Keine schlechte Idee, leider ohne Wirkung.
-
Keine Mods, rein Vanilla.

He does. At least for me. I got several tries, one was a friendly huey, others were player clients in ah64 and ka50s. Every time i got near, Jester started shouting "let´s do this !" or "shoot him shoot him!"

New to the lady. Recently, i noticed for every helicopter my buddy Jester sees (yes, own faction), he calls out bandit and goes even crazier (he´s on our six ! shoot him shoot him !) when we get closer. Anything i´m missing or is this a known bug ?

For research purpose: Reason was all modules that i bought on STEAM and that were transferred to standalone, got deactivated. I went on and transferred them again to my DCS account - working again.

So today, first time getting this when trying to start up DCS: Stable Version 2.8.4.39731 What i tried: Checked system time, synced it again to be safe, checked antivirus, restarted several times, ran MT Version as well as standard Version, started using the updater.exe. Still persistant message as seen above. I own all listed modules and have no trial modules installed. Now what ?

AI wont land on a carrier but only for me?

Glad it´s working -
AI wont land on a carrier but only for me?
Jel replied to haugge's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
To clarify: I´ve loaded up your mission and watched the setup: 1 F14 (AI) inbound for Stennis Carrier. Weather calm, carrier steady. The AI plane starts approaching and does the overhead, breaks and enters the usual Case1 approach pattern. Nothing unusual. Landing also is ok, according to the skill setting it´s cable 1-4 (i´ve let it run around 15 times). No crashes, no deviations. Weird issue if this doesn´t work on YOUR end here. I can´t really think of any cause since the setup seems fine. Maybe provide your mission dowload for others so that we can collect some other ideas here. -
Yes, that´s basically what i stated above. I still hope they adapt to this standard, especially considering other switches in the MB do follow that standard.

Yep, you´re not alone

You positive the generators die and not the engines ? Yes a track replay would be helpful i guess.
-
-
My first guess would be a keybind inteferring with your gen switches. Can you verify ? Any bindings on your HOTAS ? If yes, which system are you using ?

Mach Limit/Critical mach? Gunsight position?
Jel replied to James DeSouza's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
My point was you have to lean - left or right - in order to see the VSI. Yes it does work and yes you can work around that but having to lean in order to see a vital instrument is not as convenient as one might expect Or maybe we expect too much ? -

what bothers me more is having the VSI directly behind the sight. You can´t really see anything unless you lean to the left as pilot - making long flights tricky to maintain altitude or to adjust your trim. -
Out of curiosity: You are draining the outer tanks at least a bit first before switching to external tanks ? I noticed that when externals are selected too early, their transferring flow into already full outer wing tanks leads to excessive spilling of fuel Which is kind of a neat feature.

Ah i thought something like that. Thanks for the image, seems to clear things up

I know this is accurate so that´s mainly because of interest: Is there any information on how the shortened exhausts are arranged ? I can see 5 on each side of the Merlin and immediately start wondering, how a v12 engine gets around using not 12 but only 10 pipes. Is there a pair on each engine conducted somewhere i can´t see from the cockpits pov ?

Strange things happen when I take off
Jel replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in DCS: MB-339
Just tested and indeed, the axis indicator for the wheel brakes seem to be bugged as well on this module. Didn´t see that at first since i never use this indicator Anyways, i´ve had the MB rolling at 150 on heavy loadout without any tyres popping. It will happen eventually but i don´t think it to do so already at just around +-135 -
Seriously ?

Also: Your wheel brakes are applied as it seems. Check the red window in your lower left. Maybe you want to invert the axis.
