If using Open Beta multi-threading then it is broken
-
I think you mean Vaicom as opposed to VoiceAttack. Voice attack is just emulating key stokes. Vaicom is integrated into DCS and can cause issues if not updated correctly i.e. after a DCS update, close DCS, start VoiceAttack so Vaicom plugin can update DCS files and then start DCS.

10060 is a connection timeout, which can be because of your firewall settings for DCS. See

Is this in the F-16 Maverick training mission? Or any plane / maverick? If it is the F-16 AGM-65 Maverick Training then there is a fixed mission here. Was reported but is still not fixed See

reported earlier Motion Blur and Multithreading
AdrianL replied to Eplopi's topic in Multi-Threading Bug Reports (Temp)
Just above the motion blur slider is the motion blur dropdown. Set to 'Off' -
You only have hyper threading on your P-Cores so you have exactly 32 threads (logical processors) 8 P-Cores, 16 E-Cores = 24 Cores Add 8 threads to your 8 P-Cores for HyperThreading = 32 I am running on a 13900KF with no issues so far with hyperthreading on. Getting some amazing FPS on the few instant action flights I have taken

See https://steamdb.info/app/223750/history/ Not sure how much you can read into this

The fact the price changed if you own both maps is one thing. Economics changed, whatever. But that no reference was made to this change is not okay. It's like they hoped people would not notice.
-
From the Oct 7th newsletter it said that if you own the Channel and Normandy map the upgrade will be $9.99. No mention of this in the current newsletter. Just the $14.99 price. So is this still the case?

If the misspelling is intentional then it is to avoid trademarks, not copyright. Only ED can answer this. See this for more detail. https://law.stackexchange.com/questions/1391/are-the-names-of-guns-protected-under-copyright-law-in-the-us Call of Duty does not use real gun names, for example, even although most people know what gun is being represented. This was not always the case but does now to get around licensing and trademark issues. PS! M4 is deemed a generic term, after a law suite between Colt and Heckler & Koch.

fixed F-86 Show me your Gun skills in a short track replay
AdrianL replied to BIGNEWY's topic in Bugs and Problems
Known issue. You can read the thread below. Also recommend you post F-86 issues in the Sabre forum -
Anytime between April till 2024 sometime. You just got the pre-order, which gave you a discount. EA has not had any release date announced.

Need help, lost access to google authenticaction
AdrianL replied to sky_PeterVonBraum's topic in General Bugs
When you enabled authentication, you would have got 10 backup recovery codes. You need to use one of those https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1187538?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop Chances of google support disabling authentication is very slim. Having email access does not prove much -
known issue AWACS E-2D reporting as "E-2C" from getTypeName()
AdrianL replied to Elphaba's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
Fixing this would be a breaking change so might to break existing missions. Why it would be a bad idea to address this now -
Yes. See https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/500/#3303126 Only steam to standalone. No standalone transfer to steam
-
Pretty sure, if ED went bankrupt, they would do something to keep people having access to their current licenses. Not sure I would even worry about this. As for steam vs standalone, ED have stated they happy either way so not sure why this is still being discussed. Make the choice that works for you
-
You still would need to authenticate against ED for auth data, as in standalone. So there is no difference. Offline mode is only so long.
-
And you only have yourself to blame for this. It is very clear in the terms and conditions, from the start of the programme You not planning on buying ED modules ever again? And there are still the trials.

Will the USN/USMC version be a separate module?
AdrianL replied to Chewmann's topic in DCS: F-4 Phantom
All they have announced is that there will be a navy variant and that will be a separate module to purchase i.e. will not be part of the DCS: F-4E product See the FAQ Q: Will there be a Navy F-4? A: Yes! Our Phantom journey only begins with the -E. However, owing to the complexity of the work and investment of time and effort, it will not be included in the DCS: F-4E product. We’re instead choosing to focus on providing the most content rich F-4E we possibly can, and then set our sights on further telling the legendary story of the F-4. -
Yes. See https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/steam/#3303126 I did it following those instructions. People just have to be aware that it is 1 way i.e. you transferring licenses from steam to ED store. Licenses purchased on the ED store do not transfer to steam
