When 2.5.6 came out, I noticed a lot of people mentioning worse FPS in VR. I didn't and actually thought I noticed an increase. Anyway a few days ago I updated my windows to 1909 and after that I had stuttering and noticed a big decrease in FPS. It could be because I played other missions or something. I am not sure tbh but before I rarely got below 40 FPS (Rift S) unless I was on a crowded airport. Just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

When I'm in a dogfight, the big X on the HUD, usually gets in my way of aiming the reticle on the target. Is there any way to turn it off, like a circuit breaker? I guess not, but just wanted to check. Have a nice day all.

Why should I be upset just because I ask a question? My question was simply why there is communication from Heatblur on a different site and not here. That is all. Not angry or upset. Why would I be ?

Yes I know but before the update to the Viggen, there was a reply on hoggit that no update was coming to the tomcat and viggen. This was later changed. I just think this information would be useful here as well. We have seen before, update information from third party developers not being in the update list from ED

I was wondering why I have to find news on the recent update on hoggit and not here?

Yes, huge thanks to the team! I am enjoying the game more and more and I played since LOMAC. Just enjoyed a mission in the F/A-18 during night and the light, moon and stars was fantastic. I can't wait to see what the future brings. Thanks, GVO

Overall the new lightning looks really good! The stars though, just looks like painted dots on a roof (at least on my PC). Now it really feels like I'm flying indoor :) But overall really happy with the patch. Everything just looks much nicer and no FPS drop for me (Rift S).

My FPS went up after the update. I can even have MSAA on now (x2) and at least the same, if not more, FPS than before. I'm using Rift S

Thanks for the reply. May I ask if it’s on a to-do list or in progress? Just to know what to expect in terms of a timeframe. If the work hasn’t been started, I would assume we’re at least looking at a 3-6 months?

What I thought was interesting, was to always keep an eye on your wingsweep and act accordingly and how you can manipulate it (with speed and angle). It should be obvious but never thought about it when dogfighting.

Haha yeah I know what you mean, but for anyone that don't want to see it because it's them, it's not a guy from Grim Reapers going through the tips for the F-14 :) He has some very interesting thoughts on how to use the wingposition and flaps during a fight.

So many excellent pointers and tips in this video. Especially in the end where the Tomcat takes on 3 F-16's.

I just wanted to give my gratitude for the more than excellent training missions for the Harrier. If only other planes had the same level of detail in training. I've been away for some time from the Harrier and it's so easy getting back into it with all the new features with those missions. Well done! Have a nice evening, GVO
