  1. My first thoughts. I agree that the map is too bright, cockpits are all washed out. Plenty of flickering shadows and trees to be worked on. Way too much muzzle flash in the Dora, impossible to track a shot in currently because the flash blinds the shooter's sight. My FPS is between 20-40 usually which is about the same for 1.5 for me actually. Certainly still an Alpha but overall it looks awesome!
  2. The muzzle flare in 2.1 is making taking an accurate shot very hard. The entire sight gets filled with the flash currently.
  3. This fixed it for me, ED should probably make it a sticky or something = less digging required for others. There, hold Left Shift and right click and click "Open Command window here." 4. I just use the zoom in/out slow (numpad "*" and "/") to overcome this. Its mapped on my hotas. This also helps replicates having a set of binoculars on hand in the cockpit. I have both mapped to my hotas, for years now, and I find I never fly without using it.
  5. Not sure what you mean here?
  6. I've been working on a mid 80s mission and I've just been using Google/WIKI to ask what time period certain weapons came out / went into service.
  7. Nice work, add weapons too please. Thanks!

Quick question. Is it possible to make a Ground Control Intercept (AI or Client controlled) unit currently in DCS via the mission editor? If so how? I've seen this spot in the Blue Flag server but I cannot currently seem to figure out how to add this feature in the mission editor to any of my missions.

  20. Thx, I'm relying heavily on the "if you build it... they will come" strategy and word of mouth. We get 6-8 people in on this and it'll be the most fun any of us have had with our clothes on.
  21. Mild changes made to the brief today. Mission will run for three hours then reset if there is a winner or if time expires. Integrity check will be on so turn your mods off. I haven't decided to keep imposters on small or off yet: currently testing.
  22. Looks good and I am in the market for a dedicated DCS squadron. Less than 24 hours out now, spread the word. The more the better!!!
  23. Yeah, this screen shot was a one off. I have only encountered the issue once or twice so far. It is generally not an issue, but when I caught it the second time I felt compelled to share it.
  24. Interestingly enough, the odd behavior may only happen when the AIM-9P is launched from too close a distance. Still buggy looking but maybe intended?
  25. Anyone confirm if the AIM-9Ps are bugged. Not the AIM-9P5s btw just the Ps. I've had a few leave the rail now in a shuddering like manner and they miss (seem to circle around targets) often.
