One feature not currently modeled in DCS is wildlife management on airfields. Some common instances might be crocodiles on airfields in Florida, bird strikes at JFK in New York City, or polar bears on airfields in Alaska. I found an article created by the FAA, which is dated 2005. While the publication is old, it still contains relevant information to controlling wildlife in or near airfields. We have the mig-21s. Soon, we will have the f-4s and b-52s. The CA can show US soldiers en mass in southern Florida. This would likely be a popular map that will sell. Mike Force Team

@_BringTheReign_ You make a valid point of the "few weeks/months." Another possible release date for the phantom might be around November 25, 2022, which is when Black Friday takes place. Many businesses offer discounted prices to entice people to buy things. As for ED, this is likely when they will publicize new aircraft, maps, and other things. During the traditional Christmas shopping season, people are more likely to spend money to buy things they want. Mike Force Team

@Phantom88It would be great if phantom revealed on Halloween; yet, I doubt it. Using history as my guide, ED starts dropping hints about pending releases. ED or the develop has been silent on the f-4 for months. The lack of publicity seems to suggest the phantom is not yet ready for EA release. @Manhorne This time around, there is a very high likelihood the F-4 will come to fruition. The developer has a reputation for quality; as a result, they want to produce and market a quality finished product. Since the F-4 is likely to be popular, DCS might hold off until Christmas time. On other hand, it could be offered sooner. My opinion, of course. Mike Force Team
