    Recently, the strike eagle was finally released. As we look at the airframes in DCS's pipeline of development, we have the f-4 phantom, Eurofighter, c-130, and a few choppers. We know that the F-16 and the F/A-18 were used in different modules/roles when the Kola map is finally released. The strike eagle teams would feel quite happy flying in the assorted landscapes doing missions and campaigns along with the hornets and the vipers. Can a special campaign be made specifically for the strike eagle and the phantom? Here are a few more questions and suggestions. Can we add the red force airframes? The migs and the Russian choppers would also be fair game in the Kola map. In the map's editing, can the programs add the option for real-world weather feeds to be used and enabled on the map? MSFS has settings that permit virtual pilots to fly planes using live, real-world weather feeds; the content developers should consider this suggestion. Additionally, can ice and snow be implemented so that they have realistic effects on the various air frames? How about adding the option to create realistic earthquakes? The Kola peninsula does experience actual earthquakes. Once the Kola map is available, any plans to expand it? Mike Force Team

    I read your information. It sounds like you are attempting to create an all-inclusive platform that includes various military branches. You list "king of the hill" as one kind of simulation. Do you plan on adding fixed and rotary or just stay strictly with soldiers and tanks? Mike Force Team

    For the Sinai map, can this be added? I am asking if a 24/7 real-world weather feed be created and used for this map. Having actual weather when we fly missions or conduct campaigns on this map would be nice. The weather feature would be ongoing and not require virtual pilots to have to do anything to the settings.     @Silver_Dragon We know the DCS is usually mum on certain projects in development. At the same time, there is some confusion when ED does not reveal information about specific maps. For example, we don't have any definite and clear information on a viet Nam map. The Viet Nam map would be an ideal match for the Mig-21 and the f-4. Yes, myself and others have posted suggestions in the appropriate ED forum for a wish map. While we know ED reads the forum comments, we usually don't know what is done with the information. For example, a cuban missile crisis campaign map would be another perfect match. When ED says they are developing some requested maps like the ones I discussed above, then the community is more likely to feel engaged because ED is responding to the customers' requests.     @BalticDude ED is working on a global map. While ED has not revealed much on the progress, it would likely include Korea, China, and other parts of the world. I agree that a Viet Nam map would be a great map to have. In the meantime, we wait. Mike Force Team

    @Walshtimothy I agree with you that these need updating. In the past, i commented that updating the asset packs shows consistency and brings enjoyment to virtual pilots. Yet, ED is more focused on the full-fidelty modules and paid maps because they make money from them. I know ED is working on a dynamic campaign, but not clear if this addresses asset packs.     What is the status of the Viet Nam map? At the beginning of 2023, there was information saying that a development team was going to create the Viet Nam map. While we have information about the Kola and Australia maps, we have not heard anything lately about Viet Nam. The upcoming Mig-17 and F-4 would be right at home in the skies of Viet Nam.
