Visibility Range on High is the only FPS killer I do get the heaviest FPS hits when I set Visibility Range to High and when I step in to one of the virtual cockpits. For example when I am at maximum Lock On FC settings at 1600x1200 4xAA 8xAF and I am in the cockpit of the Su-25T I get a minimum of around 35 FPS and then switch on the TV monitor the minimum FPS drops to 22, I find it very hard to believe this has any thing to do with the GPU in fact I am totally convinced this is due to the lack of CPU power that my FX-55 brings to the table. -

New nVidia Forceware drivers 77.13
Dutch60 replied to Dutch60's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Sorry Kevler then I probably can't help you! I also had some minor instability problems with my system in the first week and the also happened not only in games but also in ordinary things like word, excel, installing or surfing the net with explorer and firefox. At first I also had at strong hunch that it was my power supply or some heat or timings related problem, so I tested and tried every ting but I had no luck fixing the problem and I am a software programmer for PC software by profession so I really know something about setting up and tuning a windows system. Then after one week a called my system builder and I did take my system there and the fixed the problem in half an hour by replacing my older Plextor DVD-ROM drive by the latest model the PX-130A (at no cost). As you can imagine I was completely baffled by this fact but the told me there were already many of there customers who had the same problem and that it was related to the nForce4 chipset and the use of some DVD-ROM drives so you might try and disconnect yours and see if this helps. Good luck trying this. You could also take a look here this is the place where I spend my first week after buying my system to get it up and running stable! http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/38623/ -

Beginners question on using user made skins?
Dutch60 posted a topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Although I am certainly not a Lock On beginner and I already downloaded many skins I never really actually used them before in the game and now I want to start doing this. I know how to install the skins by using LoMan and I know I need the FC patch for LoMan, but the question is if I install a 3rd party skin using LoMan will it overwrite any default ED skin or does it add the skin and can I then select it in the Mission Layout screen? Thanks for any help. -
here Does this F-16c Mod work in Lock On FC?

ati catalyst 5.6 to bring 50% performance boost for LOMAC?
Dutch60 replied to yeasty's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
No Way I really can not believe this 50% increase, just because Lock On FC is very CPU depended and les GPU, so the probably misplaced the zero and it really should be a 5% performance increase which is already something very good.
