There's always something amiss with DCS. Be it stutter, login problems, artifacts, flickering graphics, missing bomb precicion etc.. or crazy bad load/startup times. This one error is one of the worst and I don't even consider starting DCS based on an impulse, for example to learn air to air in my newly purchased F-15. Because it takes forever to start. I've been near ditching the entire concept due to time wasted many times already. But I have put to much "terms and conditions of EULA" money in it. Plus hardware. I've been told to "please be patient" to many times. So I have to appeal to ED; Please be vigilant, and try to consider customers point of view, and fix or give info. I have no clue; will this take weeks, months, or, as in some occations, years? Are you even on it? "Reported" This is the most frustrating concept I've ever encountered, although it is my favourite one too. My time off from work is precious. I want to dedicate some of it to DCS, according to what I paid for. I bought a dedicated PC for this concept only, with the spec to handle it. But atm: No joy. In all fairness: Theres been weeks on end where I've enjoyed the work you put in to such measure, I've actually exclaimed sounds of joy. My girl say she heard me sing.

Some updates, like the Lima's, are so significant that they make s me want to re visit old missions, and giving a new value in several ways. It suits me fine that these are coming one at the time. When the FCR is ready, I get more to be "thrilled" about, and the AH-64 will be more favouriteable. (Yes I'm making up words here..) But the long loading times we have atm does nothing but bad things for me, and I'd like to see a fix for that, even a standalone fix.. Please.

How do you "activate auto hover"?

It is just so weird how I can hover, but George just fall out of the sky like a stone. I recover, regain hover, leave it to George, and woosh. Down he goes.

Mission editor There is no way I can turn like that with right rudder pedal input.

I just reduced fuel from 100% to 50%, and there was no difference. My thrustmaster pendular pedals just don't have enough input when close to hover. I also reduced temp to 13º, but it changed nothing. In real life, hover would be a life threatening manouver to be avoided. That is not why I bought the module.

I would like to be able to organise the controllers in the controls setup, like putting least used ones all the way to the right. I also would like ..to see the AH-64 CPG's head tilt in turns to keep a vertical view of the world.

I'm a little confused about the term "auto hover SCAS" Do you mean "attitude hold"? -Or is there a dedicated auto hover I've missed out on?

I can't load CBU 105s Are they restricted to certain pylons, role or some historic filter?

I've reduced the temperature in a mission in order to get into a hover. From 20º to 13º 20º is regarded as part of "NTP" (Standard pressure and temperature) and should not give any problems afaik. And the right pedal input just don't have enough force to keep it even near steady. I'm doing heavy acrobatics with my legs to no avail, and showing up for work with a limp.

I need to rearrange the order of controllers in the controls setup. (From left to right) I hope there is a way to do it. But I haven't found any info describing that. Drag with mouse does not seem to do the job. If possible, do any of you know how?

Now that was a nice experience. And, at least for me, a suprisingly good performance. I was afraid the advanced tech would challenge the CPU, but so far it was smooth. To bad the "nychthemeron" (there is no word for it in english) ..does not have more hours.

There is a critical point, where the (right) undercarriage still has contact with the ground during takeoff. Get past that point a little faster.

You could press esc before changing screen focus. (Using alt-tab, maybe) This way you can watch the tutorial without machingun fire disturbing the sound.

Thank you for the clarification. I still gonna use the autohover, because it have worked fine for me in so many occations. (And it is a "must" when using the periscope) I only had some problems identifying whether it was active or not. I have noticed that the lights seem to have two positions: upper and lower. And I have come to believe that when it "drops" to lower pos. it is inactive.

The Kola map is a different beast from the rest, since those are mostly desert, ocean, or both.

Oh! Mildly interresting: The USS Gerald R. Ford was on Norwegian tour in the start of June. That was a majestic sight in Norwegian fjords.
