  1. Your controller profiles go to "C:\Users\YOURNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\InputUserProfiles". Take note that if you aren´t using the beta, i think the folder is just plain "DCS". This might be helpfull:
  2. Here are mine for Huey, work fine and i have no real issues with it. It does require a bit of getting used to. That said.. if you keep losing rotor blades, i would definitely focus on something else than controller profiles to find the issue. JR UH1H Stick.diff.lua JR UH1H Throttle.diff.lua
  3. People do have a superior ability to make anything about themselves, don't they? Go read my (entire) message again.
  4. You really can´t expect a game in constant development to run exactly the same way forever with a very old rig that could use some extra ram aswell. Surely you understand that? Now, i´m not saying there isn´t an issue with the patch either.. but you really need to manage your expectations. There comes a moment, when no matter what you do with the settings, only way to run the game decently is to just upgrade the rig. Some of the posts in this topic give a feeling that if a game doesn´t run on their rig, exactly with the settings they want to use with the fps they need to have, game is automatically faulty. I mean like OP has Haswell, it was amazing for its day.. but it´s most certainly the next day now. That´s almost 8 years old cpu. That said, i really hope they find a flaw and they find some more fps in a form of a fix, but this might not happen. If the fps drop doesn´t show up in developers tests despite attempts, there´s nothing for them to fix.
  5. Yes i am. This is the one i use (it's amazing). https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318301/ It has wrong path in the description (has one folder too many), i've added the correct folder structure below. Of course alter accordingly to match your system, and if you are running beta. After files extracted and copied to correct place, then just go to settings in game and choose your new cockpit. X:\Users\Your Name\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\Cockpit_FW190D9\English - Blacked
  6. I'm more than happy with my darkened cockpit, but yeah.. new external textures would make this plane wonders.
  7. DCS Liberation - Road to Dubai.. first turn provides some damn fine atmosphere.
  8. Possibly something to do with the big game update that came out yesterday, don´t know anything more. I don´t use DCS UFC currently since the stuff i fly atm don´t need it.
  9. This comment is actually a bit silly (sorry). All it means is the game is using them less. Usually what you'd want is the game to utilize hardware as much as possible, which would mean that temps go up. This is not an issue, unless something is wrong with users hardware, ie. crappily cooled laptop, too much dust, high ambient temp etc. resulting in too high temps.
  10. You need to have DCSUtil.exe running, it can be found in "C:\Users\YourUserName\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\pw-dev_script\Utilities". After that just enable the F-keys in the settings of DCS UFC and you should have them on the map screen in the UFC. Take note that the "DCS.openbeta" folder can be also called "DCS" if you aren´t using the open beta version of the game.
  11. Thanks a lot! I'm sure that should help a few people. Turns our Bome didn't like my Akai device (or vice versa), and crashes it quite regularily forcing me to re-plug it. Oh well..
  12. Any chance you would give some extra info? I am currently looking at both programs, but can´t think of any reasonable way to make sliders work.
