@BIGNEWY Thank you for the update on the "lightweight" plane. I might consider it when more information is available. In the newsletter, there is information we would love to hear but don't. What is the latest development on the F-4 phantom? Many virtual pilots are really, really, really eager to buy it. Periodic updates show that ED and the third party software developer are mindful of their customers' expectations. At times, the lack of regular updates on the F-4 seems to convey that ED or the software developer are not giving timely updates. Giving updates should be an ongoing process. Mike Force Team

Maybe The F-4 might be announced on Memorial Day weekend. This is my speculation.

@frodrigues2016Comments coming to mind are "Wuhhhh????" and "I am confused." A fictitious Mig-31 jet is not the same as a Eurofighter. @frodrigues2016 DCS focuses on the real-world, actual planes that currently exist or were retired from active service. This is a confusing post. Mike Force Team

Since there is the publicly available information on the Mig-29, the Russian jet might be based on the German version. I agree with one post that suggested the German variant. When East Germany merged with West Germany when the Cold War ended, the German Luftwaffe inherited the cold war relic jets. Seems like a logical solution, along with the short Tik Tok video we saw posted recently, suggesting this jet might be available at some time in the future. Mike Force Team

@BIGNEWY I am interested in purchasing the Mig-29 as a full-fidelity jet. Investing time, effort, and resources are very likely to result in virtual pilots buying it. When I read the comment that ED wants to do it, I am left with questions. I do not understand why we see the Mig-29 video on Tik Tok along with ED's website. I do understand why ED shows a video clip of the Mig-29 but confused as to why ED does not move forward with the decision to make it. Mike Force Team
