  1. Hi @Zarma, thanks for sharing and it is a good lesson. I also find another resource @ https://tacview.fandom.com/wiki/User_Guide_–_DCS_World for the FPS issue. Thanks!!
  2. Thanks for sharing and it is very useful.
  3. @Moezilla, it is a good point and that was the reason I ran "DCS steam version" since both binaries should be identical according to BIGNEWY's posting. Thanks again for tuning the graph settings (I will check them again), and I did try these steps when the lagging was occurred.
  4. I found out my issue. My DCS is running from Steam, and Steam provides two versions: 1. Steam DCS edition, and 2. Preview MT version. The "Steam DCS edition" one is very buggy and lagging, especially FPS (not playable). The "Preview MT version" is the good one and very stable. Just share it with the Steam users. EDIT: I have done lots of home works and lots player helps and "Play DCS World Steam Edition" works for me. My summary can be found in the following post:
  5. Hi @Moezilla, I really thank your help because these suggestions are very helpful for me to tune my Windows since I am a UNIX person. I found out my issue since my DCS is running from Steam, and Steam has two versions: one is the Steam DCS version and another is the preview MT version. The preview MT version does work perfectly for everything but not Steam DCS version (it is very buggy and lagging). Again, thanks very helping out here...
  6. Sure, thanks.
  7. I have done 3 suggestions, and it seems that there is a kind of the improvement but lagging something. Attached my dcs log. Thanks. dcs.log
  8. What is the above setting saved in which file in the release 2.9.8.1214?
  9. Hi @Moezilla, thanks for tips... I will check one by one...
  10. In addition, I had the 140 FPS on the DCS main menu/dashboard and the F10 map was very smooth. As long as I was in the cockpit at the airfield the lagging had happened.
  11. Hi , Based on the hotfix of 2.9.8.1214, I found my FPS has been dropped into around 20 in the airfield and around 70 FPS in air. With @BIGNEWY's suggestion, I attached my dcs and dxdiag logs and hope that there is a suggestion for me. Prior to 2.9.8.1107, my DCS was running okay and no complain... Thanks. dcs.log DxDiag.txt
  12. Yes, I am facing the same issue. DCS takes almost 12GB VRAM and the range of the FPS change is huge around 30 to 80, especially applied the hotfix.
  13. Hi @virgo47, thanks for all hints... I found the tooltip does complain what the conflicts are: Personally, I never change the keybindings in General and UI layer. But the tooltip tells me that it is a conflict in the UI layer.... Since no tooltip and no binding is set... Not sure how to reproduce it.
  14. ED tech support got back to me for my screenshot: I never use this item for any button assigning... how can it be a conflict there?! Interesting....
  15. I have created a ticket "How to clear red exclamation marks in the control keybindings" with the ED tech support... let's see...
  16. I was used to have these red marks because I was on ST and switched over MT (May not be same as yours), then I went back ST once and switched over MT and it was cleared. Personally, I do not think that mime is the solution since ST is gone. I posted the same issue in the previous ED release. No answer since... I need to check if I can find a red mark in my current DCS and I can try the ED tech support... I am not sure...
  17. How is the 2.9.8.1107 goes since ED has made some improvements? Thanks.
  18. A quick question about the release version, I saw "2.9.8.1107 MT" at the right bottom of the corner. "MT" suffix will be always displayed going forward? Thanks.
  19. ST is R.I.P. now, so does Alt+Enter...
  20. Thanks, this is a cool suggestion...
  21. added for the bookkeeping...
  22. added for the issue monitoring.
  23. is this settings good for the high-end GPUs, like 4090? Thanks.
  24. In case missed the updates from HB, there is one:
