Hi.. I installed the update. I could see 3 ground crew.. but one of them named m92_personnel_salute.. not like _anim in your video. Also this figure doesn't move or salute.. behaves like static figures (with or without trigger abs alarm state). I got this under infantry and not statics. Is it the correct version you posted or am I doing something wrong?

I am an ardent fan of your mod and thank you for the wonderful work that you have done to bring a highly sought new generation fighter to dcs. Are you working on the cockpit as part of future updates ? I would like to point out that one thing which aesthetically doesn't match with the real cockpit is the hud sitting very far below the cockpit canopy which is not the case with the real jet. In real life I can see very less space between the hud and the canopy frame. Hope you will add this as an item to correct in future.

I do have a "Generation Kill" Humvee pack in the pipes but there's still a lot of work to be done.

The first wave of civilian vehicles is nearing completion. Still some polishing and cleaning up to do but it should be ready soon.

@El PhantasmoI remember seeing a scud Salvo being successfully engaged and destroyed by the patriot system (ED native) and the s300vm gladiator (high digit sam mod) in some of my missions..however this was long back about the time when HDSM came out. Not sure how the dynamics are now.

Just wanted to say thank you as you are here.. your mods have been worth a lot for me in missions, the quality us really impressive and it brings a lot of life to the airfields ranges and forward bases..

I can't get the jtac missions in me while navigating to open mission. I have the missions copied under saved games - dcs - missions. I also saw a localization.lua which I copied to same missions folder. Restarted dcs world but can't see tye missions. The jtac mod is installed. What am I doing wrong.?

I don't hear weapon sounds especially for guns in land vehicles and ships when they are fired. For ships I can hear the sounds if viewing the ship from front.. but from the sides or back the sounds are absent. Similar problem for land vehicles. There are sounds present for missiles but that also only heard from certain angles especially in ships.
I'm running latest ob version as of today. I have tried dcs repair couple of times.
Is this game issue or some potential mod conflict ?

This is by far the best Christmas present in dcs. I was about to ask on the other thread about these US navy assets which were showcased in the gr video. Waiting to try the torpedoes on these.

Agree much to the shipborne countermeasures that's something that's missing now in dcs. Same goes for land vehicles.

@currenthillanother roughly related question.. have been always intrigued whether firing rockets was possible from ships.. I mean the Salvo fired rockets like those from land based grad or mlrs.. can we setup those on ships in dcs ? Many of these Russian ships have rockets in real life.

I could not help but take time out to experience these new mods despite being busy in real life. These are amazing.. especially the drivable ships.. presents a whole new perspective of dcs landscape.
Loved the interiors of the tug and the Somali trawler (this one has a Capt. Philips poster)
Breathtaking to see the towering troll A gas platform at night which is also an engineering marvel in real life.
Learned the hard way that an lng tanker can't be maneuvered like a bmp2 after it collided at Guam port entry.
Totally unexpected to see the animation on the windmill repair ship too.
Marvelous job as always @Eight Ballthank you very much for this experience. Will post some screenshots later.
One small question : AI helicopters approach from the aft of the Troll A platform when setup for landing.. this is the side where the cranes and superstructure are and is usually a profile thats not adopted.. is it possible to change the default approach from the forward (helipad) side or from Port or starboard sides.?

Noted the same. DoF is almost absent at Andersen.. whereas that's not the case with the northern islands.

This goes under Tech folder within Mods folder.
Saved Games - Mods - Tech
If you don't have a Tech folder inside Mods folder you need to create it.

Yes it is totally rigid.. the small shaking animation of the hands etc are not present. But I see that @fagulhagot it right above. So I'm suspecting it's with my installation then, or some mod conflict. Can anyone else who installed confirm If having same issue ?
