Yes, the key you have now will work with the module downloaded from the Eagle store. So 1. Download DCS: World and install it 2. Download the DCS: A10C Module and install it Run DCS World and start a A10C mission, you will then be asked for a key. Enter the key you received when you bought the standalone version and it will activate.

The FSX rain effects are good. Trying to navigate back to your base in the rain or trying to pick out ground objects through a rain soaked window would be a great challenge.

Yes the airfield FPS is extremely poor on the new version. I love your missions though, could you perhaps ditch all the SAM sites at the airfield and perhaps maybe move the FARPS away from the airfield in general? When it's busy FPS drops to almost unplayable levels.

Seems odd to me that the Queen Elizabeth class Carrier will be in service years before it has the ability to carry aircraft. I know the old carriers needed replacing but to not have the forethought to have both the aircraft and the carrier operational at the same time is a tad embarrassing.

If you don't have any GPS guided ordnance (JDAMS) a flashing a stead INS NAV RDY should suffice.

How is this acheived? Mod or something?

The whole of the sim is LUA based though and editing mission parameters would require the LUA script to be read on the fly, im not sure thats possible.

I understand, but it's still a lot for something thats meant to entice players. The first thing someone looks at is the price. I'm sure some have looked at the price tag and not read any further. Anyway, I still fail to understand where FC3 fits in the grand scheme of DCS World. It's been announced that the F15C and Su27 will both get AFM updates with individually downloadable modules for DCS World, so that immediately discounts two aircraft from the FC3 package. I can accept FC3 for what it is and as it stands it's a great package, but from the future announcements already made it seems that it is being pushed toward the margins by ED. Personally if FC3 didn't exist and ED offered a cheap download like they are planning to do, this would be infinitely preferable than a single 50 dollar download which offers a few basic aircraft. FC3 as it stands is a mish-mash of differing levels of aircraft. The MiG variants haven't been given the same love as some others and the 33 seems to have been largely ignored. If I were ED, I would drop FC3 completely and streamline the whole DCS World system so that it does away with FC3 and offer the individual aircraft separately. That way we know what to expect.

I doubt it'll get much love though apart from the occasional major bug fix. And if it really wants to attract new players the price has to drop, substantially. $49.99(!)

I'm wondering if FC3 support will be deprecated after 12 months or so. I can see FC style modules being available for free for owners of FC3 in the future and the FC3 gracefully retired from the DCS World.

FC3 is in the final stages of being completed then left to fizzle out I think. I think it concludes EDs contractual obligations to Ubisoft (publisher of LOMAC). Then it's full steam ahead on DCS modules and other DCS World goodies.

I dunno. But if you head directly south to the end of the map with the carrier something strange happens
