  2. I have no idea what I'm looking at really when I open these crash folders/files. Can someone who does tell me if there is a straight forward fix to my crashes or just explain to me what is causing them?
  3. I cannot, thus far, get the Beta to run for more than 20 minutes of flight without a crash. Currently, the alpha was more stable for me. I can't seem to identify what is causing the sim to crash. Also, the sim CTDs when I connect to multiplayer and does not record a crash log. The logs attached were flown with the F-5E and AV-8B. I also get a low memory warning when trying to connect to multiplayer sometimes (I have 24 GB of RAM). Almost all of the logs attached were missions that consisted of free flights: nothing dramatic going on. My specs are in the sig.   4. While using the NAV FLIR on the HUD in 2.2 I wanted to report some of the limitations I've found. With Nevada, the ground is indistinguishable from the sky in black or white hot. Objects are clearly identifiable though. In Normandy the ground sky issue is not a problem but I noticed that using NAV FLIR over trees and buildings seriously degrades my systems overall FPS (down to 18 FPS) and the entire sim starts to stutter quite a bit. Both test were done at night and with most settings set to high. Loving the Harrier otherwise, my first uses of NAV FLIR were today and I look forward to trying it out again in 2.5.
  5. I am extremely impressed with it so far. My greedy side really wants the B Plus but for now N/A has been amazing. Great job Razbam!

  7. As a member of this community for many years, who has bought almost everything the sim has produced, I must say... I have zero interest in this module. Regardless, good luck M3. Its not for me, but maybe others will like it.
  8. I'm still seeing a drop in about 20 FPS once the Mavericks MFD feed goes up. I have the latest hotfix.

  10. I'm having a little trouble understanding if my INS is aligned and working properly. Any one got a tutorial on this? I've got the quick start manual but its a little light in this regard. Thanks.
  11. Does anyone know if the Hornet will be able to have a slick configuration (no pylons)? And if so will the flight model account/reflect the same?
  12. Great looking mod. I am a big fan of producers always providing an option to have a "factory finish" cockpit. Some of us mission designers like to create period correct missions that don't require that "well lived in" look. More work for them, but much appreciated by myself and other users.
  13. Okay, tried both again. Looks like Preset in the Mirage are broke but manual VHF is working for the AWACS and FACs. EWR however is busted for both the Mirage and F-15C as far as I can tell.
  14. I was using Preset (251 UHF AM) for the AWACS and 131 VHF AM for the EWR. Does it need to be on manual setting (VHF only)?
  15. I'm not sure if this has been reported but in 2.1.1 update #2 I have no comms with friendly AWACS or EWR systems. I tested this using properly set freqs with no call backs from either. I tested the same mission but in an F-15C and got call backs so it seems to be a Mirage 2000C issue. Thx.
  16. Just got done testing this in 2.1.1 update #2 and I had four good hits with the Humvee (Tow) set as my JTAC. Sorry to hear its not working in 1.5, with any luck we'll all be merging sometime soon.

  18. So there has been nothing official from ED on if all three versions of DCS will narrow down to just one yet?
  19. Currently I just have the Alpha version of DCS installed and I would like to keep things to one version after my reformatting of my rig last week. My question is if all versions of DCS will go to 2.5 and stay there or will I always have the Alpha? My apologies if I'm asking a question that has been covered.
  20. Not exactly a pressing issue I'm sure for ED right now but in DCS 2.1.1.8244 I noticed the Flak 30 (single 20mm cannon) has no sound when firing or otherwise. Everything else about it seems to be working fine: various views, firing, and target acquisition etc. All other German flak cannons have sound though.
  21. The Bf-109s front windscreen and sight tint are too much after today's update. I can hardly make out targets against the ground currently. Screen shot of my sight is below. I can adjust the sim's gamma and make it more usable but then everything else becomes washed out. Thanks.
  22. Same here, with enough clouds objects don't shimmer as bad. I would say its related to the new lighting system but I get shimmering trees, grass, and buildings with deferred shading off or on.
  23. I assumed you meant turning the deferred shading off and back on. Gave it a shot but I still have tree and object shimmering. Also, I have the latest drivers from Nvidia.
  24. Tree Shimmer Here Too I can also confirm strong tree shimmering on my end. I also have a GTX 970. I tried turning off HDR but it didn't make a difference. I get pretty decent performance otherwise currently (35-60 fps). Attached are my settings in game and Nvidia.
  25. Great Performance Now! Thx for this post Wags! Turning those off in the sim's settings and running the MFAA and AA from the Nvidia Control panel fixed all my issues with performance. My rig is pretty long in the tooth (processor and Mobo are about 7 years old) but I get great performance now, better than I did in 1.5. I have most of the settings turned all the way up (see attached). I still have to hit right alt + enter to keep from getting micro stutters but otherwise I'm in the 60 fps range now and its very smooth. Normandy looks great!
