Thanks for posting this. I was watching one of zamboni's Devil's Cross videos and saw him using this technique (or similar) but I wasn't able to see how he did it. This will definitely save me the time of writing the co-ordinates down on my 9-line card and entering it all in the CDU.
Thanks, I think Ive worked it out. Im guesing that I have to use the DCS Blackshark option and just select the DCS A10 directory? Or is there a DCS A10 option available now since I downloaded it?
This is great news! I was a little worried about having a serious failure in mid-flight and not knowing what to do (Im still a noob). Now Ill just turn them on when Im ready and think I know what Im doing ;) Good job ED!
Hi, you could try this website: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
I have found it very useful in the past. It even gives suggestions for improving your hardware.
A pity I didn't think of this on my way back to base after the River Raider mission where AAA shot out my under-carriage and I ended up skidding sideways down the runway with only my nose gear....
You could try looking over at Saitek http://www.saitek.com/index.html
I think they have some affordable HOTAS set ups.
As for TrackIR, I'd go for version 5 because its the newest and has a few improvements over version 4.
Hope this helps :)
As others have said, properly trimming the aircraft before pre-contact and practise are the two main tips i can think of. It does take a long time to master.
