I think you mean Vaicom as opposed to VoiceAttack. Voice attack is just emulating key stokes. Vaicom is integrated into DCS and can cause issues if not updated correctly i.e. after a DCS update, close DCS, start VoiceAttack so Vaicom plugin can update DCS files and then start DCS.

10060 is a connection timeout, which can be because of your firewall settings for DCS. See

You only have hyper threading on your P-Cores so you have exactly 32 threads (logical processors) 8 P-Cores, 16 E-Cores = 24 Cores Add 8 threads to your 8 P-Cores for HyperThreading = 32 I am running on a 13900KF with no issues so far with hyperthreading on. The fact the price changed if you own both maps is one thing. Economics changed, whatever. But that no reference was made to this change is not okay. It's like they hoped people would not notice.

Pretty sure, if ED went bankrupt, they would do something to keep people having access to their current licenses. Not sure I would even worry about this. As for steam vs standalone, ED have stated they happy either way so not sure why this is still being discussed. Make the choice that works for you

You still would need to authenticate against ED for auth data, as in standalone. So there is no difference. Offline mode is only so long.
