I noticed on some occasions, having landed, rearmed, refueled and trying to takeoff again, i won´t get any power out of the Anton. Throttle - moves fine but ata sticks at 10 and rpm won´t climb above 15. Engine also spitting like a lama on drugs. Checking: circuit breakers - all set (on) Fuel - fine. tanks full, pumps working. oil - fine. pressure ok+stable, temp @around +- 50/60°) electrics - fine. ground power disconnected. rpm selector - back on auto cooling flaps - open Ordered Ground Crew to repair - finished - same result. So i wondered what am i missing ? It´s bee a while since i last really worked on the Anton and i just got some 2 or 3 hours in again. Anything i might have overlooked ?

Can we disable the F10 map for, let´s say, a specified flight group ?
-
So after some experimenting in Multiplayer we found that, as soon as more than 1 F18 is trying to land CaseIII, at least one or even neither of us gets a proper ACLS lock. There´s an "ACL Ready" but only with T/C and no Mode1 indication, meaning you can couple up but get CPL HDG only instead of the desired P/R. On some instances, the other F18 doesn´t even get ANY data on the ACL page during the marshall stack, despite having set up Link4 correctly and doing everything identical as the rest of the flight. Flying alone, all is fine. 10 approaches and 10 times perfectly locked ACLS with hands-free touchdown. As soon as 1 buddy joings the Hornets, issue as above begin. Had this popping up during the past months on several maps, marianna, caucasus, syria. Different clients, different hosts. Anyone else experiencing this ?

Still looking for the icons to make my own profile. I really don´t want to screenshot every single one

AH64D (Pilot) Steuerungsoptionen: 1.

That might explain why older airframes like the Huey are very much able to do what newer ones can´t I´m familiar with rl operation, just wondering if there wasn´t any hidden feature i might have overlooked for the DCS AH64. Thanks for the details.

So i noticed the AH64 can decently find emitters between 100 and 2199.5 KHZ. Is this all the bird offers in order to find, for example, own troops ? Any way of UHF homing ? FM band ?

A-10C II - Changing MFDs from MAV to TGP changes WHOT to BHOT
Jel replied to NightMan's topic in Bugs and Problems
Well theres´s the Boat switch to toggle between whot and bhot. This switch works both for the mav and the TGP, so if you set it to bhot on one sensor, its position should technically also be recognized by the other sensor when switching back. Seems like "by design" for me. -
fixed Nooo..What happened with the Huey Start Up Stability ?

Thank you for your response. Sad to hear that a fundamental mechanic like this is supposedly known for so long and still remains untouched. Talk about priorities -
fixed Nooo..What happened with the Huey Start Up Stability ?
Jel replied to Volator's topic in DCS: UH-1H
So after getting a little nostalgic on retirement, i decided to hop into the DCS Huey again. Boy what a ride it is, although some really big issues still kind of bother me. One of them is the massive shaking during turbine runup. I´ve seen the Bird vibrating and wobbling during startup, but what we got in DCS feels too much. I don´t remember the Huey doing any kind of that excessive shaking at any given rpm. On the other side, it´s been 20 years since i last had a ride, anyone here who maybe has a more recent memory of the lady ? -
Hm yeah seems like the calculations are off by around 100 - 500 pounds depending on the external loadout. Flying in a clean configuration is "almost" identical - off only by 10 or 20.
-
When checking my VREST page, i usually see the calculated weight not being the same as seen in the rearm/refuel window. I was under the impression VREST calculates ALL relevant parts (fuel, water, stores, etc.) Are there parts of the Harrier that don´t get calculated automatically ? Or did i miss anything ?

w.i.p IHADSS Boresighting - circles stay concentric. Bug ?

Ah, see - Finally some1 who knows the rl image. Thanks for the insights. -
w.i.p IHADSS Boresighting - circles stay concentric. Bug ?
Jel replied to Jel's topic in Bugs and Problems
I posted because it WAS working ever since, nothing about missing improvements. I guess i´ll take this as a "yes it´s a bug" -
So some ppl including me came across this weird issue since latest update 2.7.18.30765 When boresighting IHADSS, the circles should both move afaik, to be alligned concentric by the pilot in order to set. Currently, both circles stay concentric when moving, instead the pair moves as whole. Has anything changed that i´m missing or is this considered a bug ?

fixed A/A missiles growling when plane is OFF
Jel replied to Sacarino111's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
Same here. After turning OFF generator and batteries, Aim9 lock tone starts screaming. Turns off after i turn on batteries again. Definitively a bug. -
Seems the throttle detent thingy is still present. Just bought this bird and realized, the Idle/off detent is still working inverted. As a workaround, i just click the detent with the mouse once i´m in the cockpit, after this the HOTAS throttle detent works fine. Is there still work to fix this bug or am i just stupid ?

Trimming the Aircraft with Targeting Pod Mounted
Jel replied to brucewhf's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Well "le car" also is not french. But if we had to explain every joke, most of them wouldn´t be funny any more -

one guy actually asked me once why the cockpit also has french labels ("le flaps")... It took me a while to realize he was serious about that question... -

which basically would be a real life solution Would be nice if we´d get an addition to the loadout menu telling us not only the overall weight but also the balance. -

Flying means trimming, trimming means flying. Even on jets with FCS, your surfaces will produce different lift, depending on various factors like airspeed, angle, etc.. Although your FCS will compensate most of it, with every change in values you will have to re-evaluate your trimm settings. There is no "perfect" trimm with asymmetric loadout. Try trimming a little more decently, small blips only, you will see it works quite well. -
Experiencing the same, gun issue only. I noticed that putting CPG in fire-at-will (green) mode "sometimes" works, although only without any relative movement. Manually commanding him to fire never does anything except George saying "firing". I already switched using the gun by myself as pilot but i really wished George would use it more conveniently.

Thanks for the effort and trying I´ve tested your approach, another good idea with the "leaving zone". Unfortunately, the chopper also won´t unload. The good news however: The moving zone itself DOES work, at least for all assets EXPECT cargo transport. I´ve tested it with a plane crossing the moving zone some miles later, similar to the YT tutorial of the Reapers linked above - works fine. So i guess the zone doesn´t actually contiuously move with the linked unit but only snaps to it when the trigger condition is met. So I´d say let´s drop this task since even IF we get it to work, the cargo wouldn´t remain static on the deck anyways.
