Have you noticed how the radio always fades on the interesting bit.. Sgt Baker when you say the export is handled by UMFCD does it still install a export into the scripts folder like this "C:\Users\G\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\Export.lua" I use EMC by iceman, helios and other bits of kit like bodnar boards and arduino. I would really like at least the same exports as EMC + would it be possible to export radio frequencies. ie does this work on just the screens or can it send any data.

Its a short of some kind either a trapped wire or the pot has gone, you have 2 choices either open them and see if you can see a trapped wire or get a new set.

been looking at it, cant afford it yet but it looks like another thing like helios. I dont think the 2 would be compatible.

there is a lot of info on their site with video about setting up and calibration, the latest ones have a magnetometer so are better and less prone to drift they say. I have 1 on order to look at and test so cheap compared to TiR. as my TiR3 has just packed in and I can't afford a new one, there is one on e-bay but the guy wants £139 i can get a new one for that, offered him £80 and he dropped to £129 still well over the top.

they decided at $800 to a grand it might be a tad expensive.

I use Track IR it's so nice to be able to just put on a hat and flick a switch to recenter as opposed to having to spend hours setting up freetrack or similar. no joke 47driver its what i do.

I dont know if putting the same info int the beta registry entry or even if there is a separate beta reg entry I don't use it. if you read back in this thread and then look in your reg you may be lucky also i dont know how you would get it to see both lots unless you had 2 installs of EMC.

what i did' take out enter bit between throttles.. remove the plastic bit that gives you either AB or noAB. take a craft knife and trim a little at a time off the step for AB till it just gives you a hump at AB position. BEAR IN MIND THIS WILL INVALIDATE YOUR WARANTEE but who cares. I have a nice push upto AB pos then a small bump into AB. simples..

I see it this way no protection, no sim companies, no complaints, so the op's problem is solved.

Mine on the other hand has no twist movement at all and is silky smooth in all directions..Aint I lucky ..

basically its a sim or it isn't. as far as i'm concerned if it is done that way on the real one then thats how you do it, no ifs no buts if you don't want to or can't be bothered then why are you here..it is a simulation not a press one button does all game, If you want that go play BF4 or warthunder or world of warplanes which are all brilliant simulations of a game...

My TiR 3 is about 15 years old I have no problems with it. It does all i want, the software is fully updated and it is still supported, no other company comes close in the PC world for support of something this old. I use the Trackclip pro and have not broken it in about 5 years service, I have just bought a aluminium replacement off ebay but only because I wanted to fit it to my helmet ( no smutty remarks please). so all in all massive value for money.

@ tarracta so you refuse to buy them, if so you don't have any DCS modules, So what are you doing here ?..

easiest way is Exports, but if you get Gadroc's a10 single monitor profile you can copy and paste from it.

No hope at all. But I have a10 & ka50 exports working, what do you need to do for what aircraft.

you need HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Eagle Dynamics DCS World in here you will find A-10C folder click on it and in the right hand window you should see an entry for path something like path reg-sz path = prog files ED DCS W mods Aircrafts a10c right click and choose modify change aircrafts to aircraft and exit regedit. if you only fly a10 that should be all EMC needs to find the info it needs.

All you do is swap the aircraft indicator files around as usual from backup folder, then go into your registry where you had to make the entries for paths to a10 and ka, modify path from [Drive]\\programfiles\ED\ DCSW\mods\AIRCRAFTS\[plane] to AIRCRAFT. so you should have Path reg_sz "path"="[drive:\\program Files\\Eagle Dynamics\\DCS World\\MODS\\aircraft\\[plane] obviously put your drive letter and your plane type in where needed. @ lupo, if you just do that it will work but EMC will not be able to tell between A10 and KA50 if you fly both. All ED has done on this update is change the folder name from aircrafts to aircraft so if you only fly One plane all that is needed is to point EMC at the new location.

Ok I presume you are using arduino as a HID like Overpro's. I am using bodnar boards for my switch panels and waiting for Boltz's solution to led's for one arduino the other will be either for more switches like you are doing or maybe displays for CMSP, Radios etc. I have not done a proper cockpit due to space but have a 2 screen setup over/under with switch panels on each side of lower monitor.

yes just make one I can't remember if it was there or not, so many changes. just copy and paste the other Export and setup helios. is it a hardware panel or onscreen.

Tue, what aircraft are you trying ?. the Export.lua is there but you don't change it, you have to put a different one that is made for Helios in the user/savedgames/ DCS/ Scripts file. if you are only doing A10 or KA50 just make a copy of the Export.lua found in program files/ eagle Dynamics/DCS World/ Scripts. paste it to the savedgames location then point helios at it and press setup. if you are into more than 1 plane or FC3 then it is a bit more complicated. https://www.mediafire.com/?fc3cmtms6vtn2rc this is my Export.lua which does A10c / KA50 And FC3. put into savegames/scripts point helios at this location DO NOT EVER PRESS HELIOS SETUP IT WILL WIPE THIS FILE. if you need help ask again good luck..
