Ok, i think i worked it out, i was flipping the ACM cover up, just tried with it down an all good... user error.. as always

Yeh it is ! thats why i thought maybe there was an update or something ive missed, as ive already completed the 2 included campaigns and fear the bones with it working fine, but now they just dont track in TWS and no timer after firing. rewatched the guides and all seems right, but all the guides are 2 years old usually. Its only an issue in the F14. What steps do you take from master arm on?

Ever since a few updates ago, i cant seem to get TWS to work at all?! The nails show up on HSD and flash (but i thought they used to be white, but are now green) but as soon as i fire, missile doesn't track, and i don't get the TTI timer next to it?. Before, id select the Aim54's an Jester would automatically set them in TWS an when in range i just fire, but now the only way i can get targets at all is through STT which is pretty annoying in large group merges, as can only really get 1 or 2 shots off. Has something changed recently that Ive missed?

So i think i figured it out, i was setting my AT at M0.55 to give myself more time, but i think the GBU's need a minimum of 400GS, so done that (along with your tips) and went through first go TL/DR: Im an idiot, nvm -

Ok will give it a shot, perhaps as i was holding orbit, my turn in is too short -
With the mission Now or never, when given the order to take out snake my GBU's arent tracking, even though his vehicle is in a point track, with L Arm on, and holding gun trigger to lase (after release), but its not even getting within view of TGP. All 4 GBUs miss. Thing is, ive actually completed this mission on the simplified fueling version (this is the standard supercarrier version), and hit him everytime.

Just starting out in this campaign, but since latest update to openbeta ive noticed on startup none of the wingmen are on the apron, then once you tell Davy your ready and he gets clearance they all magically appear! .. Also i then take off, and immediately tell my Wing to go close formation and he does at first, to point of almost saddling, but then falls way back, even if i transit at 180-200 he still trails miles behind and takes whole trip to form up again, not game breaking but just thought id report it

Would definitely love a version with less hand holding, for example , i noticed in the mission after this (an some others) theyre using code words to carry out strikes, but then main character basically explains everything theyre about to do over the radio to his wingman (who was in the same briefing room i assume), completely destroying mission integrity, but also lets the player "cruise" a little more. Totally agree though, these missions are gold standard, really nicely balanced, and as a developer, theyre getting more varied as you go along !! I just wish there was more like this out there.. any plans for a F16 campaign? -

Just confirming with 6bar, 80nm and Hi setting i was able to spot him, must a been too low for a 4bar before -

worked all good for me, although i think by design your quite spread out, so anvils are slightly ahead on left, an tron will fly maybe a .5 mile to your right (if on cpl), an hammers do the same to the right of tron. Our plan seemed to deviate a little to the left of tron and hammers as you get up towards wp6, but still visual- 14 replies

everytime i do the feeling subdued mission, i sink the first sub, then matrix takes the second, i follow the heading of the migs (even into the range of the sams, 355 for memory) and i get nothing on rwr/ew, or with 4bar 80nm radar sweep, or even sa page with datalink on, sometimes if i head back west to wp2, i get a brief ping on ew of 2 29's but even on AB they vanish, and i get nothing on the scopes at any point (i suspect its the migs from the start of the mission). i obviously cant search in amongst the sams, an after hitting bingo searching around in circles, i rtb, an obv dont pass the mission.

along these lines, i actually thought up where Alaska (USA, obv) is only 100km from Russia, in the Bering sea, would make for the ultimate blue vs red, both with home soil adv !! -

Title says it all ! i fly to target with only the S2 and 2 moonshadow/tron hornets, when circling for push at wp1, i can see on datalink all other hornets are on the carrier still. Not sure if i keep dying cuz of this, or im just crap yet to make it out alive ?! edit: posted this earlier in the wrong section, so this is the repost into bugs section

Cant remember the name but in the night mission where theres a ship in the harbor on fire an your wing man investigates an u chase convoy, anyway, i ordered the tanker in f10 menu (this is actual refuelling version) then done my first case 3 app, an had bolter, so next time round right as i approached the deck (it may have been there longer, but, case 3, couldnt see til last second!) The tanker was floating in mid air right before touchdown, an caused me to hit deck an crash. Not sure if its even reproducable let alone fixable but thought id mention it.

I gotta agree with most here, with the wing man, once u contact tower make sure u kiss him off before the break an i think he loops around then lands, i guess so as not to pressure the player. I also found some of the commentary quite cringe at times, sounded like they were reading from script instead of how they would say it irl. But as always missions are fun an accessible, an its well worth the $10
