  1. Thats unfortunate.
  2. I hope thats not the case.
  3. I use fraps, seems to work ok.
  4. Any plans to port your awesome mod to the huey? Its looking like they may not have implemented it.
  5. So i've both made missions with JTAC as well as edited the A-10 mission "shooting range" and can't get a JTAC option to show up in the radio menu. Also even though i'm tuned to the flight UHF channel I can't hear other flight as you can in the hog. I tested the edited mission(s) with the A-10 and have no problems hearing and communicating with JTAC. I've also tried different radios (uhf,am,fm) and still nothing. Would be a useful option if it's not implemented, IR pointer for nighttime, smoke marker for day.
  6. That keeps freaking me out. Not used to having company in the pit, especially when he's just staring at you.
  7. I found a list of all NDB for us all. https://www.dropbox.com/s/kb47biu7he5is6i/Martin_Renders_LOSLAMs.pdf
  8. Don't try to fly it like the shark, thats what my biggest mistake was. As Doright said, holding the nose +1-+5 degrees slows her down nicely, also so sets you up for a nice easy hover. Once I settled down with all the yanking and banking I found she is a very nice flying chopper.
  9. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/218201/ AFAIK they aren't spring loaded in the real bird.
  10. I'd be interested in an answer to this as well. I was able to pick up an ILS beacon, can I use that with the ADF? The manual was indeed vague with the radio section. It seems like only a couple of the airports/bases have NDB. Why do we have 2 radios with ADF? What is the loop function? the manual essentially says, this is the loop setting....thx for enlightening me haha. I've heard you can set up a freq as a trigger for a mission, I'd assume you can add NDB's by added them to a LUA database. Would be nice to have that option. I'm kinda a radiofile :)
  11. Its like that by default in the shark, had to install a mod to release the rudder from the trim system.
  12. Yes.
  13. Getting a invalid HW code for my BS2 upgrade. All other modules work fine just getting this error with BS2. I tried the starforce website (as directed by the activator) and it's giving me the same HW code error. It mentions generating a new HW code but not sure how to do that.
  14. Huey first flight. This things a hand full.
  15. Great question. Could be because of the different modules that people have? Still would be nice if you could just download the world update as the module updates aren't as large I imagine.
  16. Use the torrent links, getting 4.3 Mbps down. All modules beside world done after 15 mins.
  17. The timer is still there, as is the ability to set IFF notifications through the IFFCC menu. Neither are functionally modelled. If it helps your immersion you can still cycle the timer, although it doesn't make any difference in performance of the missile.
  18. I test certain things when new patches come out, this is one of the things I look for, still not modelled. IIRC there should also be limits when you can deploy the mav's, I've deployed them during the inverted stage of a roll with no problems.
  19. shortcut would be to open the start menu and just type in "screenshots" in the empty box at the bottom. It will pull up any folders named screenshots. The above post will work as well.
  20. Not a direct answer to the OP's question but you can also go into your waypoint cdu page, goto anchor point and turn on bulls eye on hud. IIRC in on the bottom left side of the anchor page. This gives you your bulls eye direction and distance in the top right of your hud, quick glance tells you where you are in relation to bulls.
  21. Thats not implemented. Never had issues with the mavericks that related to the mav timer. I also conducted independent tests to make triple sure this was the case, 3-5 hours flying with them powered up didn't hinder the IR detection/acquisition ability in the slightest.
  22. My normal standard loadout has 2-4 97/105's so I was just tired of having to set them for 500' every time I loaded them. The 104's are a landmine dispersion bomb IIRC. You can set both HOF and RPM with both the way I described (for persistent changes) or through the DSMS page (every time you load them). AFAK 97/105 don't have a RPM setting. I also edited my countermeasure through the LUA file. DCS doesn't implement a data cartridge function so this is my work around, beats having to set weapons anytime you get in the jet. If you use custom weapon profiles, such as the names and values from the battlebook that was posted, you can add them to this file as well.
  23. Figured it out.
