Saitek pro flight regular vs combat pedals?
Dutch60 replied to Nascar's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I recently switched from CH pedals to the MFG Crosswind pedals. I also switched from my other CH products stuff to the a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog setup. Wouw what A difference incredible it seems like a compleet new simulator. A good HOTAS Joystick and Throttle are very important but good pedals also make a huge difference. Find a good MFG Crosswind pedals review here: You can buy the MFG Crosswind pedals here: http://mfg.simundza.com/products -

You are correct that is the memory I ordered for my Coffee Lake rig. On the Australian webshop it was exactly 819,- Australian dollars. If I convert that to euros that is 546,- euros. So not more expensive than in Europe (Netherlands). Higher memory speeds than 3866 like 4000 or 4133 are over the top! You need to find a balance between overclocking the CPU and the memory. With some luck at a memory speed of 3866 MHz I can probably get around 4.8 or 4.9 GHz on the CPU and with some more finetuning hopefully 5 GHz.

I just looked at the order status this morning and now the build start is only waiting for the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid. So my Coffee Lake 8700K is hopefully coming soon.

The RAM costs 550 euros. But (too) expensive is a relative thing for this hobby. I just looked at the order and to my surprise I see the 8700K is already in the shop. :joystick: Only waiting for: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid M.2 Samsung 960 PRO 1 TB Logitech Mouse G900 Chaos Spectrum

DCS World TARGET profile for TM Cougar and Warthog + MFDs
Dutch60 replied to Home Fries's topic in Thrustmaster
Thanks for your quick reply on where the flap buttons are on the MFD. I must have been looking for texts like flaps up/down but now I see the symbols on the left MFD layout. Thanks. -
DCS World TARGET profile for TM Cougar and Warthog + MFDs
Dutch60 replied to Home Fries's topic in Thrustmaster
First off thanks for all these great profiles for the Thrustmaster controllers. I just received my Joystick+Throttle+2xMFD a week back and after some minor setup problems I managed to get them working. As I am a software engineer myself I really appreciate all the work that must have and probably still is going into creating and maintaning these profiles and code. I have been flying with the profiles in the A-10C in DCS 1.5.7 and DCS 2.1.1 and every thing is working just fine. Today I decided to try the profiles using the L-39C in DCS 2.1.1 and almost every thing that is documented works great. The problem I have is that the default flaps button/switch on the throttle controller is assigned to the gears and this seems strange and so I can't get the flaps working? Is there special button combination assignment to the flap controls? In the L-39C documentation I can't find anything for controlling the flaps? I am very sure that I did setup the right configuration settings in the profiles. -

VAICOM 2.0 for VoiceAttack
Dutch60 replied to Hollywood_315's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi Hollywood, Importing of the new MIG-15bis profile is giving an error? Voice Attack version is 1.5.8.14 (prerelease) on OS Windows 10 x64 Error Dialog: Error loading profile data. [There is an error in XML document (2439, 8).] The string '' is not a valid Boolean value. There seems something wrong in the XML? Hope you can figure out what is wrong? Love to fly the MIG-15bis. -
Thanks

I have the three DCS World versions running side by side in separate folders: DCS World 1.0 DCS World 1.5.2 Open Beta DCS World 2.0 Open Alpha When I start my main DCS World 1.0 it now also displays version 1.5.2. Is the main DCS World version now the same as the 1.5.2 Open Beta version? So am I correct to assume that I can safely uninstall the 1.5.2 Open Beta? This would cleanup a nice size of 22 GB from the SSD that I am running DCS World on. Thanks.

Running Dual EVGA GTX Titan Super Clocked. Extremely happy with the performance... But you need the CPU to support them!

I have LockOn FC 1.12b running the on starforce security from the DVD, so I have to put the DVD in my drive once a every week. Now I have two simple questions: 1. Can I update this FC1 DVD version with en English FC2 download version or do I have to wait for the FC2 DVD upgrade to become available in the shops? 2. If I upgrade my FC1 DVD version with the FC2 download version do I still have to put my FC1 DVD in the drive every week or do I get the online starforce security system just like with DCS Black Shark? If somebody can please answer this, thanks. As I am very excited about the LockOn FC 2.0 release I do not want to wait for the FC2 DVD. :pilotfly:
