  1. The relationship between ED and RZ has been strained for over a year. RZ says they have not been paid while ED has said little officially. RZ withdraws their modules to symbolize their serious about getting paid. ED seems content let the dispute languish. The next logical step in the disagreement is the likely cessation of business.
  2. DCS would be better off buying RZ modules outright. I agree. RZ could then take the profits and use for content creation for other companies. I agree.
  3. Permanently ending a business relationship is the best outcome for both companies. ED removes RZ modules and likely refunds to give credits for future purchases. RZ removes their products and does not have to worry anymore about not being paid. Problems solved.
  4. Nick Grey should take responsibility by making an official response. The buck stops with him.
  5. Ignoring, whitewashing, and disregarding a persistent problem is a poor way to manage customer expectations. ED is not managing expectations in a way they end-users expect. When persistently neglected over time, this can cause trust issues in our community.
  6. Since RZ withdrew their modules, RZ does not have to worry about providing a free mirage 2000 upgrade provided the dispute between ED and RZ would be resolved.
  7. Maybe we need to create a GoFundMe to help pay down what is owed to Razbam.
  8. @NineLine Thank you for your response. We, meaning the ED community, are concerned that we could lose our RZ modules we paid for and enjoy flying. Yes, I have read ED's responses in this forum. At the same time, I also read RZ comments in discord. Due to prolonged stalemate, RZ has not updated their modules because they claim they are not being paid. Other ED vendors provide timely updates for their products in a timely manner. I find unusual, even strange, that ED and RZ have not taken this dispute to court. I know DCS needs to make a profit to pay its employees and business expenses. Does ED have any plans to actually resolve? The dispute is like an open wound: it festers over time because it is not treated properly. For ED: why not buy out RZ's coding and programming outright? ED can purchase the full-fidelty modules outright and maintain them. RZ gets paid and likely to cease business with ED. Problem solved Mike Force Team
  9. If RZ and DCS end their working relationships, RZ will get the raw deal. Their customized modules for ED would likely require significant rework to work on a different platform. DCS customers lose access to their favorite RZ planes and map. It seems ED is not worried about resolving the dispute, especially due to no noteworthy updates. Ignoring a problem just by managing it for over a year is poor management practice. Mike Force Team
  10. When I tired the discord link, it said the link is invalid or expired.
  11. The invite link is invalid. It needs to be updated. Mike Force Team
  12. Can we have a map for the Red Sea and Yemen? We can create many missions for this sandbox. Mike Force Team
  13. Can we have the B-58 Hustler as s full-fidelty module? I find plenty of declassified informant available on the bomber online. While it never fire a shot in anger during its career life from 1960 to 1970, it would be a great plane because it was really, really fast for its time. Mike Force Team
  14. @BIGNEWY Is NG trying to resolve the dispute with RZ? After approximately one year, I am not seeing any hints of a resolution. The lack of an effective resolution prevents us from receiving timely updates on RZ modules. If there is no possibility of resolution, then ED should end the relationship with RZ. In turn, ED can allow another developer to create new fixed and rotary. I read the "it's complicated" comments. Uncomplicate things by either reaching a resolution or terminate the business relationship. I read the forum posts on this topic daily. Mike Force Team
  15. I apologize for the previous response. I gave you information for the AIM-7 sparrow. Sorry about that. I will look tomorrow and get you an answer. When you are firing the sidewinder, how far away is your target? I am asking if you know how many miles it is to the target. If the distance is greater than five miles, the sidewinder runs out of fuel. When the target is 3 miles or less, you have a better change of hitting your target. Mike Force Team
  16. When you are selecting a target, you need to tell the missle if the target is small, medium, or large. Because the sidewinder does not know the size of the target, it tends to fly off into the wild blue yonder hitting nothing. When I select the target size, I select small. When you input the target size, hopefully the sidewinder will track to its target provided it is in range. Mike Force Team

  18. Go to anti-virus settings to the exception tab. Select DCS and add as exception. Mike Force Team
  19. When can we do pre-order for the Germany map? Mike Force Team
  20. Once RZ receives their development license, things will change. Perhaps the changes will happen soon. As a result, we will or would see needed updates appear. The restoration of business between RZ and ED would be a major celebration. RZ says they would provide a free update to the Mirage 2000. Hopefully, ED and RZ would take steps to improve customer relationships. Time heals wounds. At the same time, it takes both companies to make it work. After a stalemate that had lasted approximately one year, we should keep telling, reminding, and writing to ED and RZ to solve their problems. Mike Force Team
  21. I am happy we are enjoying circular discussions that lead to no resolution one year after RZ complained about non-payment. We can celebrate the standoff with cold brewskies.
  22. @DF110071 Be patient. We look forward to the mig-29 release. Only ED knows when it is ready for release. I, too, am eager to get the MIG. Mike Force Team
  23. ED, Why did the developer stop selling? We are confused. Mike Force Team
  24. @draconus I was hoping for the prop plane trainer they were working on to be completed and made available to us. Unfortunately, the developers called it quits. Perhaps they did not have the motivation to make it happen or people quit the team. Working on the coding, troubleshooting, and more consumes considerable time. It is not clear if ED was in a support role, though. Will Check Six Simulation make their coding, prototyping, and other information available to other software developers? For the right price, I am certain HB or another developer can pick up where Check Six stopped. Mike Force Team
  25. When I read the plans for the Top of Australia map, I was confused. I didn't understand how this map would be used since it was not close to any major countries. It looked like another sand map, which DCS already has several of. I looked forward to the plane but not sure if it would be popular.
