Ahh, yes, got it !! so i had already copied the livs into Savegames/DCS.openbera/Liveries/FA-18C/FA-18C_hornet/*all diff livs* But i just had to copy paste the "FA-18C_hornet" file, directly to Liveries (So Savegames/DCS.openbera/Liveries/FA-18C_hornet/*all diff livs*) Then within Liveries i had a "FA-18C" folder AND a "FA-18C_Hornet" folder. Cheers man, never would of got that otherwise !!
  2. Same here, after the turn to target, no more audio, Got a pretty low score too (60) so not sure if it scored my strike/tapes?!
  3. Couldnt recreate it in the test mission, i used HDG, then switched to CPL, still captured, so not sure. Still never seems to capture a wire though, i even got on the gas a bit before touchdown and still missed. heres trak anyways ACLS bug.trk

So i just flew a test mission from someone (from ACLS not accounting for burble i think) and i hand flew the whole approach (normally i use HDG mode for the approach to 1200ft, then i disable it before activating ACLS), and it captured G/S an tadpole etc, only prob was, dropped on the burble, missed the #1 wire and boltered. but the ACLS did capture, and i got CPL P/O (i think) on the hud. But the CPL HDG on the hud makes more sense now, although, i think deactivating hdg mode before turning on cpl should cancel CPL HDG, and it is not. Is anyone else using the autopilot to approach? i think it might be confusing the ACLS will try get a track of the fault now
  5. Exact same problem here, i get CPL HDG, doesnt capture glide slope, no tadpole, starts wobbling back n forth well above carrier. not just in multiplayer either (i mostly fly campaigns)
  6. Yeh, CAT2 seems to be the work around for now !

So i just finished the mission!! i decided to launch from CAT2 (had only tried 3&4), i also waited for him to hook up before launching, as soon as i got to 2500 i turned for WP1 (instead of 7miles, then arc), i also DIDNT enable SA page until i got to WP1 incase that was glitching him, but i thought it might work this time as i got 2 calls i hadnt previously heard (blade with "airbourne" & "switching" calls). So not sure what cat the other guys were launching from, but CAT 2 worked 4 me. Dunno why knight didnt ask for report etc that first time, but meh, was an excellent mission when played out as should! Cheers for the help @baltic_dragon, might still pay to check it though
  8. Just attempted again then, blade just hits the burners and pitches up following BRC (waited for him to taxi to cat before launching). the one time he did join, the trigger for the target didnt work (OP), so stuck on this mission ATM.
  9. i also had this, but also later on, i form on target nothing happens, and i get didnt intercept in time. i have a thread in the main section, where few people had same issue with this mission
  10. This is from the campaign guide. I couldnt AAR when i bought the original Raven one, but it actually taught me. Just make sure you get "cleared contact" and NOT "return contact" , and i found it easiest to activate the ATC (auto throttles) once matched with the tanker then u just have to fly formation (may take a few off/on's on the ATC to get same speed as tanker)

  12. Yeh done my head in too, Olive called 2 skunks out, so found the first with sea radar, then i just pulled the harbour co-ords from f10 map, set my own wp, and on freelance was scanning ships down parallel to the coast, eventually found the right ship
  13. my first attempt was the same, but 2nd time, i pulled onto the CAT an waited until he started and pulled behind me, then slowly arc'ed to the right (1st attempt was to the left ) and he caught up, both times had to make knight wait while he caught up though, even though i was lagging.

Just working through M05, and i found first private plane, then found the target, formed up behind him just below, and got no response from knight, no F10 option, was flying form for a while then got a mission failed "didnt intercept in time", but this is the plane from the kneeboard. i was monitoring guard, but noticed after a while following with nothing happening, that it had turned off, so turned it back on, but no calls. Also had a really weird thing in M04, where once i looked at a ship with my pod, then unbox tgt, instead of going to the WP, then where i was looking would become that WP? Done the mission twice got same thing. still finished it using F10 map, but was pretty confusing, may be a new F18 bug?
  15. Nvm, i didnt listen properly haha just finished then, and agreed, although i wouldnt call it "the deep end", more like being dropped in the middle of the ocean was epic though
  16. Yep, your right, i just finished then, he went sth and i was meant to go nth, all played out as it should, knew i was doing somethinng wrong haha... i gotta say, pretty insane first mission !! This gonna be epic !!
  17. So just playing through M01, and all started ok, after launch set radio 1 to 02 (strike) and radio 2 was on the default 01. So i flew to WP1 and anchored (cajun launched after me), checked in with strike (but no chatter from cajun), and slowly formed up on Cajun, we got about 20-30 miles in and he hit the burners an flew a big figure 8 in AB, then straightened up an took off supersonic (i was at M1.1 trying to keep up), but there was no instructions to anchor etc, he just booked it, i ended up quitting as fuel was already down to 7000. Apart from initial check in he didnt say anything, any idea? was i meant to change comm 2?
  18. Did you have cajun do a figure 8 in After burner then take off supersonic from you? is that normal or bug?
  19. I doesnt matter which way Virpil tells them to go, clicking invert in game should do the opposite, which wasnt happening in my case (with the f14 anyways), fortunately the VPC software was able to switch them

So i found a workaround, the new profile didnt work, but i was able to un-invert the pedals in the VPC software, then just uninverted all the other planes to match.. so she now works.. i am curious though, when you tested it, did you test it in the menus only? just cuz, mine was switching in the menu ok, but when i taxied in game it would always go the same way?
  21. cant remove the software entirely, but i think i did set up an axis curve on the pedals to make them softer in middle, will give it a shot bone stock in a few hours, not with PC atm. Still not sure why its only the Tomcat though, i dont even have additional liverys installed as far as mods go. Doing the rest of my 3rd party planes then too, cuz ive only tried ED planes (besides yours). will report back..
  22. Thanks for the idea, but i just logged in then, and wiped the catagory entirely, in both axis and non axis, for both pilot and rio, rebound the rudder, but it still doesnt invert unfortunately

I already have warbird base and when i was trying to add the pedals (virpil interceptors) they wouldnt show up in the software, so i tried updating the software, then updated the firmware on both the stick and rudders, which i think may have renamed them or something, as i didnt lose my keyboard bindings, just the stick bindings in DCS, anyways.. just tried the 14A (tried 14B first) then, same thing. i tried making a track below using only left leg forward, but it didnt seem to record me opening the menu halfway through and inverting the controls, but you can see both times it veers to the right. Not sure what would be set wrong in VPC as all the other planes ive done (A10C/C-II, F16, F18) have all reversed on invert. Maybe a future patch will correct it i guess F14 bug.trk
  24. Just got my new pedals and annoyingly Virpils software wiped all my bindings on all planes, but with the Tomcat when i invert the Rudder Axis Binding, nothing changes. At the moment, they work like bicycle handle bars (left leg forward will turn right), but i want them like irl (Left leg forward turns left) but besides inverting the axis not sure how else to change them?? possibly bug, as its only the tomcat
