences.
  11. The "official" fix is out. Will give it a run. Thanks for all the great effort. Kudos for keeping the plane alive. Cannot really express this in words -- may be I should use more emoji.
  12. No problem here, at least not noticable in small SP mission.
  13. I am told I have to select whatever sound source I am using while flying, in my case it would be Oculus Headset. After I set in in Windows (not DCS!!!), then it works and I would say, it is dam noisy by default and some subtle sound and camera effect is quite effective. I am flying the latest beta which can be found on the forum.

  15. Not an electronic know-how I am afraid. And then I find this thread: Mounting some 1 ohm resisters in parallel to the existing ones may not be that hard, but assembling it back is another story...
  16. Thank you for your kind offer Max, I have found a MS SW FFB 2 on eBay some time ago. Not very impressed by it, to be frank.
  17. It happens to VR too. Looks like it outputs the sound to somewhere else other than the VR headset, need to sort this out.

  20. Thanks for the video idea, will check and report back Initial report: for gunpods, they all work, same as the onboard one.
  21. I would propose addition to current press-a-key-and-hold to zoom, add a new binding that provides a fixed zoom view so that the hand(s) holding onto zoom are free to perform other tasks. Great aviators suffering from lower-res setting.
