  1. Will DCS provide us with an actual, real-world, authentic response that tells us the actual, genuine status of the dispute? We would like for the dispute to be resolved so we can get our updates again.
  2. @BIGNEWY Welcome back from your vacation. Mike Force Team
  3. Confusing YouTube video. The video tells me nothing new. @NineLine I agree. The video seems pointless.
  4. When a resolution is reached, be it resolved or two parties not working together, ED is very likely to tell us.
  5. I hope the dispute ends soon.
  6. Discord link is invalid. Mike Force Team
  7. The discord link is invalid. We cannot access the discord. Mike Force Team
  8. Discord link is invalid or expired. Mike Force Team
  9. For the super carrier and associated surface warships, can ED add flares and chaff? I know that CIWS is used on some ships to shoot down hostile threads but they do not use chaff or flares to spoof ASW missiles. Mike Force Team
  10. @Sly870and @SOLIDKREATE There is one thing I have learned from DCS and that is patience. I, too, want the instant gratification. In the meantime, all we can do is wait while flying other air frames in the interim. Mike Force Team
  11. @Beirutand @C3PO I forsee the dispute between ED and RZ won't be resolved soon. Maybe August of next year? Mike Force Team
  12. I hope ED is telling HB and IFE they need the F-16A. Mike Force Team
  13. It is unlikely that ED will do updates on the NTTR map. Mike Force Team
  14. Does ED have any new development information for either a Vietnam Map or the global map? Mike Force Team
  15. Our female pilot needs a co-pilot. Nobody likes being alone.
  16. The female pilot looks grumpy. She is not happy.
  17. The discord link in the most recent post is invalid. It is expired. Mike Force Team
  18. We have to blame global warming in the virtual world. Mike Force Team
  19. It sounds like @BIGNEWY is also tired of the dispute dragging on. Sounds like he wants the dispute resolved. Managing the ongoing discussion is time consuming because they must answer the same questions on a recurring basis. In the meantime, @BIGNEWY is limited what can be publicly disclosed. Once the dispute is resolved, i hope ED and RZ can hold a public meeting to answer our questions about what happened. Mike Force Team
  20. @BIGNEWY and @NineLine I read the newsletter discussing the latest DCS updates' tech issues. Kudos to the internal testing team members who discovered the technical issues before the release to the public. It is encouraging that ED's management listens to their beta testers and pauses while things are fixed. The delay is unwanted but is the better choice when many showstopper events occur. If the latest update had been released to the public with faulty programs, ED's forums would be in meltdown mode due to many posting their technical issues. Mike Force Team
  21. @Christopher Staples I experience the same error message. When I used the DCS repair tool, it did not resolve the issue. I still got the same error message. Other fixed and rotary modules work properly. Mike Force Team
  22. Do you have any plans to add the Chinook or kiowa? Mike Force Team
  23. @BIGNEWYDo we need to do a gofundme campaign to help pay Razbam so we can get support again? Mike Force Team
  24. As Mike Force Team read the posts and responses, I saw an opportunity in academia. Using a real-world situation, we can see how unresolved disputes over money affect end-users, the software developer (RZ), and ED. Using forum posts to show what led up to the dispute, how RZ and ED managed the situation during the dispute, and how customers responded to posts, we can see what does or does not happen. While waiting for dispute resolution, some frustrated customers requested refunds on the F-15 while others took a wait-and-see approach. RZ, one of the most popular developers, remained silent. Theories and comments abounded in the forum posts, but RZ's silence left many with the sour taste of disappointment. ED and RZ are highly likely to post new official comments for us to read when this dispute is over. In the meantime, we experience delayed gratification.
  25. Part of managing customer expectations is providing regular updates. The lack of "official" updates from either ED or Razbam is frustrating. We enjoy Razbam's products but will miss their jets should they be removed from ED's website. The goal should be mutual resolution and a way to move forward together so everyone can enjoy their jets.
