  1. Ok clear I missed that one! Thanks. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk
  2. My DCS World 1.5.8 Open Beta just updated to 1.5.8.13716.422. Was this the final update for the 1.5.8 Open Beta before the update to 2.5 Open Beta? There is no mention of this update in the change logs for 1.5.8. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147601&page=2 Last update was 1.5.8.13504 Update 2.
  3. +1 Yes please support VIACOM PRO. Maybe you can give us some advice on how to use VIACOM PRO from your fantastic TARGET software. :helpsmilie: Thanks.
  4. I know the game must also support SLI it is not only done through the driver. I believe SLI has not been really supported after FC3. My previous system had two GTX Titan (original) cards so I really tried to get this to work. DCS did never run very well using both cards and there was not enough FPS improvement. I now run a singe GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid with a G-Sync monitor an that works way better.
  5. It is coming. :pilotfly: New updater has support for 2.5 migration. :smilewink:
  6. I have a 1 TB SSD (Samsung 850 Pro) specially reserved for DCS. :smartass: So besides DCS 1.5.8 Final Release and 2.2.x Open Alpha I just started installing DCS 1.5.8 Open Beta. :joystick: I hope that move will still let me update to the DCS 2.5 Open Beta version by the end of January.
  7. When will stage 2 (release update) be available? Two more extra weeks after stage 1 (beta update)?
  8. Will stage 1 (beta update) and stage 2 (release update) both be available by the end of January?
  9. The F-16 Falcon / Viper high quality module by ED would make me very happy.
  10. I just bought the F-18 Hornet and find it to be a reasonable price for what we will eventually get. A price of 80 dollars for a high quality module is not too expensive and now it's priced at only 60 dollars plus you get 16 dollars bonus to spend on other stuff. Most of the wannabe fighter pilots on these forums probably spend thousands of dollars on the hardware needed just to run this simulator. I would buy an high quality F-16 Falcon (Viper) module at double the price if was coming from ED and up for per-order. So ED keep up the quality work and keep the modules coming.
  11. Just bought the F-18 Hornet. Now lets have the F-16 Falcon. :joystick:
  12. Can the forum admin please make this thread a Sticky!
  13. All is fixed and running again. Thanks for all the help. :pilotfly:
  14. Found the list of module, terrain and campaign names. Now going through the commands.......... :music_whistling: Have to repeat this process for 2.1.x. Plus I will probably need to manually update every time an update arrives. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
  15. Just did some command promt stuff... The command promt is old stuff it's now called Windows Power Shell. :smartass: .\DCS_updater repair this went ok no repair needed. .\DCS_updater update this went ok no update needed. .\DCS_updater install F-86F here I got a firewall popup warning so i added the rull allow for dcs_update.exe access. and then the module installed when starting DCS it now asked for the activation key. entred the key and the module was installed. But from the Module Manager I still can't install modules? So now I need to install all my modules from a Power Shell command. Can you please give me a list of all posible module names I can use with the install command? :joystick:
  16. Just stopped the Windows Firewall and Windows Virus scanner. Restarted DCS and again could install a module. So the Windows Firewall and Windows Virus scanner are running again. :smartass:
  17. I am a software developer so I have no problem using a command prompt. But why do I need to use a command prompt to update DCS or more importand install a module that I bought? I simply should be able to click install enter my key and go flying!

  20. Need HELP to install DCS modules on new computer! Just moved DCS to a new computer but the "Install" button in the module manager stops DCS and does not start it again with the installation of the selected module? Did you deactivate the modules on the old computer: Yes. Did you uninstall the modules from the old computer: Yes. Did you install DCS on the new computer: Yes. Are you logged in to DCS on the new computer: Yes. Do you see the modules on the new computer: Yes. Are there "Install" buttons on the new computer: Yes (for the modules I own). Any more ideas?

  22. I totally underestimated the mining craziness! I ordered a complete new Coffee Lake system: MOBO Asus Maximus X Hero CPU 8700K RAM G.Skill 3866 GPU EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid and some other stuff... Guess what part I am still waiting for: - I was worried about the 8700K but it was delivered 2 weeks ago! - I am still waiting 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid On the website the shop said 10+ days! But I am already waiting for 14 days for this video card. The shop now says EVGA will deliver the cards on the 8th of November! That is mining craziness...
  23. Wow nice only 1.212V for a 8600K @ 5GHz and 70C on air! Did you delid your CPU? For my 8700K i ordered an Corsair H115i that I will run in Push-Pull setup with ML140 fans. I don't plan on delidding the CPU. I am planning on getting a Oculus Rift CV1 with my new system. Any indication on what FPS you are getting in VR? What VR device are you using?
  24. Sorry but I have also owned a Saitek pedel set and several other Saitek flight gear stuff when I was still flying FSX. Compared to the CH product stuff the Saitek is not as good. As for the pedals if you have the money go for the MFG Crosswinds!
  25. As DCS 2.x is more and more GPU depended. It's becoming more importend that AMD pushes NVIDIA. Currently it's NVIDIA that is pushing AMD.
