Need a few people to test an installation
Dutch60 replied to Ironhand's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Worked just fine for me! I think that sins Lock On FC is not officially supported by LoMan anymore this is a better way to distribute your wonderful Training Tracks. Thanks! -
Top Gun 20 years later. (Nice movie ala Hot Shots)

LOL very funny -
Hi KuostA, these are some very COOL shots!

All I can say is WOW, thanks again Ironhand. Learning from the master in a training mission is so much better than reading the manual. And if you can find the time please keep those Su-25T training mission tracks coming.

Your argument is reasonable, I agree.

Sorry but I do not seem to have this problem? I am running at 1600x1200 32bit color 4xAA 8xAF

Hi TucksonSonny, Yes I have had my FX SLI system now for about three weeks and I really love it. You really should try the Heat Blur ON it looks so cool and there is no performance hit on my system and I also thought AA would be bullshit at 1600x1200 but it’s not at 4xAA it looks super especially combined with the 8xAF and again no performance hit the only thing holding the system back is the FX-55. The thing that does give some performance hit is Visibility Range High and I think this is not a graphics problem but and processor problem because the processor now has way more objects to put into the picture. When you will get FC you will see a performance increase. Here is the link to SimWare to buy Lock On FC, and yes I paid with VISA for it. http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsp_product_details&pid=1338 -
Thanks for the tip!

FC on CD... starforce protection again?
Dutch60 replied to zorlac's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Thanks ED for the CD release in the west A very big thanks ED for bringing this baby to us on CD. I am very happy I waited for this CD release to finally happen. I will be ordering at http://www.simw.com -
No it's not total nonsense as I am a programmer (not a hacker) my self. But I think for real hackers this is just the challenge.
-
Check Dmut's post at the top of page 6 of this thead. It sounds like it won't work unless you have the specific software that StarForce uses to do clever things to the keys . . . . but I can't confirm that. Sorry but SF was cracked before just look at Soldiers Heroes of World War II
-
One other quick question and I know this may be dangerous to ask, as this is a version of SF that does not check the legitimacy of a hardcopy CD that must be present in one of your CD/DVD drives but it uses the internet to register you in some way, would it not be easy to write some local service running on your local machine that would trick SF protection into thinking you are registering on the internet while in fact it is being registered by a crack service on the machine :?:
-
I use these input devices and I am very very happy with them :!: The all are USB and have very good software that comes with them. CH Products full HOTAS setup TrackIR 3 Pro
-
Just one simple question, what would happen if all the SF key check servers would crumble and die on us under the load of a DOS (Denial of Service) attack, would we then all be unable to startup FC or will we only be unable to register our legitimate download copy of FC. :?:
