  2. Airfield Alt? Fuel load? OAT? Apples to apples?
  3. Curious why you say this? I can fly inverted for the limit of 2 minutes with no problems.

    No mag check?

You want to see a drop in RPM, but not an excessive drop. RPM drop when running on one magneto must not exceed 3%.
  5. How did you get it working with the Yak?
  6. Where do we find the beta 1.3.0.1? Thanks!

    Attitude Check

    Interesting read here: https://www.thisdayinaviation.com/tag/sperry-f3-attitude-indicator/
  9. I've got a mission with -12c and it starts fine. Are you doing primer knob right, (cylinder prime) and primer knob left (pipeline fill). I'm giving it about 5 pumps in each position. Then once it is cranking over the mags go on as per the manual.
  10. Honeymoons over! Back to the Yak! ;) Congrats.
  11. Adjust the in game IPD.
  12. It was worth every penny imo. Beautiful aerobatics aircraft even in the EA stage. A pleasure to fly.
  13. Yo-Yo, with a 120kg pax in the rear seat you get near neutral stability. Without the 120kg passenger in the rear seat how much stick movement would be required to perform the same loop? More/less or the same stick movement? bbrz, I find it highly unlikely in an aircraft of this size with tandem seating, there is no noticeable difference in handling and/or pitch stability with the extra weight of a pax in the back seat.
  14. Look at this Yak-52 W&B diagram and the CofG position. I don't see how the weight of a guy in back is not going to affect the handling/feel of the aircraft.

    Flight Manual

If you are at 220 don't put the flaps down, if you are at 250 don't put them down, as in RL you slow it up (170) and the resulting pitch movement is very manageable.

    Flight Manual

    1) Yes. English manual included. 2) Slow down before deploying flaps. Does not detract.
  17. The Yak loves to be thrown around the sky.
  18. The Yak is awesome! Had a blast yesterday flying around with several other Yak pilots and a lone Hornet on a multiplayer acro server. The field was covered in airshow smoke. It was bloody brilliant! I absolutely love the feel of this plane. Two thumbs up ED!
  19. Patiently waiting for the Yak support here also. It's going to be great I am sure! That big old throaty radial should really shake your seat!! Cheers,
  20. Standing by. It shake nice with that throaty radial engine!

    Smoke System?

Thank you. That did it. I needed to make a new Stores/Weapon Profile and save it. Smoking nice now! Beautiful airshow smoke.
  23. Yup lov'in it. A real beauty in VR.

    Smoke System?

Interesting. It is not giving me the option of loading a smoke pod in the weapons tab... nor can I change the paint scheme. I did however figure out how to equip the Yak with a 3 bladed prop. What task are you setting for the aircraft in order to get the smoke pod option?
