I have to agree with you on that, would be nice to have just one sim for all our aviation needs. I jump on msfs regularly as I enjoy flying GA aircraft. Although I doubt we'll see DCS head down a civil aviation route.

So if DCS is going the world map route like MSFS, how will this affect MP? What about the WW2 theatres? Will it become just a vast empty space with sporadic players? I personally enjoy jumping into specific theatres and have no interest in flying long haul trips in DCS or buzzing around my house, I already have a sim for that. I just dont really understand the point of a world map in DCS, although it would make sense to stich some of the middle eastern theatres together. Can someone explain how this shift to world maps will happen and how will it benefit the DCS experience? Cheers

So...Is the T6C on the radar for any developers? Would be awesome to have a modern trainer, I'm sure plenty of us real world pilots would throw our wallets at a modern prop aircraft with all the gucci avionics and systems along with ground attack capabilities.

The following works for me, before turning on AP, make sure your speed is below 400kt and not in afterburn, trim aircraft so its straight and level and then hit the AP. You can speed up once it has settled onto its ALT and/or CAP hold

Hey guys, I like to use ILS approach most of the time even in VFR conditions . I have been struggling with this bird to keep the localiser needle steady. The needle sometimes swings too extreme for me and I start chasing it, it deflects to the very edges of the Spherical Indicator if I'm not on dead centre line, is anyone else experiencing this? Its more apparent on Marianas Also the needles are quite hard to focus on due to their size and lighting. Cheers

Just had Alt2 light on in Persia (Hoggit Server) after holding a 30° AoB Left Orbit for a few minutes at FL270 / 350kt IAS. Loadout: 1x centerline tank 2x R530F EM 2x Aim9 Juli Weather: SFC Temp +34°C QNH 1013 hPa Pressure lapse rate 29ft/hPa, FL270 = 931 hPa Wind 4 m/s (7kt) Edit: Just to add I havent experienced this Issue in Caucasus.. yet

I can confirm that the basic function of the AP is to kill you when you least expect it

I've been having issues with restarting the aircraft post engine shutdown, is that also an alternator issue?

Has anyone used the R/G modes? does it fly the ILS approach to a certain height?

If the module aims to be the most realistic representation of the real life A/C then regardless of whether its 'fun' or not it should be priced accordingly, and I would pay 'Hornet' prices for the older cold war and WW2 modules that have had immense work put into them.
