Great mission, I was on high alert flying way out to sea, twice. Unfortunately, my homing equipment was damaged on the way to pick up you know who, navigating there was a challenge and fun.

I've tried this 5 times now, the UH-1 starts out slightly overweight at 9500, the cargo is 3,000 so that makes my UH-1 extremely overweight and can't even lift the cargo off the ground? What am I doing wrong? you don't burn very much fuel from starting point to the cargo area.

I would gladly pay going price for an updated UH-1, no need for a discount. It is my go-to aircraft in DCS.

I did not adjust that because I thought that also had an effect on the in sim music when a radio station is tuned in? I'll give it a try because my logic is most likely flawed.

Possible to turn down or disable all together?

I accidentally closed all the circles how do I get them back?

I’ve tried maybe 6 times now and finally landed at the forward base offloaded and headed home but got another call. he said he marked it on the map, there’s multiple circles on the map so I clicked on each and none said anything about the people at 52xx something. So I closed all the circles How do I get them back? how do I contact the people, I have fm set to 42.6 but pressing \ no longer opens up the radio menu, also when I try to call them on that frequency nothing happens. I’ve flown around and around. How do I find them? also can’t find my current position on the f10 map. how do I know what direction to fly even if they answered?

ok, I have tried 10 times now, no matter how soft I set down or from what direction, Something goes flying from the UH-1 and it slides off the back or sometimes the sides or sometimes it just explodes. What the heck is going on here? I can land on containers all day so something is amiss. I have watched multiple tracks and I do indeed set down very gently and the huey just starts sliding off!

I have spent maybe 80% of my time with the UH-1 and maybe 20% trying to land the F-18 on the carrier all in VR. On a whim with the last sale, I bought several warbirds and some campaigns. Yesterday I played mission 2 of a BF109 campaign. Stunning, absolutely beautiful. My guess was 30 or more B-17's, at least that many P-51s and then our two wings of BF-109's. The high altitude vapor trails and all the twisting/turning from the dog fighting was just spectacular. DCS was absolutely eye candy. Congrats on your achievement ED. I found that DCS crashes when using the AV1 codec for quet 3 so I use HVEC 10 bit, I also found that sticking my headset as the only device on the 5ghz network and using a cable to router from the host PC greatly improved FPS (almost doubled) I can now use the AH64 and the new CH47 where before they was to choppy and unplayable. I have almost all settings turned all the way up except ground shadows are medium and the terrain distance slider is 50-60% with CS pixel density of 103% In virtual desktop I have it set on "god like" I am using a lowly two fan rtx 4070ti and no longer use open xr or the toolkit, strictly VDS Hope any of this helps.

I currently have a dell 8940 with i7-10700 64gbs ram, my pc has just been randomly shutting off. only way to bring it back is to unplug power cable and plug it back end, then it will start as normal so I assume the PS is dieing. Being its a propritery motherboard and PS I m forced to either replace the proprietary PS with another for $100 or maybe its time to upgrade. I was thinkg of going to the latest i9-14900 or i7-14700 Has anyone been down this road and done research? What made you decide to go 1 way or the other? I have a 4070ti so I assume I will be upgrading that next year for the 5 series so both cpu's should be in-line with the new GPU.

In the UH1 campaign, we are instructed to tune to 122.50 to listen to local radio station while we are in flight, no matter what slider I adjust in the audio menu I can just barely hear the station. Is there an audio control in the UH-1 sim that I need to turn up?

Switching to virtual desktop cleared things up for me by atleast a factor of 2 but I only do VR.

I know you can bind multiple controls to the same thing (multiple things on say x or y axis) Is it possible to bind multipls DCS controls to one physical control? Example: I have x-56 and it has 2 rotary dials, the huey has 6 rotory dials for instrument lights, panel lights, overhead lights for both pilot and copilot. Is it possible to bind multipls light dials to one or more physical dials on the x-56? I have had no luck thus far.

I agree. I just recently started using virtual desktop instead of the cable. The images are way better and I doubled my FPS, makes no sense to me that wireless would be so much better. my sessions are normally 2 hours per campaign mission . At first mine was doing what yours is. I changed codec and the problem went away. funny thing is I changed back to AV1 codec and the problem I was having went away there as well. So who knows
