  1. Having the same issue with the A2G radar and CTD: trying to take a HRM map (forget scale) of Kutaisi airfield. i think a2g radar was at like 20 or 40 miles scale. i was within ~20 miles of the airfield, so must have been taking an image like 1-2 mile scale or something. Here's a screengrab from my error log.
  2. I have the same issue. I've noticed that when I pickle the bomb(s), the CDIP reticle moves to the correct location, while the pickle button is pressed. It does not do this consistently, and I've noticed it both with default loadouts (for example, the cold and dark nevada default mission), and when selecting my own loadouts.
  3. I'm also having issues here. I've tried the JSOWs in PP or TOO mode (with waypoints), and both 1200 and 1500' dispersion heights. No matter how I do it, I wind up getting a random number of kills, but still have the issue where I'm asked to re-attack, and, similar to others I get SAM'd to death. I think what's happening here is that the JSOW A's submunitions are not wind corrected munitions, so while the JSOWs hit the target at the right spot, the higher your burst altitude, the more likely all the submunitions might float away with the wind. So, you may find setting a much lower burst height will help with hitting the target, but you'll get less dispersion, and maybe not kill them all. If you set the burst height higher, you'll have better coverage, but it may be coverage of the wrong area if there are strong winds pushing the submunitions away from the targets. I agree, that if we use JSOW-Cs (and maybe 4 of them) you could probably have much better luck. The rockeyes for now are useless since getting that close seems to mean a quick death to the SAMs.
  4. Hi everyone, late to the party here, but is it possible to play this campaign with the A10Cii? Has it been updated for the ii?
  5. BD, just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic campaign! I hope you'll do some more soon, in the A10 or the F18 - which are the two airframes I fly right now :). I had a blast on this campaign, and I was sad to see mission 21 come to an end. Great work!
  6. Yep, you can, and you can also skip the AAR after you're up there, in case you can't figure it out. This was my first time doing AAR in the hog, and i was up there like an hour and took like 1000lbs of fuel! great fun though!
  7. on the topic of this mission... after the AAR exercise, I recieve the transfer complete disconnect signal from the KC135, and after disconnect, I don't seem to be getting any further instruction. Is there something else I should do? Actually, nevermind, I missed a spacebar before i started refueling. Not sure how I missed that.
  8. I am having this same problem, so am curious if there is something wrong. Maybe it's the radio frequencies or something?
  9. Actually, I just figured it out. I was taking off from the runway not at the end of 07, but one taxiway short. i guess it wasn't hitting a trigger. seems to be working now
  10. I'm also having this issue with Dodge 02 not rejoining, and just orbiting forever at WP1. Is there a way to fix it?
  11. SPOILERS: I stumbled across the VHF FM signal later in the mission, and was encouraged to try to use ADF to locate the source and make contact. I was ultimately able to do this, but it took about 30 minutes of random flying. I turned the radio to DF mode, turned off TAC and ILS, unstowed the needles, and confirmed I was homing on the signal. However, the ADI never actually seemed to point the little bug in the right direction. Is this me doing something wrong, or a mission issue? Great campaign so far by the way, fantastic work! E: sorry, mission 11
  12. Actually, when I look at Blade's aircraft when starting up, prior to radio check, it already has damage (before he's even moved). For me, more often than not, he just sits on the cat, no matter when I start up, or when I salute, but once, when I let him go first, he just blew up on the end of the carrier as others have stated. Also noticed the bug with the comms check, where you can't hear Flip check on pri (maybe on the wrong freq or something?).
  13. An update in case it helps anyone. After much poking around, I discovered that my RAM was running at 2166MHz, rather than the XMP profile of 3600MHz... I had forgotten when I built this machine that I was having trouble getting my CPU overclock and RAM to together run with the RAM at 3600MHz. I had a pretty mild CPU overclock, but I turned that back down to the base speed, and set the RAM to the XMP profile, and it allow it to run at 3600. It seems this has actually netted me another ~10-15fps or so. Which is I suppose about as good as I can get. I seem to get around 30 fps on the ground in a full GAW server, and depending what's happening in SP, somewhere in the 40-80 range. I can live with that (most gfx on high, except MSAA, which is at 2X).
  14. Yeah, I've heard tacview is a huge resource hog. I don't use it but many people report disabling it helps. Yep, all of that is set to max performance. This is a great point - you're right, when I look at per-core usage, I do have one core fully utilized almost continuously. Thanks for pointing that out. Thanks friend. I tried that version, and a couple others. Now back to 472.12 (latest version, I think). Doesn't seem to make a difference one way or the other.
  15. Thanks SCPanda. Mind if I ask what GPU driver version you're on? Your system seems to run much better than mine for some reason. I think the main difference is that my preload radius is maxed out, but I didn't figure that would matter much, as I supposed it'd be loaded into RAM and wouldn't be a problem. Could you also share what RAM you have and the timings (or model number if you have it would be awesome).
  16. specs: RTX 3080, i79800, 64GB RAM, 3440*1440 resolution. After some testing, i've found that in both SP and MP, my GPU load hovers around 40-60%. in SP, frame rates seem what i'd call 'playable' around 45-85 fps. In MP (mostly I play in GAW), i get around 15-20 fps on the ground, and 30-40 in the air. The CPU seems to hover around 30% max. i've gone through the NV control panel and changed things that people recommend to 'performance' or 'application-controlled' where possible. Please see the game settings and NV Control panel settings below. am i asking for too much here? or am i missing something? would love to hear what others experiences with GPU drivers and GPU usage on the 3080. thanks everyone.
