  1. I must say focussing on LO and DCS only, I'm quite happy with my E8400 @ 2x4GHz. At least I have it since a while and don't feel too much the need to replace it. And for christmas there will come a Ati HD5850 1024mb 256bit and a SSD for system and programs. Looking forward to how that will perform. At least I won't have to buy a whole new rig again.
  2. Damn, where did they get the MK83s from???
  3. Hey Pyroflash, don't mix up heading and bearing! That can be dangerous... ;)
  4. AI improvements look very promising! Has target-priority- and ammunition-logics been reworked too??? I mean do Bradleys still fire TOW-missiles at soldiers with rifles while 800m behind these soldiers enemy APCs are closing?? This fact ruins very much each of my mission-designs...
  5. Can you from a 12.000ft hard-deck in a windy environment??? :music_whistling:
  6. Ok, when you got penetration-techniques that makes things happen... But to destroy tanks or thick concrete with a simple iron bomb a 82 is sometimes a bit too weak. However, thanks for that input!
  7. Oh, never knew... Thanks guys! Don't they (USAF) ever feel like I do, when a 82 seems too small while a 84 would be a bit too much? :music_whistling:
  8. May I ask why the A-10 (the "A" in LO as well as the "C") doesn't support the Mk83 bombs?
  9. Another question: Found the "TPz Fuchs" in the pictures folder (there it's just titled TPZ). But I can't find a corresponding text-file. Further it should have a 7.62mm MG3 mounted (mountable) on the cabin-roof, while the picture shows it with no weapons. That means it will have no weapon in-game, right?
  10. According to the pic you posted I'd say: Yellow lines: TO exclusive Red lines: Landing area Circles: Helicopter landing spots
  11. Yeah, attack-ranges are a good point. But I wonder if they depend on the units set skill-level. And yes, Vikhrs seem to be a good measurement. However, both will require a lot of testing.... @Devs: Is the armor-level somehow somewhere defined? It would save me some hours if I could get my hands on those numbers...
  12. Maybe check if you mapped [space] + [RALT] instead of [RALT] + [space]?
  13. Are we talking about rockets or missiles? ... as missiles require a launch authorization... Just to make sure this isn't the issue...
  14. Look closer: He said ONE bullet is fired. That looks to me like this is caused by a smal delay in his mapping between the [space] and [RALT] buttons beeing "pressed". Else I would agree with you!
  15. I think it's more a problem with the release-delay rather than his key-mapping. His mapping looks correct.
  16. I can't give you precise numbers, but we tried that already and it worked quite deadly -> Launchers close to estimated approach-path of AC, Radar far behind. The SPO-15 gave them a deadly false information about threat-distance! ;)
  17. You need to hold the fire-button a while until missiles release. Bombs will release immediately after pressing the button.
  18. Here's a preview of how I thought it should be. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or wishes! Btw.: "Armor Level" is a something to define how many hits of XY (don't know yet what will be suitable for this measurement) it takes to destroy the unit. I'll have to do some testings to find out the values for each and every unit/object.
  19. Makes sense, as it has no wing-tip-pylons and though all the load mounted close to the length-axxis.
  20. Thanks for link Speedbrake, but I'm afraid I'll need to start from the very beginning. A question for the ED-guys: Will vehicles performance change with "DCS:A-10C"? I need to know, because it will be a lot of work to do this units-overview, and it would be too bad, if I'd have to start again after the A-10C-release.
  21. Great mate, TY! Yes, I already thought about putting weapon and corresponding units together. And yes, range will definetly be included!
  22. Hi guys, does anybody know, where the pictures (and maybe also the info-texts) of the enzyclopedia are stored, and how they could be extracted? I thought about making a small printable reference-table for mission makers, including a small picture of each unit and the most important information of each unit (letting weight, length and so on out). TY
  23. TY Vekkinho! Looking forward to see some pics over there!
  24. Blindspot, are there any plans to integrate nomdeplumes patch into a future version of your mod? That way one would only have to check for updates of one file. Btw.: Great work man!!!!
