I am having an issue that I have been experiencing for about 2 months. Unless I enable easy comms, I cannot communicate with JTACs, tankers, or AWACS. I have verified both of my radio comms (in the F-18) match the frequencies of the individual aircraft I am trying to talk to. They never respond to my calls. When I enable easy comms, they do. With easy comms enabled, I verified the freq they are responding to matches what I have in my comms and they are programmed to. No joy. This is in both a mission I created in ME as well as a Liberation campaign I am running. Anyone else have this issue?

Try redownloading it, if you haven't already. It worked for me.

I can confirm many of us saw this on our multiplayer server last night. It literally can give you vertigo while trying to land on the carrier.

F/A-18D Just my $0.02, I would take the F/A-18D using the current C status right now. I have been shouting this from the roof tops for a little while now. It will add multi-player functionality to the VERY popular hornet and add a few new features/mission sets (e.g. recce with the ATARS). If only I had a magic wand!
